Abstract

Cette invention concerne une composition dépilatoire ou une composition pour éclaircir la peau comprenant un composé représenté par la Formule Générale I suivante à titre d'ingrédient actif : Formule Générale I S-(MS)p-(MS)q, S étant un acide sialique et (MS)p et (MS)q étant des résidus monosaccharides indépendants. La composition selon la présente invention peut réduire le nombre de cellules folliculeuses pileuses de manière significative, et peut en outre avoir une fonction d'éclaircissement de la peau pour maximiser un effet cosmétique obtenu par élimination des poils. La composition selon la présente invention réduit la quantité de mélanine pour procurer un effet d'éclaircissement de la peau. La composition selon la présente invention est inoffensive pour l'homme et, par conséquent, sans danger.
