신용카드는 이제 현대인에게 없어서는 안될 필수품이다. 누구나 하나 이상의 신용카드를 보유하고 있으며, 이는 카드의 종류, 카드사의 종류에 따라 나뉘어진다. 대부분의 카드사들은 수 많은 카드들 중 자기 회사의 신용카드임을 나타내기 위하여 독특한 디자인을 채용하여 이에 따른 신용카드를 제조하고 있다.

이를 위하여 합성수지시트가 아닌 다른 재질의 시트 예로서, 금속시트를 기존의 합성수지들과 접착시켜 보다 색다른 질감이 표현될 수 있도록 한 카드가 제안된 바 있으나, 이는 이질(異質)인 금박 시트와 합성수지시트가 단순 열융착에 의해 집착된 구성으로, 장시간 사용시 금박시트와 합성수지시트 사이가 벌어져 들뜨는 현상이 발생되거나 금속시트가 변색 또는 변질되어 품질이 저하되는 문제가 있었다.
전술한 문제점을 해결하기 위한 본 발명의 특징은 고급 장식이 포함된 장식 플레이트 및 상기 장식 플레이트를 고정시키는 금속 플레이트를 구비함으로써, 장식물이 표면에 그대로 표현되어 심미적 기능을 극대화시킬 수 있는 장식물을 포함하는 카드 및 그 제조 방법을 제공하고자 하는 것이다.

전술한 특징을 갖는 본 발명의 장식물을 포함하는 카드의 제조방법에 있어서, 상기 (e) 단계 전에 상기 장식 플레이트 및 금속 플레이트를 절연 코팅 처리하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 것이 바람직하다.
전술한 특징을 갖는 본 발명의 장식물을 포함하는 카드의 제조방법에 있어서, 상기 장식 플레이트 및 금속 플레이트는 세라믹 코팅된 것을 특징으로 하는 것이 바람직하다.
전술한 특징을 갖는 본 발명의 장식물을 포함하는 카드의 제조방법에 있어서, 상기 (d) 단계는 상기 금속플레이트의 외측면에 상기 장식플레이트 및 후면인쇄층을 보호하기 위한 돌출부를 더 구비하도록 제작하는 것을 특징으로 하는 것이 바람직하다.
본 발명에 따른 장식물을 포함하는 카드는 금칠보 또는 은칠보를 포함하는 장식플레이트를 표면으로 배치함으로써, 아름답고 고급스러운 입체 장식이 그대로 표현되어 일반 장식 카드와 차별화가 가능하다.
또한, 본 발명에 따른 장식물을 포함하는 카드는 상기 금속 플레이트를 상기 장식플레이트 및 후면인쇄층 사이에 배치함으로써, 연성 재질의 장식플레이트가 휘거나 변형되는 현상을 미연에 방지할 수 있다.
또한, 본 발명에 따른 장식물을 포함하는 카드 및 그 제조 방법은 상기 장식플레이트와 금속플레이트에 세라믹 코팅 처리하고, 상기 금속플레이트는 상기 장식 플레이트를 보호하기 위한 돌출부를 구비함으로써, 마모되기 쉬운 장식 플레이트의 내구성을 향상시킬 수 있다.
도 1은 본 발명의 바람직한 실시예에 따른 장식물을 포함하는 카드의 분해사시도이다.
도 2는 본 발명의 바람직한 실시예에 따른 장식물을 포함하는 카드의 분해단면도이다.
도 3은 본 발명의 바람직한 실시예에 따른 장식물을 포함하는 카드의 제조방법을 순차적으로 도시한 흐름도이다.
이하, 첨부된 도면을 참조하여 본 발명의 바람직한 실시예에 따른 장식물을 포함하는 카드 및 그의 제조방법에 대하여 구체적으로 설명한다.
도 1은 본 발명의 바람직한 실시예에 따른 장식물을 포함하는 카드의 분해사시도이고, 도 2는 분해단면도이다. 도 1 및 도 2를 참조하면, 본 발명의 바람직한 실시예에 따른 장식물을 포함하는 카드는 장식플레이트(100), 금속플레이트(200) 및 후면 인쇄층(300)을 구비한다.
상기 장식플레이트(100)는 금(Au) 및 은(Ag) 중 어느 하나의 재질로 형성되어 있으며, 칠보와 같은 장식물(110)을 포함한다. 본 발명에서는 상기 장식물을 칠보로 예를 들었지만, 상기 칠보문양은 단지 예일 뿐이며, 이 밖에 자개, 옥, 호박, 다이아몬드와 같은 장식을 하는 것이 가능하다. 상기 장식물(110)은 도 1 및 도 2에 도시된 바와 같이 고급스러운 문양이 입체적으로 표현되도록 상기 장식플레이트(100)의 상부 표면에 배치되며, 표면으로 문양만 드러나도록 장식플레이트(100)에 삽입되어 배치될 수 있다.
상기 금속플레이트(200)는 상기 장식플레이트(100)와 후면인쇄층(300) 사이에 배치되고, 강성 재질의 금속으로 형성된다. 상기 장식플레이트(100)는 금이나 은과 같은 연성 재질로 형성되므로, 상기 장식플레이트(100)의 휨 방지를 위해, 상기 금속플레이트(200)는 스테인레스(stainless), 티타늄(titanum), 액체금속(liquid metal)과 같은 강성 재질의 금속으로 형성되는 것이 바람직하다. 또한, 상기 장식플레이트(100)는 연성 재질로서 모서리 부분이 생활 속 마찰로 인하여 마모가 쉽게 일어날 수 있으므로, 상기 장식플레이트(100)의 모서리를 보호할 수 있도록, 상기 금속플레이트(200)는 외측면에 돌출부(210)을 더 구비할 수 있다. 상기 돌출부(210)는 상기 장식플레이트(100) 뿐만 아니라 상기 후면인쇄층(300)도 보호하고, 외관상 두께가 통일될 수 있도록 상하로 형성되는 것이 바람직하다.
상기 후면인쇄층(300)은 카드 정보가 기록된 자기테이프(310)를 포함한다. 상기 후면인쇄층(300)은 카드정보가 인쇄될 수 있다.
한편, 상기 장식플레이트(100) 및 금속플레이트(200)는 세라믹 코팅과 같은 절연을 위한 코팅 처리가 되어 있는 것이 바람직하다. 세라믹 코팅이란, 금속이나 탄화물 등의 표면에 유리 혹은 알루미나 등의 산화물표면피복을 형성시킨 것으로서, 금속의 기계적 성질을 갖으면서 내산화성, 내약품성, 내마모성 등을 향상시키기 위해서 쓰인다. 따라서, 연성 재질을 갖는 장식플레이트(100)를 세라믹 코팅처리함으로써, 내마모성을 향상시켜 내구성을 갖게 한다. 이는 금속 플레이트(200)에도 동일하게 적용된다.
한편, 전술한 구성을 갖는 본 발명의 바람직한 실시예에 따른 장식물을 포함하는 카드는 상기 장식플레이트, 금속플레이트 및 후면인쇄층을 접착제를 사용하여 결합하는 것을 특징으로 한다. 본 발명에 따른 장식물을 포함하는 카드는 금칠보 또는 은칠보를 포함하는 장식플레이트를 표면으로 배치함으로써, 아름답고 고급스러운 입체 장식이 그대로 표현되어 일반 장식 카드와 차별화가 가능하다. 또한, 상기 금속 플레이트를 상기 장식플레이트 및 후면인쇄층 사이에 배치함으로써, 연성 재질의 장식플레이트가 휘거나 변형되는 현상을 미연에 방지할 수 있다. 또한, 상기 장식플레이트와 금속플레이트에 세라믹 코팅 처리하고, 상기 금속플레이트는 상기 장식 플레이트를 보호하기 위한 돌출부를 구비함으로써, 마모되기 쉬운 장식 플레이트의 내구성을 향상시킬 수 있다.
이하, 본 발명의 바람직한 실시예에 따른 장식물을 포함하는 카드의 제조방법에 대하여 설명한다.
도 3은 본 발명의 바람직한 실시예에 따른 장식물을 포함하는 카드의 제조방법을 순차적으로 도시한 흐름도이다. 도 3을 참조하면, 먼저, 카드 사이즈의 장식 플레이트를 준비한다(S300). 다음, 상기 장식 플레이트에 장식물을 제작한다(S320). 이때, 상기 장식 플레이트는 전술한 바와 같이 금이나 은으로 형성되는 것이 바람직하며, 상기 장식물은 칠보와 같은 보석으로 고급스러운 문양을 형성하는 것이 바람직하다.
다음, 카드의 정보를 기록할 수 있는 자기 테이프(MS-TAPE)를 포함하는 후면 인쇄층을 제작하고(S330), 강성재질의 금속 플레이트를 제작한다(S340). 상기 금속 플레이트는 스테인레스(stainless), 티타늄(titanum), 액체금속(liquid metal) 중어느 하나의 재질로 형성되어 상기 장식플레이트의 휨 현상을 방지하도록 한다. 또한, 연성 재질인 장식 플레이트의 모서리를 보호하기 위하여, 상기 금속 플레이트의 외측면에 돌출부를 더 구비하도록 제작할 수 있다. 이때, 상기 돌출부는 장식 플레이트의 모서리만을 보호하는 것이 아니라 후면인쇄층도 보호하기 위하여 상하로 형성되는 것이 바람직하다.
다음, 상기 장식플레이트, 금속플레이트 및 후면인쇄층 순으로 배치하여 결합하되, 접착제를 사용하여 결합하는 것을 특징으로 한다(S360). 이때, 상기 장식플레이트, 금속플레이트 및 후면인쇄층을 결합하기 전에 상기 장식 플레이트 및 금속 플레이트를 절연 코팅 처리하는 단계를 더 포함할 수 있다. 상기 절연 코팅 처리하는 단계는 상기 장식플레이트, 금속플레이트 및 후면인쇄층을 결합하기 직전에 진행할 수 있으며(S350), 또는 장식플레이트, 금속플레이트가 각각 준비된 직후에 바로 진행될 수도 있다(S310, S350). 본 발명에서는 장식 플레이트 및 금속플레이트를 절연 코팅 처리하는 방법 중 하나인 세라믹 코팅으로 처리한다. 상기 장식 플레이트 및 금속 플레이트를 세라믹 코팅처리함으로써, 내마모성을 향상시켜 내구성을 높일 수 있다.
이상에서 본 발명에 대하여 그 바람직한 실시예를 중심으로 설명하였으나, 이는 단지 예시일 뿐 본 발명을 한정하는 것이 아니며, 본 발명이 속하는 분야의 통상의 지식을 가진 자라면 본 발명의 본질적인 특성을 벗어나지 않는 범위에서 이상에 예시되지 않은 여러가지의 변형과 응용이 가능함을 알 수 있을 것이다. 그리고, 이러한 변형과 응용에 관계된 차이점들은 첨부된 청구 범위에서 규정하는 본 발명의 범위에 포함되는 것으로 해석되어야 할 것이다.
본 발명에 따른 장식물을 포함하는 카드 및 그 제조방법은 신용 카드를 이용하는 모든 분야에 널리 적용될 수 있다. 특히, 상류층 소수 고객들을 위한 차별화된 맞춤 카드로 적용이 가능하다.

Claims (16)

  1. 장식물을 포함하는 장식 플레이트;
    자기테이프를 포함하는 후면인쇄층; 및
    상기 장식플레이트와 후면인쇄층 사이에 배치되고, 강성 재질의 금속으로 형성되는 금속 플레이트;
    를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 장식물을 포함하는 카드.
  2. 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 카드는
    상기 장식플레이트, 금속플레이트 및 후면인쇄층을 접착제를 사용하여 결합하는 것을 특징으로 하는 장식물을 포함하는 카드.
  3. 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 장식 플레이트는
    금(Au) 및 은(Ag) 중 어느 하나의 재질로 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 장식물을 포함하는 카드.
  4. 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 장식물은
    칠보, 자개, 옥, 호박, 다이아몬드 중 어느 하나 또는 둘 이상으로 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 장식물을 포함하는 카드.
  5. 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 금속플레이트는
    외측면에 상기 장식플레이트 및 후면인쇄층을 보호하기 위한 돌출부를 더 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 장식물을 포함하는 카드.
  6. 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 금속플레이트는
    스테인레스(stainless), 티타늄(titanum), 액체금속(liquid metal) 중 어느 하나의 재질로 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 장식물을 포함하는 카드.
  7. 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 장식 플레이트 및 금속 플레이트는
    절연을 위한 코팅 처리가 되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 장식물을 포함하는 카드.
  8. 제 7항에 있어서, 상기 장식 플레이트 및 금속 플레이트는
    세라믹 코팅된 것을 특징으로 하는 장식물을 포함하는 카드.
  9. 장식물을 포함하는 카드의 제조방법에 있어서,
    (a) 카드 사이즈의 장식 플레이트를 준비하는 단계;
    (b) 상기 장식 플레이트에 장식물을 제작하는 단계;
    (c) 카드의 정보를 기록할 수 있는 자기 테이프를 포함하는 후면 인쇄층을 제작하는 단계;
    (d) 강성재질의 금속 플레이트를 제작하는 단계; 및
    (e) 상기 장식플레이트, 금속 플레이트 및 후면인쇄층 순으로 배치하여 결합하는 단계;
    를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 장식물을 포함하는 카드의 제조방법.
  10. 제 9항에 있어서, 상기 (e) 단계는
    상기 장식플레이트, 금속플레이트 및 후면인쇄층을 접착제를 사용하여 결합하는 것을 특징으로 하는 장식물을 포함하는 카드의 제조방법.
  11. 제 9항에 있어서, 상기 (a) 단계에서 장식플레이트는
    금(Au) 및 은(Ag) 중 어느 하나의 재질로 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 장식물을 포함하는 카드의 제조방법.
  12. 제 9항에 있어서, 상기 (b) 단계는
    칠보, 자개, 옥, 호박, 다이아몬드 중 어느 하나 또는 둘 이상으로 형성되는 장식물을 상기 장식플레이트의 상부 표면에 배치하는 것을 특징으로 하는 장식물을 포함하는 카드의 제조방법.
  13. 제 9항에 있어서, 상기 (d) 단계에서 상기 금속플레이트는
    스테인레스(stainless), 티타늄(titanum), 액체금속(liquid metal) 중 어느 하나의 재질로 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 장식물을 포함하는 카드의 제조방법.
  14. 제 9항에 있어서, 상기 (e) 단계 전에
    상기 장식 플레이트 및 금속 플레이트를 절연 코팅 처리하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 장식물을 포함하는 카드의 제조방법.
  15. 제 14항에 있어서, 상기 장식 플레이트 및 금속 플레이트는
    세라믹 코팅된 것을 특징으로 하는 장식물을 포함하는 카드의 제조방법.
  16. 제 9항에 있어서, 상기 (d) 단계는
    상기 금속플레이트의 외측면에 상기 장식플레이트 및 후면인쇄층을 보호하기 위한 돌출부를 더 구비하도록 제작하는 것을 특징으로 하는 장식물을 포함하는 카드의 제조 방법.
