ロボットハンド
 本発明は、例えば産業用ロボット等に適用されるロボットハンドに関する。
 従来、ガラス基板や半導体基板を搬送するための産業用ロボット等に適用されるロボットハンドとして、炭素繊維強化プラスチックにより製造されるロボットハンドが知られている(例えば、特許文献1参照)。このようなロボットハンドは、例えばアルミニウムや鉄等の金属より製造されるものに比べて、軽量であり且つ曲げ剛性が高い。

 しかしながら、炭素繊維強化プラスチック自体が制振性に乏しいため、上述したような炭素繊維強化プラスチックにより製造されるロボットハンドも制振性に乏しい。このため、炭素繊維強化プラスチックを含んで構成されるロボットハンドにおいては、一定の曲げ剛性を確保しつつ制振性を向上させることが要請されている。
 そこで、本発明は、曲げ剛性を確保しつつ制振性を向上させることができるロボットハンドを提供することを課題とする。
 上記課題を解決するため、本発明に係るロボットハンドは、ロボットに組み込まれる際に保持される保持予定部を有するロボットハンドであって、互いに積層された第1及び第2の炭素繊維強化プラスチック層と、第1の炭素繊維強化プラスチック層と第2の炭素繊維強化プラスチック層との間に配置された制振弾性層と、を備え、制振弾性層は、粘弾性樹脂からなる粘弾性樹脂領域と、粘弾性樹脂の剛性よりも高い剛性を有する高剛性樹脂からなる高剛性樹脂領域と、を有し、粘弾性樹脂領域と高剛性樹脂領域とは、保持予定部において、交互に配列されていることを特徴とする。
 このロボットハンドは、ロボットに組み込まれる際に、保持予定部が保持される。このとき、第1の炭素繊維強化プラスチック層と第2の炭素繊維強化プラスチック層との間に、粘弾性樹脂からなる粘弾性樹脂領域を有する制振弾性層が配置されているので制振性が向上される。また、粘弾性樹脂領域と比較的剛性の高い高剛性樹脂領域とが、保持予定部において交互に配列されているので、曲げ剛性が確保される。
 本発明に係る炭素繊維強化プラスチック成形体においては、高剛性樹脂は、第1及び第2の炭素繊維強化プラスチック層を構成する樹脂と同一であり、高剛性樹脂領域は、第1及び第2の炭素繊維強化プラスチック層と一体的に形成されていることが好ましい。この構成によれば、第1及び第2の炭素繊維強化プラスチック層と制振弾性層とを一体的に成形する際に、第1及び第2の炭素繊維強化プラスチック層を構成する樹脂によって、容易に高剛性樹脂領域を形成することができる。
 本発明に係る炭素繊維強化プラスチック成形体においては、高剛性樹脂領域には、熱媒体を流通させるための熱媒体流路が粘弾性樹脂領域の外縁に沿って設けられていることが好ましい。この構成によれば、高剛性樹脂領域に設けられた熱媒体流路に熱媒体を流通させることによって、当該ロボットハンドの温度を好適に調整できる。特に、熱媒体流路が粘弾性樹脂領域の外縁に沿って設けられているので、粘弾性樹脂領域の温度を効率的に調整できる。
 また、上記課題を解決するために、本発明に係るロボットハンドは、互いに積層された第1及び第2の炭素繊維強化プラスチック層と、第1の炭素繊維強化プラスチック層と第2の炭素繊維強化プラスチック層との間に配置された制振弾性層と、を備え、制振弾性層は、粘弾性樹脂と粘弾性樹脂に混練された繊維状物質とを含む材料からなる粘弾性樹脂領域を有し、繊維状物質は、粘弾性樹脂の剛性よりも高い剛性を有することを特徴とする。
 この炭素繊維強化プラスチック成形体では、第1の炭素繊維強化プラスチック層と第2の炭素繊維強化プラスチック層との間に、粘弾性樹脂と粘弾性樹脂に混練され剛性が比較的高い繊維状物質とを含む材料からなる粘弾性樹脂領域を有する制振弾性層が配置されているので、曲げ剛性を確保しつつ制振性を向上させることができる。
 本発明に係るロボットハンドにおいては、制振弾性層は、粘弾性樹脂の剛性よりも高い剛性を有する高剛性樹脂からなる高剛性樹脂領域をさらに有し、粘弾性樹脂領域と高剛性樹脂領域とは、当該ロボットハンドがロボットに組み込まれる際に保持される保持予定部において、交互に配列されていることが好ましい。この構成によれば、ロボットハンドは、ロボットに組み込まれる際に保持予定部が保持されることとなる。このとき、粘弾性樹脂領域と剛性が比較的高い高剛性樹脂領域とが保持予定部において交互に配列されているので、曲げ剛性が向上される。
 本発明に係るロボットハンドにおいては、高剛性樹脂は、第1及び第2の炭素繊維強化プラスチック層を構成する樹脂と同一であり、高剛性樹脂領域は、第1及び第2の炭素繊維強化プラスチック層と一体的に形成されていることが好ましい。この構成によれば、第1及び第2の炭素繊維強化プラスチック層と制振弾性層とを一体的に成形する際に、第1及び第2の炭素繊維強化プラスチック層を構成する樹脂によって、容易に高剛性樹脂領域を形成することができる。
 本発明に係るロボットハンドにおいては、高剛性樹脂領域には、熱媒体を流通させるための熱媒体流路が粘弾性樹脂領域の外縁に沿って設けられていることが好ましい。この構成によれば、高剛性樹脂領域に設けられた熱媒体流路に熱媒体を流通させることによって、当該ロボットハンドの温度を好適に調整できる。特に、熱媒体流路が粘弾性樹脂領域の外縁に沿って設けられているので、粘弾性樹脂領域の温度を好適に調整できる。
 本発明に係るロボットハンドにおいては、繊維状物質は、カーボンナノチューブ、ケッチェンブラック、ガラス短繊維及び炭素短繊維のうちの少なくとも一つであることが好ましい。この構成によれば、カーボンナノチューブ、ケッチェンブラック、ガラス短繊維及び炭素短繊維を利用して、好適に曲げ剛性を向上させることができる。
 本発明によれば、曲げ剛性を確保しつつ制振性を向上させることができるロボットハンドを提供することが可能となる。

 以下、本発明の好適な実施形態について、図面を参照して詳細に説明する。なお、各図において同一又は相当部分には同一符号を付し、重複する説明を省略する。
[第1の実施形態]
 図1に示されるように、ロボットハンド1は、本体部Aと、本体部Aの一端から延設され、ロボットに組み込まれる際に保持される保持予定部Bと、からなる。このようなロボットハンド1は、例えばガラス基板や半導体基板等を搬送するための産業用ロボットに適用することができる。その場合、ロボットハンド1は、保持予定部Bを介して産業用ロボットに固定され、本体部A上にガラス基板や半導体基板等の搬送対象物が載置される。
 ロボットハンド1は、図1及び2に示されるように、互いに積層された炭素繊維強化プラスチック(以下、「CFRP:Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastics」という)層2及びCFRP層3と、CFRP層2とCFRP層3との間に配置された制振弾性層4と、を備えている。保持予定部Bは、CFRP層2,3及び制振弾性層4の一端部により構成されている。
 CFRP層2,3は、略V字形の長尺板状に形成されている。より具体的には、CFRP層2(CFRP層3)は、台形板状の2つの爪部21(爪部31)と、これらの爪部21(爪部31)を接続する長方形板状の接続部22(接続部32)と、から構成されている。このようなCFRP層2,3は、炭素繊維が所定の方向に配向された炭素繊維層を複数層含み、例えば、炭素繊維層にマトリックス樹脂(例えばエポキシ樹脂)を含浸してなる炭素繊維プリプレグを複数層積層し熱硬化して作製される。
 炭素繊維プリプレグとしては、例えば、グラノックプリプレグ(日本グラファイトファイバー(株)製ピッチ系炭素繊維グラノックXN-60(引張弾性率:620GPa、炭素繊維目付け:125g/m、マトリックス樹脂含有量:32重量%、1層の厚さ:0.11mm))、グラノックプリプレグ(日本グラファイトファイバー(株)製ピッチ系炭素繊維グラノックXN-80(引張弾性率:780GPa、炭素繊維目付け:125g/m、マトリックス樹脂含有量:32重量%、1層の厚さ:0.11mm))、グラノックプリプレグ(日本グラファイトファイバー(株)製ピッチ系炭素繊維グラノックXN-90(引張弾性率:860GPa、炭素繊維目付け:125g/m、マトリックス樹脂含有量:32重量%、1層の厚さ:0.105mm))、炭素繊維プリプレグ(新日本石油(株)製Y24N33C269プリプレグ、PAN系炭素繊維T700S、炭素繊維引張弾性率:230GPa、炭素繊維目付け:269g/m、マトリックス樹脂含有量:33.4重量%、1層の厚さ:0.26mm)等を使用できる。
 制振弾性層4は、粘弾性樹脂からなる2つの粘弾性樹脂領域41と、この粘弾性樹脂の剛性よりも高い剛性を有する高剛性樹脂からなる3つの高剛性樹脂領域42と、を有する。粘弾性樹脂領域41は、それぞれ、CFRP層2(CFRP層3)の一端から各爪部21(爪部31)の先端まで延在する直方体状の領域であり、互いに離間すると共に互いに略平行となっている。高剛性樹脂領域42は、各粘弾性樹脂領域41の両側にそれぞれ配置されている。つまり、粘弾性樹脂領域41と高剛性樹脂領域42とは、ロボットハンド1の全長にわたって、CFRP層2,3の長手方向に交差する方向に沿って、交互に配列されている。
 粘弾性樹脂領域41を構成する粘弾性樹脂は、CFRP層2,3のマトリックス樹脂の剛性よりも低い剛性を有する材料であって、例えばゴムやエラストマー等の粘弾性材料(柔軟性樹脂材料)とすることができる。粘弾性材料は、25℃における貯蔵弾性率が、0.1MPa以上2500MPa以下の範囲であることが好ましく、0.1MPa以上250MPa以下の範囲であることがさらに好ましく、0.1MPa以上25MPa以下の範囲であることが一層好ましい。粘弾性材料の貯蔵弾性率が、2500MPa以下であれば、十分な制振性能を得ることができ、0.1MPa以上であれば、ロボットハンド1の剛性の低下が少なく、産業用部品として要求される性能を満たすことができる。また、粘弾性材料は、炭素繊維プリプレグを熱硬化してCFRP層2,3を作製することから、その際に発生する熱に対して安定であることが好ましい。さらに、粘弾性材料は、CFRP層2,3のマトリックス樹脂との接着性に優れた材料であることが好ましい。
 以上の観点から、粘弾性樹脂領域41を構成する粘弾性材料は、例えば、スチレン-ブタジエンゴム(SBR)、クロロプレンゴム(CR)、ブチルゴム(IIR)、ニトリルゴム(NBR)、及び、エチレンプロピレンゴム(EPM,EPDM)等のゴム、並びに、ポリエステル樹脂、ビニルエステル樹脂、ポリウレタン樹脂、及び、柔軟鎖を持つポリマーであるゴムやエラストマー等を添加することによって弾性率を低くしたエポキシ樹脂等の、CFRPに比べて柔軟な材料とすることができる。
 一方、高剛性樹脂領域42を構成する高剛性樹脂は、例えばエポキシ樹脂等とすることができるが、特に、CFRP層2,3のマトリックス樹脂と同一のものとすることが好ましい。この場合、高剛性樹脂領域42は、CFRP層2,3と制振弾性層4とを一体的に成形する際に、CFRP層2,3のマトリックス樹脂によりCFRP層2,3と一体的に容易に形成される。
 以上説明したロボットハンド1は、ロボットに組み込まれる際に、保持予定部Bが保持される。このとき、CFRP層2とCFRP層3との間に、粘弾性樹脂からなる粘弾性樹脂領域41を有する制振弾性層4が配置されているので制振性が向上される。また、粘弾性樹脂領域41と剛性が比較的高い高剛性樹脂領域42とが、保持予定部Bにおいて、CFRP層2,3の長手方向に交差する方向に沿って交互に配列されているので、CFRP層2,3の長手方向に沿っての曲げ剛性が確保される。したがって、ロボットハンド1によれば、保持予定部Bにより保持され、本体部Aにガラス基板や半導体基板等が載置された時に、一定の曲げ剛性により好適に形状を維持しつつ、振動を迅速に減衰することができる。
[第2の実施形態]
 図3に示されるように、ロボットハンド1aは、第1の実施形態に係るロボットハンド1の制振弾性層4に換えて、制振弾性層4aを備えている。制振弾性層4aは、粘弾性樹脂からなる2つの粘弾性樹脂領域41aと、この粘弾性樹脂の剛性よりも高い剛性を有する高剛性樹脂からなる高剛性樹脂領域42aと、を有している。
 粘弾性樹脂領域41aは、それぞれ、CFRP層2(CFRP層3)の一端から各爪部21(爪部31)の先端近傍まで延在する台形板状の領域であり、互いに離間している。高剛性樹脂領域42aは、これらの粘弾性樹脂領域41aを取り囲むように配置されている。粘弾性樹脂領域41aと高剛性樹脂領域42aとは、少なくとも保持予定部Bにおいて、CFRP層2,3の長手方向に交差する方向に沿って、交互に配列されている。
 なお、粘弾性樹脂領域41a及び高剛性樹脂領域42aは、それぞれ、第1の実施形態に係る粘弾性樹脂領域41及び高剛性樹脂領域42と同様の材料からなるものとすることができる。
 ここで、高剛性樹脂領域42aには、冷却水や冷却ガス等の冷媒(熱媒体)を流通させるための流路(熱媒体流路)5が、2つの粘弾性樹脂領域41aの外縁Sに沿って設けられている。また、CFRP層2(CFRP層3)において流路5の始端に対応する位置には、流路5に冷媒を導入するための導入口6が設けられており、CFRP層2(CFRP層3)において流路5の終端に対応する位置には、流路5から冷媒を導出するための導出口7が設けられている。
 以上説明したロボットハンド1aも、ロボットに組み込まれる際に、保持予定部Bが保持される。このとき、CFRP層2とCFRP層3との間に、粘弾性樹脂からなる粘弾性樹脂領域41aを有する制振弾性層4aが配置されているので制振性が向上される。また、粘弾性樹脂領域41aと剛性が比較的高い高剛性樹脂領域42aとが、保持予定部Bにおいて、CFRP層2,3の長手方向に交差する方向に沿って交互に配列されているので、CFRP層2,3の長手方向に沿っての曲げ剛性が確保される。さらに、ロボットハンド1aにおいては、高剛性樹脂領域42aに設けられた流路5に冷媒を流通させることによって、ロボットハンド1aを好適に冷却できる。特に、流路5が粘弾性樹脂領域41aの外縁Sに沿って設けられているので、粘弾性樹脂領域41aを効率的に冷却できる。
 なお、流路5に流通させる熱媒体は、冷媒に限らず、ロボットハンド1a及び粘弾性樹脂領域41aを加熱するための熱媒体とすることができる。したがって、流路5に流通させる熱媒体を、冷却用のものや加熱用のものと適宜変更することによって、ロボットハンド1a及び粘弾性樹脂領域41aの温度を好適に調整することができる。
 上記第1及び第2の実施形態に係る制振弾性層4及び制振弾性層4aは、例えば、以下のような態様とすることができる。
 すなわち、制振弾性層4,4aは、図4に示されるように、CFRP層2(CFRP層3)の接続部22(接続部32)上に配置され平面視で正方形状の単一の粘弾性樹脂領域41bと、この粘弾性樹脂領域41bを取り囲むように配置された高剛性樹脂領域42bと、を有するものとすることができる。この場合も、粘弾性樹脂領域41bと高剛性樹脂領域42bとは、少なくとも保持予定部Bにおいて、CFRP層2,3の長手方向に交差する方向に沿って交互に(ここでは、高剛性樹脂領域42b、粘弾性樹脂領域41b、高剛性樹脂領域42bの順に)配列されている。
 また、制振弾性層4,4aは、図5に示されるように、互いに離間して配置された3つの粘弾性樹脂領域41cと、これらの粘弾性樹脂領域41cを取り囲むように配置された高剛性樹脂領域42cと、を有するものとすることができる。粘弾性樹脂領域41cは、それぞれ、CFRP層2(CFRP層3)の一端からCFRP層2,3の長手方向に沿って延びる直方体状の領域であり、互いに略平行となっている。この場合も、粘弾性樹脂領域41cと高剛性樹脂領域42cとは、少なくとも保持予定部Bにおいて、CFRP層2,3の長手方向に交差する方向に沿って交互に配列されている。
 なお、粘弾性樹脂領域41b,41cを構成する材料は、それぞれ、第1の実施形態に係る粘弾性樹脂領域41を構成する材料と同様である。また、高剛性樹脂領域42b,42cを構成する高剛性樹脂は、それぞれ、第1の実施形態に係る高剛性樹脂領域42を構成する高剛性樹脂と同様である。
[第3の実施形態]
 図6に示されるように、ロボットハンド1dは、本体部Aと、本体部Aの一端から延設され、ロボットに組み込まれる際に保持される保持予定部Bと、からなる。このようなロボットハンド1dも、例えばガラス基板や半導体基板等を搬送するための産業用ロボットに適用することができる。その場合、ロボットハンド1dは、保持予定部Bを介して産業用ロボットに固定され、本体部A上にガラス基板や半導体基板等の搬送対象物が載置されることとなる。
 ロボットハンド1dは、長方形状の断面を有する長尺筒状のCFRP層2dと、CFRP層2d上に積層され長方形状の断面を有する長尺筒状のCFRP層3dと、CFRP層2dとCFRP層3dとの間に配置された制振弾性層4dと、を備えている。保持予定部Bは、これらCFRP層2d,3d及び制振弾性層4dの一端部により構成されている。CFRP層2d,3dは、炭素繊維層にマトリックス樹脂(例えばエポキシ樹脂)を含浸させてなる炭素繊維プリプレグを、アルミニウム等の芯金に巻き付けて積層し、熱硬化して作製される。
 制振弾性層4dは、粘弾性樹脂からなる単一の粘弾性樹脂領域41dと、この粘弾性樹脂の剛性よりも高い剛性を有する高剛性樹脂からなる高剛性樹脂領域42dと、を有する。粘弾性樹脂領域41dは、CFRP層2d,3dの一端から他端まで延在する台形板状の領域であり、CFRP層2dの一側面上に配置されている。高剛性樹脂領域42dは、粘弾性樹脂領域41dの両側に配置されている。粘弾性樹脂領域41dと高剛性樹脂領域42dとは、ロボットハンド1dの全長にわたって、CFRP層2d,3dの長手方向に交差する方向に沿って交互に(ここでは、高剛性樹脂領域42d、粘弾性樹脂領域41d、高剛性樹脂領域42dの順に)配列されている。
 なお、粘弾性樹脂領域41d及び高剛性樹脂領域42dは、それぞれ、第1の実施形態に係る粘弾性樹脂領域41及び高剛性樹脂領域42と同様の材料からなるものとすることができる。
 以上説明したロボットハンド1dも、ロボットに組み込まれる際に、保持予定部Bが保持される。このとき、CFRP層2dとCFRP層3dとの間に、粘弾性樹脂からなる粘弾性樹脂領域41dを有する制振弾性層4dが配置されているので制振性が向上される。また、粘弾性樹脂領域41dと剛性が比較的高い高剛性樹脂領域42dとが、保持予定部Bにおいて、CFRP層2d,3dの長手方向に交差する方向に沿って交互に配列されているので、CFRP層2,3の長手方向に沿っての曲げ剛性が確保される。
 なお、制振弾性層4dは、例えば、図7に示されるように、CFRP層2dの一側面上に配置され互いに離間した2つの粘弾性樹脂領域41fと、各粘弾性樹脂領域41fの両側に配置された高剛性樹脂領域42fと、を有するものとすることができる。これらの粘弾性樹脂領域41fは、それぞれ、CFRP層2d,3dの一端から他端まで延在する直方体状の領域であり、互いに略平行となっている。この場合においても、粘弾性樹脂領域41fと高剛性樹脂領域42fとは、ロボットハンド1dの全長にわたって、CFRP層2d,3dの長手方向に交差する方向に沿って交互に配列されている。
 なお、粘弾性樹脂領域41f及び高剛性樹脂領域42fは、それぞれ、第1の実施形態に係る粘弾性樹脂領域41及び高剛性樹脂領域42と同様の材料からなる。
 ここで、上述した粘弾性樹脂領域41d,41fは、CFRP層2dの一側面上に限らず、CFRP層2dの複数の側面上に配置されてもよい。例えば、粘弾性樹脂領域41d,41fは、CFRP層2dの上面上と該上面に対向する下面上とに配置することができる。ここで、CFRP層2dの上面及び下面は、ロボットハンド1dの振動方向に交差する方向に沿って延びる面である。また、粘弾性樹脂領域41d,41fは、CFRP層2dの上面及び下面に加えて、CFRP層2dの他の2つの側面上に配置することもできる。このように、CFRP層2dの複数の側面上に粘弾性樹脂領域41d,41fを配置すれば、制振性を一層向上させることができる。
[第4の実施形態]
 図8に示されるように、ロボットハンド1Aは、本体部AAと、本体部AAの一端から延設され、ロボットに組み込まれる際に保持される保持予定部BAと、からなる。このようなロボットハンド1Aは、例えばガラス基板や半導体基板等を搬送するための産業用ロボットに適用することができる。その場合、ロボットハンド1Aは、保持予定部BAを介して産業用ロボットに固定され、本体部AA上にガラス基板や半導体基板等の搬送対象物が載置される
 ロボットハンド1Aは、図8及び9に示されるように、互いに積層された炭素繊維強化プラスチック(以下、「CFRP:Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastics」という)層2A及びCFRP層3Aと、CFRP層2AとCFRP層3Aとの間に配置された制振弾性層4Aと、を備えている。保持予定部BAは、CFRP層2A,3A及び制振弾性層4Aの一端部により構成されている。
 CFRP層2A,3Aは、略V字形の長尺板状に形成されている。より具体的には、CFRP層2A(CFRP層3A)は、台形板状の2つの爪部21A(爪部31A)と、これらの爪部21A(爪部31A)を接続する長方形板状の接続部22A(接続部32A)と、から構成されている。このようなCFRP層2A,3Aは、炭素繊維が所定の方向に配向された炭素繊維層を複数層含み、例えば、炭素繊維層にマトリックス樹脂(例えばエポキシ樹脂)を含浸してなる炭素繊維プリプレグを複数層積層し熱硬化して作製される。
 炭素繊維プリプレグとしては、例えば、グラノックプリプレグ(日本グラファイトファイバー(株)製ピッチ系炭素繊維グラノックXN-60(引張弾性率:620GPa、炭素繊維目付け:125g/m、マトリックス樹脂含有量:32重量%、1層の厚さ:0.11mm))、グラノックプリプレグ(日本グラファイトファイバー(株)製ピッチ系炭素繊維グラノックXN-80(引張弾性率:780GPa、炭素繊維目付け:125g/m、マトリックス樹脂含有量:32重量%、1層の厚さ:0.11mm))、グラノックプリプレグ(日本グラファイトファイバー(株)製ピッチ系炭素繊維グラノックXN-90(引張弾性率:860GPa、炭素繊維目付け:125g/m、マトリックス樹脂含有量:32重量%、1層の厚さ:0.105mm))、炭素繊維プリプレグ(新日本石油(株)製Y24N33C269プリプレグ、PAN系炭素繊維T700S、炭素繊維引張弾性率:230GPa、炭素繊維目付け:269g/m、マトリックス樹脂含有量:33.4重量%、1層の厚さ:0.26mm)等を使用できる。
 制振弾性層4Aは、粘弾性樹脂領域41Aを有する。粘弾性樹脂領域41Aは、CFRP層2AとCFRP層3Aとの間の領域全体にわたって配置されている。粘弾性樹脂領域41Aは、粘弾性樹脂と粘弾性樹脂に混錬された繊維状物質とを含む材料からなる。
 粘弾性樹脂領域41Aを構成する粘弾性樹脂は、CFRP層2A,3Aのマトリックス樹脂の剛性よりも低い剛性を有する材料であって、例えばゴムやエラストマー等の粘弾性材料(柔軟性樹脂材料)とすることができる。粘弾性材料は、25℃における貯蔵弾性率が、0.1MPa以上2500MPa以下の範囲であることが好ましく、0.1MPa以上250MPa以下の範囲であることがさらに好ましく、0.1MPa以上25MPa以下の範囲であることが一層好ましい。粘弾性材料の貯蔵弾性率が、2500MPa以下であれば、十分な制振性能を得ることができ、0.1MPa以上であれば、ロボットハンド1Aの剛性の低下が少なく、産業用部品として要求される性能を満たすことができる。また、粘弾性材料は、炭素繊維プリプレグを熱硬化してCFRP層2A,3Aを作製することから、その際に発生する熱に対して安定であることが好ましい。さらに、粘弾性材料は、CFRP層2A,3Aのマトリックス樹脂との接着性に優れた材料であることが好ましい。
 以上の観点から、粘弾性樹脂領域41Aを構成する粘弾性材料は、例えば、スチレン-ブタジエンゴム(SBR)、クロロプレンゴム(CR)、ブチルゴム(IIR)、ニトリルゴム(NBR)、及び、エチレンプロピレンゴム(EPM,EPDM)等のゴム、並びに、ポリエステル樹脂、ビニルエステル樹脂、ポリウレタン樹脂、及び、柔軟鎖を持つポリマーであるゴムやエラストマー等を添加することによって弾性率を低くしたエポキシ樹脂等の、CFRPに比べて柔軟な材料とすることができる。
 繊維状物質は、上記の粘弾性樹脂よりも高い剛性を有するものであって、例えばカーボンナノチューブ、ケッチェンブラック、ガラス短繊維及び炭素短繊維のうちの少なくとも一つとすることができる。カーボンナノチューブは、その繊維長手方向のヤング率が、例えば500GPa以上10000GPa以下の範囲のものとすることができる。ガラス短繊維は、その繊維長手方向のヤング率が、例えば60GPa以上90GPa以下の範囲のものとすることができる。炭素短繊維は、その繊維長手方向のヤング率が、例えば50GPa以上1000GPa以下の範囲のものとすることができる。
これらの繊維状物質の長さは、例えば1μm以上6mm以下の範囲とすることができる。繊維状物質の長さが、1μm以上であれば、繊維状物質が粘弾性樹脂におよぼすせん断力が比較的大きくなるため、ロボットハンド1Aの剛性を改善することができ、6mm以下であれば、制振弾性層4Aの貯蔵弾性率が高くなり過ぎず、十分な制振性能が得られる。また、繊維状物質の長さを繊維状物質の直径で除したアスペクト比は、5以上600以下の範囲であることが好ましく、5以上300以下の範囲であることがさらに好ましい。アスペクト比が、5以上であれば、繊維状物質同士の絡み合いが生じ易くなるため、ロボットハンド1Aの剛性を改善することができ、600以下であれば、粘弾性樹脂に繊維状物質を混練する際に、粘弾性樹脂内に繊維状物質を比較的均一に分散させることができる。
 また、粘弾性樹脂に対する繊維状物質の混練比率は、例えば0.1重量%以上30重量%以下の範囲とすることができる。粘弾性樹脂に対する繊維状物質の混練比率が、0.1重量%以上であれば、ロボットハンド1Aの剛性改善に対する効果が比較的大きく、30重量%以下であれば、十分な制振性能が得られる。
 このような制振弾性層4Aは、例えば、粘弾性樹脂の溶液に繊維状物質を添加し攪拌した後、これをシート状の型に流し込み乾燥させ、ホットプレス器にて加熱・圧縮することにより作製することができる。
 以上説明したロボットハンド1Aは、ロボットに組み込まれる際に、保持予定部BAが保持される。このとき、CFRP層2AとCFRP層3Aとの間に、粘弾性樹脂と粘弾性樹脂に混練され剛性が比較的高い繊維状物質とを含む材料からなる粘弾性樹脂領域41Aを有する制振弾性層4Aが配置されているので、曲げ剛性を確保しつつ制振性を向上させることができる。したがって、ロボットハンド1Aによれば、保持予定部BAにより保持され、本体部AAにガラス基板や半導体基板等が載置された時に、一定の曲げ剛性により好適に形状を維持しつつ、振動を迅速に減衰することができる。
[第5の実施形態]
 図10及び11に示されるように、ロボットハンド1aAは、第4の実施形態に係るロボットハンド1Aに対して、制振弾性層4Aに換えて制振弾性層4aAを備えている点で異なっている。制振弾性層4aAは、粘弾性樹脂と粘弾性樹脂に混練された繊維状物質とを含む材料からなる2つの粘弾性樹脂領域41aAと、この粘弾性樹脂の剛性よりも高い剛性を有する高剛性樹脂からなる3つの高剛性樹脂領域42aAと、を有する。
 粘弾性樹脂領域41aAは、それぞれ、CFRP層2A(CFRP層3A)の一端から各爪部21A(爪部31A)の先端まで延在する直方体状の領域であり、互いに離間すると共に互いに略平行となっている。高剛性樹脂領域42aAは、各粘弾性樹脂領域41aAの両側にそれぞれ配置されている。つまり、粘弾性樹脂領域41aAと高剛性樹脂領域42aAとは、ロボットハンド1aAの全長にわたって、CFRP層2A,3Aの長手方向に交差する方向に沿って、交互に配列されている。
 なお、粘弾性樹脂領域41aAを構成する材料は、第4の実施形態に係る粘弾性樹脂領域41Aを構成する材料と同様のものとすることができる。一方、高剛性樹脂領域42aAを構成する高剛性樹脂は、例えばエポキシ樹脂等とすることができるが、特に、CFRP層2A,3Aのマトリックス樹脂と同一のものとすることが好ましい。この場合、高剛性樹脂領域42aAは、CFRP層2A,3Aと制振弾性層4aAとを一体的に成形する際に、CFRP層2A,3Aのマトリックス樹脂によりCFRP層2A,3Aと一体的に容易に形成される
 以上説明したロボットハンド1aAも、ロボットに組み込まれる際に、保持予定部BAが保持される。このとき、CFRP層2AとCFRP層3Aとの間に、粘弾性樹脂と粘弾性樹脂に混練され剛性が比較的高い繊維状物質とを含む材料からなる粘弾性樹脂領域41aAを有する制振弾性層4aAが配置されているので、曲げ剛性を確保しつつ制振性を向上させることができる。また、粘弾性樹脂領域41aAと剛性が比較的高い高剛性樹脂領域42aAとが、保持予定部BAにおいて、CFRP層2A,3Aの長手方向に交差する方向に沿って交互に配列されているので、CFRP層2A,3Aの長手方向に沿っての曲げ剛性が向上される。
[第6の実施形態]
 図12に示されるように、ロボットハンド1bAは、第5の実施形態に係るロボットハンド1aAの制振弾性層4aAに換えて、制振弾性層4bAを備えている。制振弾性層4bAは、粘弾性樹脂と粘弾性樹脂に混練された繊維状物質とを含む材料からなる2つの粘弾性樹脂領域41bAと、粘弾性樹脂領域41bAの粘弾性樹脂の剛性よりも高い剛性を有する高剛性樹脂からなる高剛性樹脂領域42bAと、を有する。
 粘弾性樹脂領域41bAは、それぞれ、CFRP層2A(CFRP層3A)の一端から各爪部21A(爪部31A)の先端近傍まで延在する台形板状の領域であり、互いに離間している。高剛性樹脂領域42bAは、これらの粘弾性樹脂領域41bAを取り囲むように配置されている。粘弾性樹脂領域41bAと高剛性樹脂領域42bAとは、少なくとも保持予定部BAにおいて、CFRP層2A,3Aの長手方向に交差する方向に沿って、交互に配列されている。
 なお、粘弾性樹脂領域41bAを構成する材料は、第4の実施形態に係る粘弾性樹脂領域41Aを構成する材料と同様のものとすることができる。また、高剛性樹脂領域42bAを構成する高剛性樹脂は、第5の実施形態に係る高剛性樹脂領域42aAを構成する高剛性樹脂と同様のものとすることができる。
 ここで、高剛性樹脂領域42bAには、冷却水や冷却ガス等の冷媒(熱媒体)を流通させるための流路(熱媒体流路)5Aが、2つの粘弾性樹脂領域41bAの外縁SAに沿って設けられている。また、CFRP層2A(CFRP層3A)において流路5Aの始端に対応する位置には、流路5Aに冷媒を導入するための導入口6Aが設けられており、CFRP層2A(CFRP層3A)において流路5Aの終端に対応する位置には、流路5Aから冷媒を導出するための導出口7Aが設けられている。
 以上説明したロボットハンド1bAも、ロボットに組み込まれる際に、保持予定部BAが保持される。このとき、CFRP層2AとCFRP層3Aとの間に、粘弾性樹脂と粘弾性樹脂に混練され剛性が比較的高い繊維状物質とを含む材料からなる粘弾性樹脂領域41bAを有する制振弾性層4bAが配置されているので、曲げ剛性を確保しつつ制振性を向上させることができる。また、粘弾性樹脂領域41bAと剛性が比較的高い高剛性樹脂領域42bAとが、保持予定部BAにおいて、CFRP層2A,3Aの長手方向に交差する方向に沿って交互に配列されているので、CFRP層2A,3Aの長手方向に沿っての曲げ剛性が向上される。さらに、ロボットハンド1bAにおいては、高剛性樹脂領域42bAに設けられた流路5Aに冷媒を流通させることによって、ロボットハンド1bAを好適に冷却できる。特に、流路5Aが粘弾性樹脂領域41bAの外縁SAに沿って設けられているので、粘弾性樹脂領域41bAを効率的に冷却できる。
 なお、流路5Aに流通させる熱媒体は、冷媒に限らず、ロボットハンド1bA及び粘弾性樹脂領域41bAを加熱するための熱媒体とすることができる。したがって、流路5Aに流通させる熱媒体を、冷却用のものや加熱用のものと適宜変更することによって、ロボットハンド1bA及び粘弾性樹脂領域41bAの温度を好適に調整することができる。
 上記第5及び第6の実施形態に係る制振弾性層4aA及び制振弾性層4bAは、例えば、以下のような態様とすることができる。
 すなわち、制振弾性層4aA,4bAは、図13に示されるように、CFRP層2A(CFRP層3A)の接続部22A(接続部32A)上に配置され平面視で正方形状の単一の粘弾性樹脂領域41cAと、この粘弾性樹脂領域41cAを取り囲むように配置された高剛性樹脂領域42cAと、を有するものとすることができる。この場合も、粘弾性樹脂領域41cAと高剛性樹脂領域42cAとは、少なくとも保持予定部BAにおいて、CFRP層2A,3Aの長手方向に交差する方向に沿って交互に(ここでは、高剛性樹脂領域42cA、粘弾性樹脂領域41cA、高剛性樹脂領域42cAの順に)配列されている。
 また、制振弾性層4aA,4bAは、図14に示されるように、互いに離間して配置された3つの粘弾性樹脂領域41dAと、これらの粘弾性樹脂領域41dAを取り囲むように配置された高剛性樹脂領域42dAと、を有するものとすることができる。粘弾性樹脂領域41dAは、それぞれ、CFRP層2A(CFRP層3A)の一端からCFRP層2A,3Aの長手方向に沿って延びる直方体状の領域であり、互いに略平行となっている。この場合も、粘弾性樹脂領域41dAと高剛性樹脂領域42dAとは、少なくとも保持予定部BAにおいて、CFRP層2A,3Aの長手方向に交差する方向に沿って交互に配列されている。
 なお、粘弾性樹脂領域41cA,41dAを構成する材料は、それぞれ、第4の実施形態に係る粘弾性樹脂領域41Aを構成する材料と同様である。また、高剛性樹脂領域42cA,42dAを構成する高剛性樹脂は、それぞれ、第5の実施形態に係る高剛性樹脂領域42aAを構成する高剛性樹脂と同様である。
[第7の実施形態]
 図15に示されるように、ロボットハンド1fAは、本体部AAと、本体部AAの一端から延設され、ロボットに組み込まれる際に保持される保持予定部BAと、からなる。このようなロボットハンド1fAも、例えばガラス基板や半導体基板等を搬送するための産業用ロボットに適用することができる。その場合、ロボットハンド1fAは、保持予定部BAを介して産業用ロボットに固定され、本体部AA上にガラス基板や半導体基板等の搬送対象物が載置されることとなる。
 ロボットハンド1fAは、長方形状の断面を有する長尺筒状のCFRP層2fAと、CFRP層2fA上に積層され長方形状の断面を有する長尺筒状のCFRP層3fAと、CFRP層2fAとCFRP層3fAとの間に配置された制振弾性層4fAと、を備えている。保持予定部BAは、これらCFRP層2fA,3fA及び制振弾性層4fAの一端部により構成されている。CFRP層2fA,3fAは、炭素繊維層にマトリックス樹脂(例えばエポキシ樹脂)を含浸させてなる炭素繊維プリプレグを、アルミニウム等の芯金に巻き付けて積層し、熱硬化して作製される。
 制振弾性層4fAは、粘弾性樹脂と粘弾性樹脂に混練された繊維状物質とを含む材料からなる単一の粘弾性樹脂領域41fAと、この粘弾性樹脂の剛性よりも高い剛性を有する高剛性樹脂からなる高剛性樹脂領域42fAと、を有する。粘弾性樹脂領域41fAは、CFRP層2fA,3fAの一端から他端まで延在する台形板状の領域であり、CFRP層2fAの一側面上に配置されている。高剛性樹脂領域42fAは、粘弾性樹脂領域41fAの両側に配置されている。粘弾性樹脂領域41fAと高剛性樹脂領域42fAとは、ロボットハンド1fAの全長にわたって、CFRP層2fA,3fAの長手方向に交差する方向に沿って交互に(ここでは、高剛性樹脂領域42fA、粘弾性樹脂領域41fA、高剛性樹脂領域42fAの順に)配列されている。
 なお、粘弾性樹脂領域41fA及び高剛性樹脂領域42fAは、それぞれ、第5の実施形態に係る粘弾性樹脂領域41aA及び高剛性樹脂領域42aAと同様の材料からなるものとすることができる。
 以上説明したロボットハンド1fAも、ロボットに組み込まれる際に、保持予定部BAが保持される。このとき、CFRP層2fAとCFRP層3fAとの間に、粘弾性樹脂と粘弾性樹脂に混練され剛性が比較的高い繊維状物質とを含む材料からなる粘弾性樹脂領域41fAを有する制振弾性層4fAが配置されているので、曲げ剛性を確保しつつ制振性を向上させることができる。また、粘弾性樹脂領域41fAと剛性が比較的高い高剛性樹脂領域42fAとが、保持予定部BAにおいて、CFRP層2fA,3fAの長手方向に交差する方向に沿って交互に配列されているので、CFRP層2fA,3fAの長手方向に沿っての曲げ剛性が向上される。
 なお、制振弾性層4fAは、例えば、図16に示されるように、CFRP層2fAの一側面上に配置され互いに離間した2つの粘弾性樹脂領域41gAと、各粘弾性樹脂領域41gAの両側に配置された高剛性樹脂領域42gAと、を有するものとすることができる。これらの粘弾性樹脂領域41gAは、それぞれ、CFRP層2fA,3fAの一端から他端まで延在する直方体状の領域であり、互いに略平行となっている。この場合においても、粘弾性樹脂領域41gAと高剛性樹脂領域42gAとは、ロボットハンド1fAの全長にわたって、CFRP層2fA,3fAの長手方向に交差する方向に沿って交互に配列されている。
 なお、粘弾性樹脂領域41gA及び高剛性樹脂領域42gAは、それぞれ、第5の実施形態に係る粘弾性樹脂領域41aA及び高剛性樹脂領域42aAと同様の材料からなる。
 ここで、上述した粘弾性樹脂領域41fA,41gAは、CFRP層2fAの一側面上に限らず、CFRP層2fAの複数の側面上に配置されてもよい。例えば、粘弾性樹脂領域41fA,41gAは、CFRP層2fAの上面上と該上面に対向する下面上とに配置することができる。ここで、CFRP層2fAの上面及び下面は、ロボットハンド1fAの振動方向に交差する方向に沿って延びる面である。また、粘弾性樹脂領域41fA,41gAは、CFRP層2fAの上面及び下面に加えて、CFRP層2fAの他の2つの側面上に配置することもできる。このように、CFRP層2fAの複数の側面上に粘弾性樹脂領域41fA,41gAを配置すれば、制振性を一層向上させることができる。
 本発明によれば、曲げ剛性を確保しつつ制振性を向上させることができるロボットハンドを提供することが可能となる。

Claims (8)

  1.  ロボットに組み込まれる際に保持される保持予定部を有するロボットハンドであって、
     互いに積層された第1及び第2の炭素繊維強化プラスチック層と、
     前記第1の炭素繊維強化プラスチック層と前記第2の炭素繊維強化プラスチック層との間に配置された制振弾性層と、を備え、
     前記制振弾性層は、粘弾性樹脂からなる粘弾性樹脂領域と、前記粘弾性樹脂の剛性よりも高い剛性を有する高剛性樹脂からなる高剛性樹脂領域と、を有し、
     前記粘弾性樹脂領域と前記高剛性樹脂領域とは、前記保持予定部において、交互に配列されていることを特徴とするロボットハンド。
  2.  前記高剛性樹脂は、前記第1及び前記第2の炭素繊維強化プラスチック層を構成する樹脂と同一であり、
     前記高剛性樹脂領域は、前記第1及び前記第2の炭素繊維強化プラスチック層と一体的に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1記載のロボットハンド。
  3.  前記高剛性樹脂領域には、熱媒体を流通させるための熱媒体流路が前記粘弾性樹脂領域の外縁に沿って設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載のロボットハンド。
  4.  互いに積層された第1及び第2の炭素繊維強化プラスチック層と、
     前記第1の炭素繊維強化プラスチック層と前記第2の炭素繊維強化プラスチック層との間に配置された制振弾性層と、を備え、
     前記制振弾性層は、粘弾性樹脂と前記粘弾性樹脂に混練された繊維状物質とを含む材料からなる粘弾性樹脂領域を有し、
     前記繊維状物質は、前記粘弾性樹脂の剛性よりも高い剛性を有することを特徴とするロボットハンド。
  5.  前記制振弾性層は、前記粘弾性樹脂の剛性よりも高い剛性を有する高剛性樹脂からなる高剛性樹脂領域をさらに有し、
     前記粘弾性樹脂領域と前記高剛性樹脂領域とは、当該ロボットハンドがロボットに組み込まれる際に保持される保持予定部において、交互に配列されていることを特徴とする請求項4記載のロボットハンド。
  6.  前記高剛性樹脂は、前記第1及び前記第2の炭素繊維強化プラスチック層を構成する樹脂と同一であり、
     前記高剛性樹脂領域は、前記第1及び前記第2の炭素繊維強化プラスチック層と一体的に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項5記載のロボットハンド。
  7.  前記高剛性樹脂領域には、熱媒体を流通させるための熱媒体流路が前記粘弾性樹脂領域の外縁に沿って設けられていることを特徴とする請求項5又は6記載のロボットハンド。
  8.  前記繊維状物質は、カーボンナノチューブ、ケッチェンブラック、ガラス短繊維及び炭素短繊維のうちの少なくとも一つであることを特徴とする請求項4~7の何れか一項記載のロボットハンド。
