Abstract
Description
図1及び図2に示すように、リチウムイオン二次電池である角形電池(二次電池)1は、角形ケース2を備え、この角形ケース2内には極板群3が収容されている。角形ケース2の所定箇所には、図示しない正極端子と負極端子が設けられている。また角形ケース2内には、有機溶媒にリチウム塩を配合してなる電解液が充填されている。
図10は実施形態2に係る極板群の概略構成を示す斜視図であり、図11は、実施形態2に係る製造装置を示す概略図である。なお同一部材には同一符号を付し、重複する説明は省略する。
以上、本発明の実施形態について説明したが、本発明は、上記の実施形態に限定されるものではない。本発明は、その趣旨を逸脱しない範囲で適宜変更が可能なものである。

Claims (12)
- 所定枚数の正極板又は負極板を正極板用又は負極板用カセット部材に載置する極板載置工程と、
前記正極板用又は前記負極板用カセット部材に載置された所定枚数の前記正極板又は前記負極板を正極板用又は負極板用極板搬送部材に一括して供給する極板供給工程と、
複数のガイド部材でセパレータを押すことにより、前記セパレータをジグザグ折りにするジグザグ折り工程と、
前記ジグザグ折りにされた前記セパレータの各谷溝内に前記正極板用極板搬送部材に載置された前記正極板と前記負極板用極板搬送部材に載置された前記負極板とを交互に挿入することにより、前記セパレータを介して前記正極板と前記負極板とが交互に重なり合う積層体を形成する積層体形成工程と、
前記セパレータの各谷溝内から前記ガイド部材を抜去する抜去工程と、
前記積層体を前記正極板と前記負極板とが積層された方向に押圧する押圧工程と、を有することを特徴とする二次電池の製造方法。 - 所定枚数の正極板を正極板用カセット部材に載置する極板載置工程と、
前記正極板用カセット部材に載置された所定枚数の前記正極板を正極板用極板搬送部材に一括して供給する極板供給工程と、
複数のガイド部材で負極板を2枚のセパレータで挟んだ重畳体を押すことにより、前記重畳体をジグザグ折りにするジグザグ折り工程と、
前記ジグザグ折りにされた前記重畳体の各谷溝内に前記正極板用極板搬送部材に載置された前記正極板を挿入することにより、前記セパレータを介して前記正極板と前記負極板とが交互に重なり合う積層体を形成する積層体形成工程と、
前記重畳体の各谷溝内から前記ガイド部材を抜去する抜去工程と、
前記積層体を前記正極板と前記負極板とが積層された方向に押圧する押圧工程と、を有することを特徴とする二次電池の製造方法。 - 前記複数のガイド部材を鉛直方向にジグザグ状に配置し、前記ガイド部材の一方の列を他方の列との間に前記セパレータ又は前記重畳体を配置するセパレータ配置工程をさらに有し、
前記ジグザグ折り工程は、前記ガイド部材を列同士間で水平方向に交差させることにより行うことを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の二次電池の製造方法。 - 前記極板供給工程は、前記ジグザグ折り工程の前に行われることを特徴とする請求項1~3の何れか一項に記載の二次電池の製造方法。
- 前記極板載置工程は、一つ前の二次電池を製造するために行われる前記押圧工程までに行われることを特徴とする請求項1~4の何れか一項に記載の二次電池の製造方法。
- 前記極板載置工程は、一つ前の二次電池を製造するために行われる前記極板載置工程で用いられた前記正極板用又は前記負極板用カセット部材とは異なる前記正極板用又は前記負極板用カセット部材に前記正極板又は前記負極板を載置することを特徴とする請求項1~5の何れか一項に記載の二次電池の製造方法。
- 鉛直方向にジグザグ状に配列された複数のガイド部材を有し、前記ガイド部材の一方の列と他方の列との間にセパレータが配置されると、前記ガイド部材を列同士間で水平方向に交差させて前記セパレータをジグザグ折りするジグザグ折り手段と、
所定枚数の前記正極板又は前記負極板が載置される正極板用又は負極板用極板搬送部材を備え、前記正極板用又は前記負極板用極板搬送部材を前記セパレータの各谷溝内に移動させることで各谷溝内に前記正極板と前記負極板とを交互に挿入する極板挿入手段と、
前記セパレータを介して前記正極板と前記負極板とが交互に重なり合う積層体を各極板が積層される方向で押圧するプレス手段と、を備えると共に、
所定枚数の前記正極板又は前記負極板が載置される正極板用又は負極板用カセット部材を有し、前記正極板用又は前記負極板用カセット部材に載置されている複数枚の前記正極板又は前記負極板を前記正極板用又は前記負極板用極板搬送部材に一括して供給する供給手段を備えることを特徴とする二次電池の製造装置。 - 鉛直方向にジグザグ状に配列された複数のガイド部材を有し、前記ガイド部材の一方の列と他方の列との間に、負極板を2枚のセパレータで挟んだ重畳体が配置されると、前記ガイド部材が列同士間で水平方向に交差して前記重畳体をジグザグ折りするジグザグ折り手段と、
所定枚数の前記正極板が載置される正極板用極板搬送部材を備え、前記正極板用極板搬送部材を前記重畳体の各谷溝内に移動させることで各谷溝内に前記正極板を挿入する極板挿入手段と、
前記セパレータを介して前記正極板と前記負極板とが交互に重なり合う積層体を各極板が積層される方向で押圧するプレス手段と、を備えると共に、
所定枚数の前記正極板が載置される正極板用カセット部材を有し、前記正極板用カセット部材に載置された所定枚数の前記正極板を前記正極板用極板搬送部材に一括して供給する供給手段を備えることを特徴とする二次電池の製造装置。 - 前記供給手段は、前記ジグザグ折り手段によって前記セパレータ又は前記重畳体がジグザグ折りされるまでに、所定枚数の前記正極板又は前記負極板を前記正極板用又は前記負極板用カセット部材から前記正極板用又は前記負極板用極板搬送部材に一括して供給することを特徴とする請求項7又は8に記載の二次電池の製造装置。
- 前記供給手段は、前記正極板用又は前記負極板用カセット部材を複数台備えていることを特徴とする請求項7~9の何れか一項に記載の二次電池の製造装置。
- 前記供給手段は、前記正極板用又は前記負極板用カセット部材に載置された前記正極板又は前記負極板の縁部を押圧する押圧部材を備えることを特徴とする請求項7~10の何れか一項に記載の二次電池の製造装置。
- 前記押圧部材は、前記正極板又は前記負極板のリード部とは反対側の縁部を押圧することを特徴とする請求項11に記載の二次電池の製造装置。
