Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif de garnissage de convertisseurs d'aciéries présentant une station de base mobile sous le convertisseur ouvert par sa zone de fond et une plate-forme qui est soutenue par des supports agencés sur la station de base et déployables de manière télescopique et qui peut être élevée par le déploiement des supports à l'intérieur du convertisseur. Le dispositif de garnissage est caractérisé en ce que les supports à déploiement mécanique sont formés d'une pluralité d'éléments profilés individuels, agencés les uns à côté des autres et parallèlement les uns aux autres sous forme de paquet. A partir d'un premier élément profilé agencé fixement sur la station de base, tous les autres éléments profilés sont respectivement reliés les uns aux autres par des moyens de traction accouplant entre eux les éléments profilés adjacents les uns aux autres, de telle sorte que, lors du déplacement relatif du premier élément profilé mobile adjacent à l'élément profilé fixe par l'intermédiaire des moyens de traction respectivement associés, il se produit simultanément un déplacement forcé des autres éléments profilés adjacents et reliés les uns aux autres par des moyens de traction, ce qui permet d'obtenir une élévation en chaîne à guidage forcé des différents éléments profilés pour la formation d'un support mécaniquement déployable.
