Abstract

L'invention porte sur un tambour de ramassage (10) qui permet de couper un tronc d'arbre en morceaux fins et qui présente des moyens de coupe (30) configurés autour de la circonférence du tambour (10), des espaces entre des disques externes (14) et des plaques de support intermédiaires (16) formant des indentations ou des poches (18), les indentations ou les poches (18) étant agencées symétriquement, de manière alternée et décalée, formant ainsi un cylindre théorique, les poches (18) étant agencées sous la forme d'un chevron dans une face du tambour (10), une enveloppe (22) encerclant le cylindre théorique à l'exception des poches (18) ; les moyens de coupe (30) montés au niveau des poches agencées en chevron (18) comprenant un bord coupant qui, lorsque le tambour de ramassage (10) tourne, empiète sur le matériau à distribuer automatiquement vers le tambour de ramassage (10) pour un broyage ; les indentations ou les poches (18) projetant la saleté, le matériau coupé, le surplus de copeaux, la matière étrangère etc., vers l'extérieur à partir du tambour de ramassage (10) par une force centrifuge générée par le mouvement rotatif du tambour de ramassage (10).
