Definitions

  • the present invention refers to a vehicle immobilization system by bollards at gas stations, which has been conceived and carried out in order to obtain payment of fuel from all vehicles supplied. .
  • This system offers numerous and notable advantages over other existing means of analogous purposes.
  • the system is prepared so that when a vehicle is refueling it is immobilized by automatically raising a bollard from the ground in the front of the vehicle, another in the rear and another in the side. Well, the immobilization system will not let the vehicle leave without paying.
  • the bollards When the amount of the fuel is paid, the bollards will automatically fall and remain at the ground level of the gas station.
  • Bollards have two safety systems built in to provide greater security for pedestrians and large vehicles.
  • bollards and bollards used for traffic cutting of streets, housing developments, embassies, etc. are also known. Their use for "anti-moon landing" protection is also known.

Even so It is not possible to collect the subtracted amount, since they are less than the legal amount for theft. Sometimes he recovers.
  • the prepaid system is also in effect, which, as its name suggests, make the customer pay before refueling. But the system has several drawbacks and is that the customer does not like, and above all, is that the sales of the products in the store descend considerably, since the customer only goes with the intention of paying and does not buy anything. With all these problems, the owners of the gas stations dispense with this system.
  • the system of immobilization by bollards presents a new guarantee, and that is, the vehicle that has been refueled cannot be left unpaid, since it will be immobilized.
  • the system is based on the placement of three bollards with hydraulic motors that will increase from the ground level of the gas station to a height of 60 cm., Therefore, the total immobilization of the vehicle can be achieved.

Well, the non-immobilization system will leave the vehicle free, and continue its journey. The non-immobilization process takes three seconds.

  • the other safety system consists of the initial elevation of the 5 cm bollards and the stopping of the lifting process for 2 seconds, accompanied by light and acoustic signals, in order to prevent damage to vehicles or people.

  • the system will act on the rear bollard even if the striker is incorporated, preventing anyone from walking and wanting to fill the typical carafe, since the axle sensor has not detected any vehicle with at least two axes, and so it will have to alert to the gas station staff to be able to supply after making the pre-payment, since the supplier remains blocked, according to the control system signal.

  • Bollards 1 are equipped with two axle sensors 3, to verify the passage of any motor vehicle 7 with two or more axles and to prevent theft with bottles or similar containers, since it cannot be supplied due to not having recognized the passage of the vehicle. In security bollards 1 a safety system is incorporated, consisting of the fact that if there is no power supply, they will automatically be in the rest position.
