Abstract
L'invention concerne un dispositif de freinage pour véhicules, comprenant un retardateur (4) qui présente un rotor (2) raccordé à un essieu (1) du véhicule et un stator (3) fixe. Pour pouvoir réaliser un tel dispositif de freinage de manière économique et compacte, le retardateur (4) est associé, en termes de conception, à au moins un élément frein à friction (6) doté d'un générateur de force (7), pour former une unité retardateur-frein à friction (8) mixte.
