Abstract
본 발명은 휠로더의 변속기(transmission)를 자동으로 제어하는 방법에 관한 것으로, 특히 구체적으로는 휠로더가 작업을 수행하는 다수의 작업 단계 중 굴삭과 같은 특정 단계에서 자동으로 킥다운을 수행할 수 있도록 하는 자동 제어 방법에 관한 것으로, 이를 위하여 변속 제어 장치가 변속기의 센서로부터 다양한 정보를 수신하는 단계와, 변속 제어 장치가 붐 각도 센서로부터 버켓 위치 정보를 수신하는 단계 및 이들 수신된 정보가 소정의 조건을 만족하는 경우에 자동으로 2단에서 1단으로 자동 킥다운 변속을 수행하는 방법에 관한 것이며, 이에 굴삭 작업을 위해 제동을 하는 경우, 낮은 엔진 회전수와 낮은 부하, 그리고 낮은 주행 속도 조건에 의해, 그리고 버켓 위치가 지면에 인접한 상태의 조건에 의해 자동 킥다운 변속이 수행되고, 따라서 1단으로 미리 변속된 상태에서 굴삭 작업이 시작되어 작업 효율을 높일 수 있다.
