Abstract

본 발명은 중합성 액정 조성물에 관한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는 광학 필름에 사용되었을 경우 열적 안정성과 액정상 구간의 온도 범위가 넓은 특성을 지니며, 비용면에서도 효율적인 중합성 액정 조성물에 관한 것이다. 본 발명은 코어 구조가 연결기를 가지지 않고 서로 단일 결합으로 연결되거나 다중환 구조로 연결된 하나 이상의 환 구조를 가지는 액정성 화합물을 중합성 메소겐 화합물과 혼합하여 중합성 액정 조성물을 구성함으로써, 액정 재료간 상용성이 우수하고, 화학적으로 안정하며, 넓은 온도 범위 내에서 액정 상을 유지하고, 또한 액정 광학 필름에 사용한 경우 우수한 배향성, 내화학적으로 안정적 성질을 갖는 광학 필름을 제조할 수 있으며, 제조방법이 비교적 간단하기 때문에 비용면에서도 효율적이다.
