Definitions
- This invention relates to a fishing reel that uses a one-way clutch to control the rotation of a spool that winds a fishing line.
- a spool around which a fishing line is wound is rotated by a drive motor or a handle.
- a clutch mechanism that transmits or blocks rotational force
- a drag mechanism that applies resistance force against rotation
- a one-way clutch mechanism that allows rotation in only one direction, etc. The rotation of the spool can be controlled accordingly.
- a spool is rotatably supported between both side plates of the reel body, and a handle shaft is rotatably supported on an outer peripheral portion of one side plate.
- a handle is attached to the handle shaft via a first one-way clutch that transmits rotational force only in one direction, and the handle is rotated to operate the spool only in the direction of winding the fishing line via the power transmission mechanism. It is configured to rotate.
- an external frame having an electric motor attached to the reel body is detachably mounted, and a second one-way clutch that transmits rotational force only in the same direction as the first one-way clutch is mounted on the handle shaft. The rotational force of the motor is configured to be transmitted to the handle shaft via the second one-way clutch.
- a fishing reel in which a spool for winding a fishing line rotates with respect to the reel body, such as a fishing reel disclosed in Patent Document 2, and includes a handle, a rotating shaft, a drag mechanism, a one-way clutch mechanism, and a second reel Some have a rotation prevention mechanism.
- the drag mechanism has a main driving portion that rotates integrally with the spool, and a driven portion that transmits the rotation of the main driving portion and rotates integrally with the rotation shaft to apply a rotational resistance force to the main driving portion, between the spool and the rotation shaft. Transmits rotation.
- the one-way clutch mechanism is arranged between the rotating shaft and the reel body, and allows rotation of the fishing line in the winding direction with respect to the rotating shaft, and rotation of the fishing line in the unwinding direction is the maximum setting of the drag mechanism. The rotation is prevented until a predetermined limit value set smaller than the rotational resistance force is exceeded, and the rotation is allowed if the rotational force exceeds the limit value.
- the second rotation prevention mechanism is disposed between the rotation shaft and the reel body, and allows the rotation of the fishing line in the winding direction with respect to the rotation shaft, and the rotation of the fishing line in the unwinding direction is a one-way clutch mechanism. If the rotation is allowed, the rotation is prevented.

This engagement is caused by the axial direction of the semicircular convex portion 26 a that is projected from the central portion of the drag disk 26 on the axial plane of the semicircular convex portion 30 b formed on the one end portion 30 a of the main rotating shaft 30. These planes are in contact with each other and connected.
- the outer side surface of the drag disk 26 is connected to the first drag portion 16 via two disc spring-like spring members 25 sandwiched between drag pads 27a and 27b made of a sheet having good slipperiness such as a fluororesin. It is provided facing the inside of the cylindrical drag adjustment knob 28. Thereby, the elastic force by the spring member 25 is provided in the side surface of the drag disk 26 so that addition is possible.

- One end surface of the spring member 49 is in contact with a flange portion 33 a formed at the tip of the rotation adjustment shaft 33 in the drag adjustment knob 38, and the other end surface is in contact with the inner surface of the drag adjustment knob 38. Accordingly, the drag disk 42 and the drag pad 43 are urged toward the side surface of the central portion of the reel body 12 via the rotation adjustment shaft 33.
- the one-way clutch 36 prevents the spool 14 from rotating backward, and the drag disk 42 and the drag pad 43 slip by a torque exceeding a certain level, so that the spool 14 can rotate backward.
- a coil spring 50 is provided between the outer surface of the drag adjustment knob 38 and the inner ring portion of the bearing 29 at the center of the spool 14. The coil spring 50 urges the spool 14 away from the reel body 12 to stabilize the rotation of the spool 14.
- a take-up mechanism 18 is provided on the opposite side of the reel body 12 from the second drag 17.
- the other end of the main rotary shaft 30 that is rotatable with respect to the reel body 12 is located in the winding mechanism portion 18, and the inner ring portion of the one-way clutch 40 is non-rotatably inserted into the other end 30 c.

- a winding spring 46 for rewinding is attached inside the winding ring 45, and a winding string 47 is wound around the outer periphery of the winding ring 45.
- One end of the take-up string 47 is fixed to the take-up ring 45, and the other end extends outside the housing 12c through a through hole 12d formed in the housing 12c.
- a holding member 48 for facilitating the operation is fixed to the other end of the winding string 47 as will be described later.
- the diameter of the winding ring 45 is smaller than the diameter of the spool 14 and is formed, for example, about 1/2.
- a cap member 52 is attached to the outer opening end of the cylindrical housing 12c, the central shaft 52a of the cap member 52 is inserted through the central portion of the mainspring spring 46, and the central portion of the power transmission member 44 is fitted. .
- a holding member 54 is provided at the center of the power transmission member 44 on the one-way clutch 40 side, and the power transmission member 44, the spring spring 46, and the cap portion 52 are unitized by the holding member 54 and the screw 56.
- the fishing reel 10 of this embodiment is used for fly fishing, for example, and facilitates the operation when winding the fishing line 24. That is, for example, when the fishing line 24 is wound up after the fish bites into the needle of the fishing line 24, if the holding member 48 is pulled, the winding string 47 is pulled out from the winding ring 45, and the winding ring 45. Rotates by the amount that the take-up string 47 is pulled out. The number of rotations is the number obtained by dividing the length of the winding string 47 by the circumference of the winding ring 45. At this time, the length of the fishing line 24 wound around the spool 14 is proportional to the ratio of the diameter of the spool 14 and the diameter of the winding ring 45 to the length of the winding string 47.
- the transmission member 44 When winding the fishing line 24 by the winding mechanism 18, when the winding string 47 is pulled, the transmission member 44 is rotated with the rotation of the winding ring 45, and the one-way clutch 40 is rotated with the transmission member 44.
- the rotation main shaft 30 rotates integrally with the one-way clutch 40.
- the drag disk 26 rotates, and the rotation is transmitted to the drag adjustment knob 28 via the drag pads 27a, 27b, 27c, and the spool 14 rotates.
- the upper limit of the torque transmitted at this time is limited by the transmission torque between the drag disk 26 and the drag pad 27.
- the maximum transmission torque at this time is determined by the degree of tightening between the female screw 35 of the drag adjusting knob 28 and the male screw 34 of the spool 14.
- the mainspring 46 When the take-up string 47 is pulled, the mainspring 46 is wound and rotational energy is stored. At this time, rotation is transmitted from the power transmission member 44 to the one-way clutch 40, but torque is not transmitted to the main rotary shaft 30 side by the one-way clutch 40, and the spool 14 is maintained in a stopped state.
- the torque in the reverse rotation direction of the spool 14 is determined by the torque due to the frictional resistance between the drag disk 42 and the drag pad 43. Further, the torque between the drag disk 26 and the drag pads 27a, 27b, and 27c determines the maximum value of the torque transmitted from the winding mechanism unit 18 side by the winding string 47.
- the fishing reel of this embodiment it is possible to wind up the fishing line quickly with a simple structure, and enjoy the fish suspension that does not miss the timing when the fish bites. Further, the operation is a linear and large operation of pulling the take-up yarn, so that a diligent operation such as rotation of the conventional handle is not required, and higher-speed winding is possible.
