Abstract

L'invention concerne une machine (1) comportant un dispositif d'excavation (7) pour recevoir du ballast (2) d'une voie ferrée, composée d'une chaîne d'excavation (6) conçue sans fin, guidée dans des canaux de chaîne (11) dans un plan de rotation. La chaîne est pourvue d'une pluralité de pelles de transport présentant des éléments de désagrégation faisant saillie sous forme de doigts. Les canaux de chaîne (11) sont composés d'un canal de déblayage inférieur, disposé dans un lit de ballast en fonctionnement, d'un canal de transport ascendant présentant une extrémité de décharge et d'un canal de vidage descendant. Lors du fonctionnement du dispositif d'excavation (7), le canal de déblayage inférieur est disposé derrière l'extrémité de décharge (16) dans le sens de travail (8) de la machine (1). Les éléments de désagrégation sont orientés radialement vers l'intérieur dans un segment de déviation de la chaîne d'excavation, du canal de déblayage vers le canal de transport.
