Abstract

본 발명은 변이균주를 이용하여, 글리세롤로부터 디올화합물을 제조하는 방법에 관한 것으로, 글리세롤 발효능력을 보유한 미생물에서 락테이트 디하이드로게나아제를 코딩하는 유전자를 결손시킨 변이체를 이용하여 고수율로 1,3-프로판디올 및 2,3-부탄디올을 생산하는 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따르면, 글리세롤 발효 미생물 변이체의 새로운 배양 방법을 통하여 1,3-프로판디올 및 2,3-부탄디올의 생산량을 월등히 개선할 수 있다.
