Abstract

A presente invenção objetiva solucionar a problemática dos revestimentos de componentes de motor (bloco de motor ou camisas, fixas ou removíveis) dotados de pelo menos uma cavidade cilíndrica e compostos primordialmente por ferro ou alumínio, dotando-os de um revestimento (3) que se apresenta subdividido em três diferentes camadas que estão depositadas em cima do substrato (1) metálico, são elas uma primeira subcamada (21) compreendendo pelo menos 80% de silício depositado no substrato (1) com a função de promover uma interface com boa adesão entre o substrato (1) metálico e as subcamadas subsequentes que contêm carbono amorfo hidrogenado, uma segunda subcamada (22) de transição compreendendo uma porcentagem de silício e de carbono amorfo hidrogenado (a-C:H:Si) e, por fim, na superfície de trabalho, uma terceira subcamada (23) dotada de uma composição pura de carbono amorfo hidrogenado(a-C:H), sendo que tal revestimento (3) é gerado pelo efeito de cátodo oco (HCE) através de deposição química de vapor potencializada por plasma (PECVD).
