Abstract

Verfahren und Vorrichtung zum Detektieren von Fehlstellen in einem kontinuierlich erzeugtem Float-Glasband (7) mittels der Prüfung eines quer zur Förderrichtung verlaufenden, im Durchlicht beobachteten Glas-Streifens, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sie die folgenden Merkmale aufweist: a) mittels einer modulartig aufgebauten Befestigungsbrücke (3) und darauf befestigten Scansensoren (2) sowie zweier quer zum Glasband angeordneter Durchleuchtungsmittel wird der Fluss eines Float-Glasbandes lückenlos überwacht, b) jeder Scansensor lässt sich mittels einer Justiereinrichtung gemäß der 3 Raumkoordinaten in positiver und negativer Richtung ausrichten und mittels einer einschwenkbaren Target-Einrichtung in der Form einer künstlichen Messebene feinjustieren, c) die Leuchtmittel (20, 23) werden mittels einer Kühleinrichtung (21) gekühlt.
