Abstract

본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 방송 신호 송신기는 제 1 입력 신호 및 제 2 입력 신호를 생성하는 입력 신호 생성부; 제 1 입력 신호 및 제 2 입력 신호를 MIMO 프로세싱하여 제 1 전송 신호 및 제 2 전송 신호를 출력하는 MIMO 인코더; 및 제 1 전송 신호 및 제 2 전송 신호를 각각 OFDM 변조하는 제1 OFDM 제네레이터 및 제 2 OFDM 제네레이터를 포함하며, MIMO 프로세싱은 제 1 입력 신호 및 제 2 입력 신호에 MIMO 매트릭스를 적용하고, MIMO 매트릭스는 페이즈 로테이션(phase rotation) 매트릭스를 사용하여 위상을 변화시키고, 파라미터 a를 사용하여 제 1 입력 신호 및 제 2 입력 신호의 전력을 조정하고, 파라미터 a는 제 1 입력 신호 및 제 2 입력 신호의 모듈레이션 타입에 따라 다른 값으로 설정된다.
