Abstract
In der Therapie schmerzhafter Bandscheibenerkrankungen wird versucht, einer Degeneration entgegen zu wirken. Zum einen werden künstliche Nucleus Pulposus-Prothesen entwickelt und zum anderen regenerative Therapieverfahren mit dem Einsatz von Biomaterialen in der Bandscheibe verfolgt. In beiden Fällen kann es zu massiven Herniationen der genannten Materialien durch bestehende oder zugangsbedingt vergrößerte Anulus-Defekte kommen. Aus dieser Sicht ist der sichere Verschluss und die Regeneration des Anulus Fibrosus eine wichtige Voraussetzung und Weiterentwicklung zur Therapie von Bandscheibenvorfällen und degenerativen Bandscheibenvorfällen. Hierzu schlägt die Erfindung als Verbesserung vor, ein Implantat zu verwenden, welches eine Sandwich-Struktur umfasst, wobei zwischen einem zweilagigen Vlies eine Verstärkungsstruktur angeordnet ist und das Vlies insbesondere ein biokompatibles Material umfasst.
