Abstract
차량 전방 범퍼 하부에 형성되는 범퍼 하부 보강재(bumper Lower stiffener) 및 그 제조방법에 관한 것으로, 보다 상세하게는 열간 성형된 강관을 이용하여 제조되는 범퍼 하부 보강재 및 그 제조방법에 관하여 개시한다. 본 발명은 이러한 범퍼 하부 보강재의 수평부재를 제조하기 위한 방법으로, 소입성 원소 첨가 강관을 일정 길이로 절단하는 컷팅 단계; 컷팅된 강관을 성형온도로 가열하는 열처리 단계; 상기 가열된 강관을 프레스 금형으로 열간 성형하여 양측에 평면부를 구비하는 수평부재의 형상으로 성형하는 열간 성형 단계; 및 상기 프레스 금형이 닫힌 상태에서 성형된 수평부재를 급냉시키는 냉각 단계;를 포함하는 범퍼 하부 보강재 제조방법을 제공한다.
