Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé de production d'hydrocarbures aromatiques alkylés impliquant la mise en contact d'un flux d'alimentation contenant un hydrocarbure aromatique alkylable, un agent alkylant et des traces d'eau et d'impuretés avec un premier et un second catalyseurs d'alkylation, l'eau et les impuretés étant éliminées afin de rallonger la durée des cycles catalytiques desdits catalyseurs d'alkylation. L'eau et une partie des impuretés sont éliminées dans une zone de déshydratation. Une première zone d'alkylation comportant un premier catalyseur d'alkylation qui, selon certains modes de réalisation, est constitué d'un tamis moléculaire à larges pores, élimine une part importante des impuretés, par exemple les espèces azotées et d'autres espèces, et alkyle une petite partie du composé aromatique alkylable. Une seconde zone d'alkylation, qui, selon certains modes de réalisation, est constituée d'un tamis moléculaire à pores moyens, élimine une plus petite partie des impuretés et alkyle une part plus importante du composé aromatique alkylable.
