Abstract

 製造工程が容易であり、しかも、ボルトの設置向きによってヒューズエレメントの設計自由度が制限されず、金型構造も複雑化しないヒューズユニットを提供する。 第1端子用接続部(4)及び第2端子用接続部(5)が形成されたヒューズエレメント(2)と、ヒューズエレメント(2)の外面にインサート成形によって形成された絶縁樹脂部(20)とを備えたヒューズユニット(1A)であって、ヒューズエレメント(2)の第1端子用接続部(4)及び第2端子用接続部(5)にボルト螺入孔(10)が形成された。ボルト螺入孔(10)にボルト(30)を螺入することによってボルト(30)をヒューズエレメント(2)に仮固定し、ボルト(30)を仮固定したヒューズエレメント(2)をインサート部品としてインサート成形して絶縁樹脂部(20)を形成した。

Description

ヒューズユニット
 本発明は、端子用接続部にボルトが固定され、ボルトを用いて端子が固定されるヒューズユニットに関する。
 この種の第1従来例のヒューズユニットとして、特許文献1に開示されたものがある。このヒューズユニット50は、図11に示すように、導電性金属板から形成されたヒューズエレメント51と、このヒューズエレメント51をインサート部品としてインサート成形によって形成された絶縁樹脂部60とを備えている。
 ヒューズエレメント51には、図13に詳しく示すように、バッテリポスト(図示せず)にバッテリ接続用端子(図示せず)を介して固定される給電用接続部52と、ボルト70を有する第1端子用接続部53と、複数のタブ状の第2端子用接続部54と、給電用接続部52と第1端子用接続部や各第2端子用接続部54との間に配置される複数の可溶部55とが形成されている。
 ヒューズエレメント51の第1端子用接続部53には、U字状のボルト挿入孔53aが形成されている。このボルト挿入孔53aの裏面側には、図14に詳しく示すように、絶縁樹脂部20によって圧入スペース61が形成されている。
 ボルト挿入孔53aにロッド部70bが挿入されたボルト70は、その頭部70aが圧入スペース61に圧入されることによって固定されている(図12参照)。
 また、第2従来例としては、図15に示すように、ヒューズエレメント80に金型の押さえピン(図示せず)が進入できるピン進入口80aを形成し、ヒューズエレメント80と共に押さえピン(図示せず)で位置決めされたボルト70Aをインサート部品としてインサート成形によって絶縁樹脂部(図示せず)を形成する。インサートされたボルト70Aは、周囲に充填される絶縁樹脂によって固定される。

 しかしながら、前記第1従来例では、絶縁樹脂部60をインサート成形した後に、ボルト70を圧入する工程が必要であるため、製造工程が面倒である。
 また、第2従来例では、金型の押さえピン(図示せず)で位置決めできるボルト70Aの向きが限られる。例えば、図15のように、上下方向に移動するボルト70Aを位置決めするようにすると、左右方向に移動するボルト70Bを金型側で位置決めできないため、ヒューズエレメント80の設計自由度が制限を受ける。又、金型に押さえピンを設ける必要があるため、金型構造が複雑化する。
 そこで、本発明は、前記した課題を解決すべくなされたものであり、製造工程が容易であり、しかも、ボルトの設置向きによってヒューズエレメントの設計自由度が制限されず、金型構造も複雑化しないヒューズユニットを提供することを目的とする。
 第1の発明は、端子用接続部が形成されたヒューズエレメントと、前記ヒューズエレメントの外面に配置された絶縁樹脂部とを備えたヒューズユニットであって、前記ヒューズエレメントに、前記端子用接続部にボルトを仮固定するボルト仮固定手段が設けられたことを特徴とする。
 第2の発明は、第1の発明のヒューズユニットであって、前記ボルト仮固定手段は、前記端子用接続部に設けられたボルト螺入孔であることを特徴とする。
 第3の発明は、第1の発明のヒューズユニットであって、前記ボルト仮固定手段は、前記端子用接続部に設けられ、前記ヒューズエレメントの端面に開放口を有するボルト孔と、前記ボルト孔にスライド挿入された前記ボルトの頭部を保持するボルト保持部とを備えたことを特徴とする。
 第4の発明は、第3の発明のヒューズユニットであって、前記ボルト保持部は、前記ヒューズエレメントを折り曲げることによって形成されたことを特徴とする。
 第1の発明によれば、ヒューズエレメントにボルトを仮固定できるため、ヒューズエレメントとボルトを共にインサート部品としてインサート成形によって絶縁樹脂部を形成することができる。従って、インサート成形後にボルト圧入を行う必要がない。又、ヒューズエレメント自体でボルトを仮固定できるため、ボルトの向きに係わらずボルトを仮固定することができる。以上より、製造工程が容易で、しかも、ボルトの設置向きによってヒューズエレメントの設計自由度が制限されず、金型構造も複雑化しない。
 第2の発明によれば、第1の発明の効果に加え、ボルトをボルト螺入孔に螺入するだけでボルトを仮固定できるため、仮固定が容易である。
 第3の発明によれば、第1の発明の効果に加え、ボルトをボルト孔にスライド挿入するだけでボルトを仮固定できるため、仮固定が容易である。
 第4の発明によれば、第3の発明の効果に加え、ヒューズエレメントを折り曲げ加工によってボルト保持部を形成できるため、製造工程や部品を追加することなく簡単に作製できる。

 以下、本発明の実施形態を図面に基づいて説明する。
(第1実施形態)
 図1(a)~図3は本発明の第1実施形態を示し、図1(a)はヒューズユニット1Aの斜視図、図1(b)は図1(a)のA-A線拡大断面図、図2はボルト30が仮固定されたヒューズエレメント2の斜視図、図3はボルト30が仮固定されたヒューズエレメント2の裏面図である。
 図1(a)に示すように、ヒューズユニット1Aは、導電性金属板(バスバー)から形成されたヒューズエレメント2と、このヒューズエレメント2の外面に配置された絶縁樹脂部20とを備えている。
 ヒューズエレメント2には、図2及び図3に詳しく示すように、バッテリポスト(図示せず)にバッテリ接続用端子(図示せず)を介して固定される給電用接続部3と、ボルト30を有する第1端子用接続部4と、4つの第2端子用接続部5と、給電用接続部3と第1端子用接続部4の間に配置される第1可溶部6と、給電用接続部3と各第2端子用接続部5の間に配置される4つの第2可溶部7とが形成されている。
 給電用接続部3には、ボルト挿通孔3aが形成されている。このボルト挿通孔3aを利用してバッテリ接続用端子(図示せず)が固定される。
 第1端子用接続部4と各第2端子用接続部5には、仮ボルト固定手段であるボルト螺入孔10がそれぞれ形成されている。つまり、各ボルト螺入孔10の内面にはネジ溝(特に、符号を付さず)が形成されている。各ボルト螺入孔10にボルト30が螺入されている。ボルト30は、頭部31と外周にネジ溝が形成されたロッド部32とから構成されている。ボルト30は、ボルト螺入孔10に螺入されることによってヒューズエレメント2単体で仮固定することができる。
 絶縁樹脂部20は、ヒューズエレメント2とこれに仮固定されたボルト30とを共にインサート部品としたインサート成形によって形成されている。絶縁樹脂部20は、給電用接続部3、第1端子用接続部4、第2端子用接続部5、第1可溶部6及び第2可溶部7以外の箇所を基本的に覆っている。又、絶縁樹脂部20は、図1(b)に詳しく示すように、各ボルト30の頭部31の周辺にも隙間なく配置されている。各ボルト30の頭部31は、絶縁樹脂部20によって回転できないように固定されている。
 第1端子用接続部4及び各第2端子用接続部5には、ボルト30に挿入された端子(図示せず)がナット(図示せず)で締結されることによって固定される。
 次に、上記構成のヒューズユニット1Aの製造方法を簡単に説明する。先ず、導電性金属板材を打ち抜き加工し、且つ、折り曲げ加工することによって所望形態のヒューズエレメント2を作製する。
 次に、第1端子用接続部4及び第2端子用接続部5の各孔にネジ溝を切ってボルト螺入孔10を形成する。
 次に、各ボルト螺入孔10にボルト30をそれぞれ螺入する。これにより、図2及び図3に示すように、各ボルト30がヒューズエレメント2に仮固定される。
 次に、ボルト30が仮固定されたヒューズエレメント2をインサート部品としてインサート成形し、ヒューズエレメント2の外面に絶縁樹脂部20を形成する。以上より、図1(a)、図1(b)に示すヒューズユニット1Aの製造が完了する。
 以上説明したように、ヒューズエレメント2の第1端子用接続部4及び第2端子用接続部5にボルト仮固定手段であるボルト螺入孔10が設けられているので、ヒューズエレメント2にボルト30を仮固定できるため、上記したようにヒューズエレメント2とボルト30を共にインサート部品としてインサート成形によって絶縁樹脂部20を形成することができる。従って、インサート成形後にボルト圧入を行う必要がない。又、ヒューズエレメント2単体でボルト30を仮固定できるため、ボルト30の向きに係わらずボルト30を仮固定することができる。以上より、製造工程が容易で、しかも、ボルト30の設置向きによってヒューズエレメント2の設計自由度が制限されず、金型構造も複雑化しない。
 又、ボルト30は、ネジ締結力によってヒューズエレメント2に固定されると共に周囲に充填される絶縁樹脂の保持力によって絶縁樹脂部20に固定されるため、従来例に較べて、ボルト30の固定強度が向上する。
 更に、ヒューズエレメント2に、従来例のようなピン進入口を設ける必要がない。
 ボルト仮固定手段は、第1端子用接続部4及び第2端子用接続部5に設けられたボルト螺入孔10であるので、ボルト30をボルト螺入孔10に螺入するだけでボルト30を仮固定できるため、仮固定が容易である。
(第2実施形態)
 図4(a)~図9(b)に本発明の第2実施形態を示し、図4(a)はヒューズユニット1Bの斜視図、図4(b)は図4(a)のB-B線断面図、図5はヒューズエレメント2の折り曲げ加工前の斜視図、図6(a)はヒューズエレメント2の斜視図、図6(b)はヒューズエレメント2の第1端子用接続部4の正面図、図6(c)はヒューズエレメント2の第1端子用接続部4の下面図、図7(a)はヒューズエレメント2の第1端子用接続部4にボルト30Aを仮固定する過程を示す斜視図、図7(b)はヒューズエレメント2の第1端子用接続部4にボルト30Aを仮固定した状態を示す斜視図、図8(a)はボルト30Aが仮固定された第1端子用接続部4の平面図、図8(b)はボルト30Aが仮固定された第1端子用接続部4の下面図、図9(a)はボルト30Aの斜視図、図9(b)はボルト30Aの正面図である。
 図4(a)、図4(b)に示すように、ヒューズユニット1Bは、導電性金属板(バスバー)から形成されたヒューズエレメント2と、このヒューズエレメント2の外面に配置された絶縁樹脂部20とを備えている。
 ヒューズエレメント2には、図6(a)に詳しく示すように、バッテリポスト(図示せず)にバッテリ接続用端子(図示せず)を介して固定される給電用接続部3と、ボルト30Aを有する第1端子用接続部4と、4つの第2端子用接続部5と、給電用接続部3と第1端子用接続部4の間に配置される第1可溶部6と、給電用接続部3と各第2端子用接続部5の間に配置される4つの第2可溶部7とが形成されている。
 給電用接続部3には、ボルト挿通孔3aが形成されている。このボルト挿通孔3aを利用してバッテリ接続用端子(図示せず)が固定される。
 第1端子用接続部4には、図6(a)~図6(c)に詳しく示すように、ボルト仮固定手段8Aが形成されている。ボルト仮固定手段8Aは、第1端子用接続部4に設けられ、ヒューズエレメント2の端面に開放口を有するボルト孔8aと、ボルト孔8aにスライド挿入されたボルト30Aを保持するボルト保持部9とを備えている。ボルト孔8aは、上方から見てU字状の溝である。ボルト保持部9は、第1端子用接続部4の両側端から延設された一対の挟持片9aを互いに対向する向きに折り曲げることによって形成されている。一対の挟持片9aの互いに対向する端面間は、入口側と最奥位置の途中位置に幅狭の箇所が形成されている。最奥位置の端面同士の幅寸法は、ボルト30Aの頭部31の環状溝31aの内面幅と同じ寸法に、幅狭位置の端面同士の幅寸法は、ボルト30Aの頭部31の環状溝31aの内面幅より若干狭く設定されている。
 第1端子用接続部4のボルト孔8aと一対の挟持片9a内に、図7(a)、図7(b)に示すように、ボルト30Aがスライド挿入されている。スライド挿入されたボルト30Aは、図8(a)、図8(b)に詳しく示すように、そのロッド部32がボルト孔8aに挿入され、その頭部31の環状溝31aに一対の挟持片9aが入り込んでいる。つまり、ボルト30Aは、一対の挟持片9aがボルト30Aの頭部31の環状溝31aに係合することによって仮固定されている。
 ボルト30Aは、図9(a)、図9(b)に示すように、頭部31と外周ネジ溝が形成されたロッド部32とから構成されている。頭部31の側面には、環状溝31aが形成されている。
 絶縁樹脂部20は、ヒューズエレメント2とこれに仮固定されたボルト30Aとを共にインサート部品としてインサート成形によって形成されている。絶縁樹脂部20は、給電用接続部3、第1端子用接続部4、第2端子用接続部5、第1可溶部6及び第2可溶部7以外の箇所を基本的に覆っている。又、絶縁樹脂部20は、図4(b)に詳しく示すように、ボルト30Aの頭部31の周辺にも隙間なく配置されている。ボルト30Aの頭部31は、絶縁樹脂部20によって回転できないように固定されている。
 第1端子用接続部4には、ボルト30Aに挿入された端子(図示せず)がナット(図示せず)で締結されることによって固定される。
 次に、上記構成のヒューズユニット1Bの製造方法を簡単に説明する。先ず、図5に示すように、導電性金属板材を打ち抜き加工してフラット形状のヒューズエレメント2を作製する。次に、図6(a)に示すように、これを折り曲げ加工することによって所望形態のヒューズエレメント2を作製する。この折り曲げ加工に際して、一対の挟持片9aも折り曲げられる。
 次に、図7(a)に示すように、第1端子用接続部4のボルト孔8aと一対の挟持片9a間にボルト30Aをスライド挿入する。これにより、図7(b)、図8(a)~図8(b)に示すように、ボルト30Aがヒューズエレメント2に仮固定される。
 次に、ボルト30Aが仮固定されたヒューズエレメント2をインサート部品としてインサート成形し、ヒューズエレメント2の外面に絶縁樹脂部20を形成する。以上より、図4(a)、図4(b)に示すヒューズユニット1Bの製造が完了する。
 以上説明したように、ヒューズエレメント2の第1端子用接続部4にボルト仮固定手段8Aであるボルト孔8aとボルト保持部9が設けられているので、ヒューズエレメント2にボルト30Aを仮固定できるため、ヒューズエレメント2とボルト30Aを共にインサート部品としてインサート成形によって絶縁樹脂部20を形成することができる。従って、インサート成形後にボルト圧入を行う必要がない。又、ヒューズエレメント2単体でボルト30Aを仮固定できるため、ボルト30Aの向きに係わらずボルト30Aを仮固定することができる。以上より、製造工程が容易で、しかも、ボルト30Aの設置向きによってヒューズエレメント2の設計自由度が制限されず、金型構造も複雑化しない。
 又、ボルト30Aは、ボルト保持部9の保持力によってヒューズエレメント2に固定されると共に周囲に充填される絶縁樹脂の保持力によって絶縁樹脂部20に固定されるため、従来例に較べて、ボルト30Aの固定強度が向上する。
 ボルト仮固定手段8Aは、第1端子用接続部4に設けられ、ヒューズエレメント2の端面に開放口を有するボルト孔8aと、ボルト孔8aにスライド挿入されたボルト30Aの頭部31を保持するボルト保持部9とを備えたので、ボルト30Aをボルト孔8aと一対の挟持片9a間にスライド挿入するだけでボルト30Aを仮固定できるため、仮固定が容易である。
 ボルト保持部9は、ヒューズエレメント2より延設された一対の挟持片9aを折り曲げることによって形成されたので、ヒューズエレメント2の折り曲げ加工によってボルト保持部9を形成できるため、製造工程や部品を追加することなく簡単に作製できる。
 第2実施形態では、第1端子用接続部4にボルト仮固定手段8Aを設けたが、各第2端子用接続部5にも同様にボルト仮固定手段8Aを設けても良い。
(第3実施形態)
 図10は本発明の第3実施形態に係る、ヒューズエレメント2の第1端子用接続部4の要部斜視図である。
 第3実施形態においても、図10に示すように、ヒューズエレメント2の第1端子用接続部4には、第2実施形態と同様にボルト仮固定手段8Bが設けられている。そして、ボルト仮固定手段8Bは、第1端子用接続部4に設けられ、ヒューズエレメント2の端面に開放口を有するボルト孔8aと、ボルト孔8aにスライド挿入されたボルト30を保持するボルト保持部9Aとを備えているが、そのボルト保持部9Aの構成が相違する。
 ボルト保持部9Aは、第1端子用接続部4の両側端から延設された一対の圧入片9bを所定の幅寸法の箇所で互いに向する向きに折り曲げることによって形成されている。第1端子用接続部4と各圧入片9b間の幅寸法は、ボルト30の頭部31の高さ寸法より若干だけ大きく設定されている。
 又、各圧入片9bには、ボルト30の過剰進入を阻止するストッパ部9cがそれぞれ付設されている。
 第1端子用接続部4のボルト孔8aと一対の圧入片9bの内部スペースに、図7(a)、図7(b)に示すように、ボルト30がスライド挿入されている。スライド挿入されたボルト30は、そのロッド部32がボルト孔8aに挿入され、その頭部31が一対の圧入片9b内が圧入される。つまり、ボルト30は、圧入によってヒューズエレメント2に仮固定される。
 ボルト30は、頭部31と外周にネジ溝が形成されたロッド部32とから構成されている。
 他の構成は、前記実施形態と同様であるため、重複説明を省略する。
 この第3実施形態においても、前記第2実施形態と同様の製造手順でヒューズユニット(図示せず)を製造できる。
 以上説明したように、ヒューズエレメント2の第1端子用接続部4にボルト仮固定手段8Bであるボルト孔8aとボルト保持部9Aが設けられているので、ヒューズエレメント2にボルト30を仮固定できるため、ヒューズエレメント2とボルト30を共にインサート部品としてインサート成形によって絶縁樹脂部(図示せず)を形成することができる。従って、インサート成形後にボルト圧入を行う必要がない。又、ヒューズエレメント2単体でボルト30を仮固定できるため、ボルト30の向きに係わらずボルト30を仮固定することができる。以上より、製造工程が容易で、しかも、ボルト30の設置向きによってヒューズエレメント2の設計自由度が制限されず、金型構造も複雑化しない。
 又、ボルト30は、ボルト保持部9Aの保持力によってヒューズエレメント2に固定されると共に周囲に充填される絶縁樹脂の保持力によって絶縁樹脂部(図示せず)に固定されるため、従来例に較べて、ボルト30の固定強度が向上する。
 ボルト仮固定手段8Bは、第1端子用接続部4に設けられ、ヒューズエレメント2の端面に開放口を有するボルト孔8aと、ボルト孔8aにスライド挿入されたボルト30の頭部31を保持するボルト保持部9Aとを備えたので、ボルト30をボルト孔8a及び一対の圧入片9b内に挿入するだけでボルト30を仮固定できるため、仮固定が容易である。
 ボルト保持部9Aは、ヒューズエレメント2より延設された一対の圧入片9bを折り曲げることによって形成されたので、製造工程や部品を追加することなく簡単に作製できる。
 第3実施形態では、第1端子用接続部4にボルト仮固定手段8Bを設けたが、各第2端子用接続部5にも同様にボルト仮固定手段8Bを設けても良い。
 本発明を詳細にまた特定の実施態様を参照して説明したが、本発明の精神と範囲を逸脱することなく様々な変更や修正を加えることができることは当業者にとって明らかである。

  1.  端子用接続部が形成されたヒューズエレメントと、前記ヒューズエレメントの外面に配置された絶縁樹脂部とを備えたヒューズユニットであって、
     前記ヒューズエレメントに、前記端子用接続部にボルトを仮固定するボルト仮固定手段が設けられたヒューズユニット。
  2.  請求項1記載のヒューズユニットであって、
     前記ボルト仮固定手段は、前記端子用接続部に設けられたボルト螺入孔であるヒューズユニット。
  3.  請求項1記載のヒューズユニットであって、
     前記ボルト仮固定手段は、前記端子用接続部に設けられ、前記ヒューズエレメントの端面に開放口を有するボルト孔と、前記ボルト孔にスライド挿入された前記ボルトの頭部を保持するボルト保持部とを備えたヒューズユニット。
  4.  請求項3に記載のヒューズユニットであって、
     前記ボルト保持部は、前記ヒューズエレメントを折り曲げることによって形成されたヒューズユニット。
