Abstract

Un componente (20) automotriz se fabrica depositando un revestimiento (24) no metálico sobre una superficie de una pieza en tosco o preforma (26) de acero antes del estampado en caliente de la preforma (26) de acero. El revestimiento (24) no metálico incluye uno de silicio y carbono, y también puede incluir oxígeno, nitrógeno, compuestos cerámicos y carburos.
