Abstract
Description
この公報に開示される従来技術では、モータジェネレータと電力のやり取りが可能な蓄電手段である駆動用高電圧のバッテリを備え、モータジェネレータとバッテリとの間に両者間の接続を開閉するコンタクタを備え、バッテリの充電状態を表すSOC(State Of Charge)がある閾値より小さくなると、コンタクタをオフし、バッテリの放電を完全に停止することで、バッテリの過放電によるバッテリの劣化を防いでいる。
特に、動力伝達機構を有したハイブリッド車両のようなエンジンとモータジェネレータとが直結されているハイブリッド車両においては、バッテリを消費してモータジェネレータを駆動し、クランキングを行うことでエンジンを始動させる。このようなハイブリッド車両のエンジン始動時に、SOCの低下によってバッテリ保護の為に設けられたコンタクタをオフする閾値をSOCが下回り、コンタクタがオフされてしまった場合、再度IGONを行ってエンジンの始動を試みたとしても、クランキングによるSOCの減少によって再びコンタクタがオフされ、エンジンを再始動できないという問題点があった。
前記エンジン2は、アクセル開度(アクセルペダルの踏み込み量)に対応して吸入する空気量を調整するスロットルバルブ等の空気量調整手段10と、吸入する空気量に対応する燃料を供給する燃料噴射弁等の燃料供給手段11と、燃料に着火する点火装置等の着火手段12とを備えている。エンジン2は、空気量調整手段10と燃料供給手段11と着火手段12とにより燃料の燃焼状態を制御され、燃料の燃焼により駆動力を発生する。
前記第1モータジェネレータ4は、第1モータロータ軸13と第1モータロータ14と第1モータステータ15とを備えている。前記第2モータジェネレータ5は、第2モータロータ軸16と第2モータロータ17と第2モータステータ18とを備えている。第1モータジェネレータ4の第1モータステータ15は、第1インバータ19に接続されている。第2モータジェネレータ5の第2モータステータ18は、第2インバータ20に接続されている。
第1インバータ19と第2インバータ20との電源端子は、双方向型のDC-DCコンバータ21とコンタクタ22とを介してバッテリ23に接続されている。バッテリ23は、第1モータジェネレータ4および第2モータジェネレータ5との間で電力のやり取りが可能な蓄電手段である。コンタクタ22は、第1モータジェネレータ4および第2モータジェネレータ5とバッテリ23との間の接続を開閉する。第1モータジェネレータ4と第2モータジェネレータ5とは、それぞれ第1インバータ19と第2インバータ20とによりDC-DCコンバータ21を介してバッテリ23から供給される電気量を制御され、供給される電気により駆動力を発生するとともに、回生時の駆動輪6による駆動で電気エネルギを発生し、発生した電気エネルギをDC-DCコンバータ21を介してバッテリ23に充電する。
第1遊星歯車機構8と第2遊星歯車機構9とは、各回転要素の回転中心線を同一軸上に配置し、エンジン2と第1遊星歯車機構8との間に第1モータジェネレータ4を配置し、第2遊星歯車機構9のエンジン2から離れる側に第2モータジェネレータ5を配置している。第2モータジェネレータ5は、単独出力のみでハイブリッド車両1を走行させることができる性能を備えている。
第1遊星歯車機構8の第1サンギア24には、第1モータジェネレータ4の第1モータロータ軸13を接続している。第1遊星歯車機構8の第1プラネタリキャリア26と第2遊星歯車機構9の第2サンギア28とは、結合してエンジン2の出力軸3にワンウェィクラッチ32を介して接続している。第1遊星歯車機構8の第1リングギア27と第2遊星歯車機構9の第2プラネタリキャリア30とは、結合して出力部33に連結している。出力部33は、歯車やチェーン等の出力伝達機構34を介して前記駆動軸7に接続している。第2遊星歯車機構9の第2リングギア31には、第2モータジェネレータ5の第2モータロータ軸16を接続している。
ハイブリッド車両1は、エンジン2と第1モータジェネレータ4と第2モータジェネレータ5とが発生する動力を、動力伝達機構の第1遊星歯車機構8と第2遊星歯車機構9とを介して駆動軸7に出力し、駆動輪6を駆動する。また、ハイブリッド車両1は、駆動輪6からの駆動力を、動力伝達機構の第1遊星歯車機構8と第2遊星歯車機構9とを介して第1モータジェネレータ4と第2モータジェネレータ5とに伝達し、電気エネルギを発生してバッテリ23を充電する。
このように、ハイブリッド車両1は、エンジン2と第1モータジェネレータ4と第2モータジェネレータ5と駆動軸7との間で、駆動力の授受を行う。
また、車両制御部35は、バッテリ23の充電・放電を管理するバッテリ管理手段40を接続し、充電状態算出手段41と、モータ制御手段42とを備えている。充電状態算出手段41は、バッテリ管理手段40から入力する信号でバッテリ23の充電状態(SOC)を算出する。モータ制御手段42は、充電状態算出手段41が算出したSOCを考慮して、DC-DCコンバータ21、コンタクタ22を動作してバッテリ23のSOCを制御する。
前記車両制御部35は、標準開閉手段43を備えている。標準開閉手段43は、前記充電状態算出手段41により算出されたSOCが標準下限値SOC1よりも低い場合には、コンタクタ22をオフする。
また、車両制御部35は、エンジン始動信号を入力するイグニションスイッチ44を接続し、エンジン始動時開閉手段45を備えている。エンジン始動時開閉手段45は、充電状態算出手段41により算出されたSOCが、標準開閉手段43によりコンタクタ22をオフするような標準下限値SOC1よりも低い値であっても、イグニションスイッチ44からエンジン始動信号が入力された場合には、コンタクタ22をオンし続ける。エンジン始動時開閉手段45によるコンタクタ22のオン動作は、充電状態算出手段41により算出されたSOCが、標準下限値SOC1よりも所定値Aだけ低い値に設定されたエンジン始動時用下限値SOC2よりも高い場合に、実行される。
ハイブリッド車両1は、図2に示すように、車両制御部35によって制御を実行する。なお、図2に示すルーチンは、周期的に実行される。
図2において、車両制御部35は、コンタクタ22がオフした後にエンジン2を始動するためにイグニションスイッチ44がオン(IGON)され、エンジン始動信号が入力されることで制御がスタートすると(100)、本制御に用いる各種信号(イグニションスイッチ44がオンされた直後のバッテリ23の初期のSOCf、バッテリ23の現在のSOCp、コンタクタ22をオフする標準下限値SOC1、エンジン始動時用下限値SOC2を設定するための所定値A)を取り込み(101)、現在のSOCpが、エンジン始動時用下限値SOC2より大きいか(SOCp>SOC2)を判断する(102)。
前記エンジン始動時用下限値SOC2は、現在のSOCpから所定値Aだけ引いた値であり、標準下限値SOC1よりも低い値に設定されている。
前記判断(102)がNOの場合は、コンタクタ22をオフし(108)、各種信号の取り込み(101)にリターンする(107)。前記判断(102)がYESの場合は、現在のSOCpから所定値Aを引いた値(SOCp-A)と初期のSOCfから所定値Aを引いた値(SOCf-A)とを比較し、大きいほうの値を保存し(103)、ステップ103の計算結果と標準下限値SOC1とを比較し、小さいほうの値を閾値(エンジン始動時用下限値SOC2)に設定し(104)、ステップ105に進む。
ステップ105においては、現在のSOCpがステップ104で設定された閾値のエンジン始動時用下限値SOC2より大きいか(SOCp>SOC2)を判断する(105)。この判断(105)がYESの場合は、コンタクタ22をオンし(106)、各種信号の取り込み(101)にリターンする(107)。この判断(105)がNOの場合は、コンタクタ22をオフし(108)、各種信号の取り込み(101)にリターンする(107)。
車両制御部35は、コンタクタ22がオフされた後に、エンジン2を始動するためにイグニションスイッチ44がオン(IGON)されると(t3)、同時にコンタクタ22をオンする。コンタクタ22のオンで、イグニションスイッチ44のオン直後の初期のSOCfが現在のSOCpと等しく、この現在のSOCpが標準下限値SOC1より低い場合、現在のSOCpから所定値Aを引いた値を閾値(エンジン始動時用下限値SOC2)として設定し、SOCpがその閾値のエンジン始動時用下限値SOC2より低くならない限りはコンタクタ22をオフしないでオンし続ける。
イグニションスイッチ44がオン(コンタクタ22をオン)した後に、エンジン2のクランキングが開始されると(t4)、現在のSOCpが低下するが、エンジン2の完爆して始動が完了した時点(t5)から現在のSOCpが上昇を開始する。車両制御部35は、イグニションスイッチ44をオン直後の初期のSOCfで設定される閾値のエンジン始動時用下限値SOC2と、現在のSOCpによって設定される閾値のエンジン始動時用下限値SOC2とを比較し、大きい値を閾値のエンジン始動時用下限値SOC2として更新を開始する(t6)。現在のSOCpが標準下限値SOC1を超えて上昇し(t7)、閾値であるエンジン始動時用下限値SOC2が標準下限値SOC1に達すると(t8)、エンジン始動時用下限値SOC2の更新を終了する。
なお、図4に示すように、車両制御部35は、SOCが低下して標準下限値SOC1に達し(t1)、コンタクタ22がオフされ、イグニションスイッチ44がオフ(t2)された後に、エンジン2を始動するためにイグニションスイッチ44がオン(コンタクタ22がオン)されたとき(t3)、現在のSOCpが標準下限値SOC1と等しい場合、現在のSOCp(標準下限値SOC1)から所定値Aを引いた値を閾値(エンジン始動時用下限値SOC2)として設定する。
車両制御部35は、エンジン2のクランキングが開始されて(t4)、現在のSOCpが閾値のエンジン始動時用下限値SOC2より低くならない限りはコンタクタ22をオフしないでオンし続ける。エンジン2が始動されずに、現在のSOCpが低下して閾値のエンジン始動時用下限値SOC2に達すると(t5)、コンタクタ22をオフする。
また、このハイブリッド車両1は、SOCの低下によるバッテリ23の劣化を最小限に抑えながら、エンジン2を始動することが可能なので、バッテリ23の保護とエンジン2の始動性向上とを両立させることが可能である。
このハイブリッド車両1は、第1モータジェネレータ4及び第2モータジェネレータ5と電力のやり取りが可能なバッテリ23を備え、第1モータジェネレータ4及び第2モータジェネレータ5とバッテリ23との間に両者間の接続を開閉するコンタクタ22を備え、バッテリ23の充電・放電を管理するバッテリ管理手段40を車両制御部35に接続している。車両制御部35は、バッテリ管理手段40から入力する信号でバッテリ23の充電状態(SOC)を算出する充電状態算出手段41を備え、モータ制御手段42によりDC-DCコンバータ21、コンタクタ22を動作してバッテリ23のSOCを制御する。車両制御部35は、標準開閉手段43を備え、充電状態算出手段41により算出されたSOCが標準下限値SOC1よりも低い場合には、コンタクタ22をオフする。
また、車両制御部35は、エンジン始動信号を入力するイグニションスイッチ44を接続し、エンジン始動時開閉手段45を備えている。エンジン始動時開閉手段45は、充電状態算出手段41により算出されたSOCが、標準開閉手段43によりコンタクタ22をオフするような標準下限値SOC1よりも低い値であっても、イグニションスイッチ44からエンジン始動信号が入力された場合には、コンタクタ22をオンし続ける。エンジン始動時開閉手段45により実行されるコンタクタ22のオン動作は、予め設定された所定時間T内に、SOCが標準下限値SOC1を越えない場合には動作を停止し、コンタクタ22をオフする。
ハイブリッド車両1は、図5に示すように、車両制御部35によって制御を実行する。なお、図5に示すルーチンは、周期的に実行される。
図5において、車両制御部35は、コンタクタ22がオフされた後にエンジン2を始動するためにイグニションスイッチ44がオン(IGON)され、エンジン始動信号が入力されることで制御がスタートすると(200)、本制御に用いる各種信号(イグニションスイッチ44がオンされた直後のバッテリ23の初期のSOCf、バッテリ23の現在のSOCp、コンタクタ22をオフする標準下限値SOC1、エンジン始動時用下限値SOC2を設定するための所定値A、エンジン始動後に現在のSOCpが標準下限値SOC1を超えるのに必要な所定時間T)を取り込み(201)、現在のSOCpが、エンジン始動時用下限値SOC2より大きいか(SOCp>SOC2)を判断する(202)。
前記エンジン始動時用下限値SOC2は、現在のSOCpから所定値Aだけ引いた値であり、標準下限値SOC1よりも低い値に設定されている。また、前記所定時間Tは、図7に示すように、標準下限値SOC1とエンジン始動直後の初期のSOCfとの差から所定時間テーブルとして設定され、イグニションスイッチ44がオンされた直後のバッテリ23の初期のSOCfが大きいほど、長い時間に設定している。
前記判断(202)がNOの場合は、コンタクタ22をオフし(208)、各種信号の取り込み(201)にリターンする(207)。前記判断(202)がYESの場合は、標準下限値SOC1と初期のSOCfとの差によってコンタクタ22をオンする所定時間Tを図7の所定時間テーブルより設定し(203)、所定時間Tが経過したかを判断する(204)。
この判断(204)がNOの場合は、コンタクタ22をオンし(206)、各種信号の取り込み(201)にリターンする(207)。この判断(204)がYESの場合は、現在のSOCpが標準下限値SOC1を越えたかを判断する(205)。この判断(105)がYESの場合は、コンタクタ22をオンし(206)、各種信号の取り込み(201)にリターンする(207)。この判断(205)がNOの場合は、コンタクタ22をオフし(208)、各種信号の取り込み(201)にリターンする(207)。
車両制御部35は、コンタクタ22がオフされた後に、エンジン2を始動するためにイグニションスイッチ44がオン(IGON)されると(t3)、同時にコンタクタ22をオンする。コンタクタ22のオンで、イグニションスイッチ44のオン直後の初期のSOCfが現在のSOCpと等しく、この現在のSOCpが標準下限値SOC1より低い場合、イグニションスイッチ39のオン時から標準下限値SOC1と初期のSOCfとの差によって設定された所定時間Tの計時を開始し、SOCpがその閾値のエンジン始動時用下限値SOC2より低くならない限りはコンタクタ22をオフしないでオンし続ける。
イグニションスイッチ44がオン(コンタクタ22をオン)した後に、エンジン2のクランキングが開始されると(t4)、現在のSOCpが低下するが、エンジン2の完爆して始動が完了した時点(t5)から現在のSOCpが上昇を開始する。車両制御部35は、現在のSOCpが初期のSOCfを超え(t6)、さらに標準下限値SOC1を超えて上昇し(t7)、所定時間Tが経過すると(t8)、コンタクタ22をオフする。
なお、図4に示すように、車両制御部35は、SOCが降下して標準下限値SOC1に達して(t1)、コンタクタ22がオフされ、イグニションスイッチ44がオフ(t2)された後に、エンジン2を始動するためにイグニションスイッチ44がオン(コンタクタ22がオン)されたとき(t3)、現在のSOCpが標準下限値SOC1と等しい場合、現在のSOCp(標準下限値SOC1)から所定値Aを引いた値を閾値(エンジン始動時用下限値SOC2)として設定する。
車両制御部35は、エンジン2のクランキングが開始されて(t4)、現在のSOCpが閾値のエンジン始動時用下限値SOC2より低くならない限りはコンタクタ22をオフしないでオンし続ける。エンジン2が始動されずに、現在のSOCpが低下して閾値のエンジン始動時用下限値SOC2に達すると(t5)、コンタクタ22をオフする。
また、このハイブリッド車両1は、SOCの低下によるバッテリ23の劣化を最小限に抑えながら、エンジン2を始動することが可能なので、バッテリ23の保護とエンジン2の始動性向上とを両立させることが可能である。
さらに、このハイブリッド車両1は、予め設定された所定時間T内に、SOCが標準下限値SOC1を越えない場合にはコンタクタ22のオン動作を停止し、コンタクタ22をオフするので、バッテリ23の劣化を最小限に抑制することが可能である。

Claims (2)
- エンジンとモータジェネレータとから発生する動力を、動力伝達機構を介して、駆動軸に出力するハイブリッド車両において、 前記モータジェネレータと電力のやり取りが可能な蓄電手段を備え、前記モータジェネレータと蓄電手段との間に両者間の接続を開閉するコンタクタを備え、前記蓄電手段の充電状態を算出する充電状態算出手段を備え、前記充電状態算出手段により算出された充電状態が標準下限値よりも低い場合には、前記コンタクタをオフする標準開閉手段を備え、前記充電状態算出手段により算出された充電状態が、前記標準開閉手段によりコンタクタをオフするような値であっても、エンジン始動信号が入力された場合には、前記コンタクタをオンし続けるエンジン始動時開閉手段を備え、前記エンジン始動時開閉手段によるコンタクタのオン動作は、前記充電状態算出手段により算出された充電状態が標準下限値よりも所定値低い値に設定されたエンジン始動時用下限値よりも高い場合に実行されることを特徴とするハイブリッド車両。
- 前記エンジン始動時開閉手段により実行されるコンタクタのオン動作は、予め設定された所定時間内に、充電状態が標準下限値を越えない場合には動作を停止し、コンタクタをオフすることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のハイブリッド車両。
