　特許文献１に開示された発明に係る着用物品では、クロッチ本体が弾性ウエストパネルの内面に取り付けられているので、吸液性構造体に排泄された排泄物が肌に付着し、着用者に不快感を与えたり、肌のかぶれの原因ともなりうる。また、前後ウエスト域に流入した排泄物が前後ウエスト域から外部へ漏れ出るおそれがある。
　本発明の課題は、従来の着用物品の改良であって、着用中に排泄物が肌に付着しないように吸液性構造体と肌とを離間させるとともに、前後ウエスト域に流入した排泄物を吸収、保持するための排泄物収容部を有する着用物品の提供にある。
　前記課題を解決するために、本発明が対象とするのは、縦方向及びそれに直交する横方向と、前ウエスト域と、後ウエスト域と、前記前後ウエスト域間に位置するクロッチ域と、前記前後ウエスト域を画成する環状の弾性ウエストパネルと、前記弾性ウエストパネルに取り付けられた、前記前後ウエスト域の一部および前記クロッチ域を画成するクロッチ本体とを含む着用物品である。
　本発明の特徴とするところは、前記クロッチ本体が、前記前ウエスト域に位置する前端部と、前記後ウエスト域に位置する後端部とを有し、前記前後端部のうちの少なくともいずれか一方が、前記クロッチ本体の前記横方向における中央領域に非接合域を画成し、前記クロッチ域へ向かって開口して凹となる接合域を介して前記弾性ウエストパネルの外面に取り付けられており、前記非接合域の画成された領域において、前記弾性ウエストパネルと前記クロッチ本体との間に排泄物収容部が形成されていることにある。
　本発明は、前記特徴とする構成のほかに、以下の好ましい実施の態様を含む。
（１）前記クロッチ本体が、前記クロッチ域の両側において前記縦方向に延びる一対のサイド弾性部を有し、前記クロッチ域の内面に前記縦方向に延びる吸液性構造体が配置されており、前記非接合域が、前記一対のサイド弾性部間における前記吸液性構造体の存在域に画成されている。
（２）前記弾性ウエストパネルにおける前記非接合域の画成された領域には、不透液性で透湿性のプラスチックシート又は繊維不織布シートから形成された防漏シートが配置されている。
　本発明によれば、前後ウエスト域のうちの少なくともいずれか一方において、非接合域が画成されており、弾性ウエストパネルとクロッチ本体との間に排泄物収容部が形成されているので、該ウエスト域に滲出、流入した排泄物が外部に漏れ出ることを防止することができる。

　＜第１実施形態＞
　図１は、本発明に係る使い捨て着用物品の一例として示す、使い捨ておむつ１０の斜視図、図２は、おむつ１０のサイドシーム部１８を剥離して前後方向に伸展した状態をその内面から見た一部破断平面図、図３は、図２のＩＩＩ－ＩＩＩ線断面図、図４は、図２のＩＶ－ＩＶ線断面図、図５は、図１のＶ－Ｖ線模式的断面図、図６は、前後接合域６２，６７の態様を示すおむつの展開平面図である。図６では、説明の便宜上、弾性ウエストパネル１６，１７およびクロッチ本体１２を仮想線で示している。
　図１及び２に示すとおり、使い捨ておむつ１０は、縦方向Ｙ及びそれに直交する横方向Ｘと、その横方向の幅寸法を二分する仮想中心線Ｐ－Ｐと、肌対向面及びそれに対向する非肌対向面と、環状の弾性ウエストパネル１１と、弾性ウエストパネル１１の非肌対向面側に取り付けられたクロッチ本体１２と、前ウエスト域１３と、後ウエスト域１４と、前後ウエスト域１３，１４間を縦方向Ｙに延びるクロッチ域１５とを含む。おむつ１０は、仮想中心線Ｐ－Ｐに関して対称に形成されている。また、弾性ウエストパネル１１は、前ウエスト域１３を形成する前ウエストパネル１６と、後ウエスト域１４を形成する後ウエストパネル１７とから構成されている。
　前ウエストパネル１６は、クロッチ本体１２と交差し、横方向Ｘへ延びる内端縁１６ａと、縦方向Ｙにおいて内端縁１６ａと離間対向して横方向Ｘへ延びる外端縁１６ｂと、内外端縁１６ａ，１６ｂ間において縦方向Ｙに延びる両側縁１６ｃ，１６ｄとによって、横長の略矩形状に画成されている。
　後ウエストパネル１７は、前ウエストパネル１６とほぼ同形同大であって、クロッチ本体１２と交差し、横方向Ｘに延びる内端縁１７ａと、縦方向Ｙにおいて内端縁１７ａと離間対向して横方向Ｘに延びる外端縁１７ｂと、内外端縁１７ａ，１７ｂ間において縦方向Ｙに延びる両側縁１７ｃ，１７ｄとによって、横長の略矩形状に画成されている。
　前ウエストパネル１６の両側縁１６ｃ，１６ｄと後ウエストパネル１７の両側縁１７ｃ，１７ｄとは、互いに重ね合わせられて、縦方向Ｙに間欠的に接合されるサイドシーム部１８によって連結され、ウエスト開口２０と一対のレッグ開口２１とが画成されている（図１参照）。前記サイドシーム部１８は、公知の接合手段、例えば、熱エンボス加工、ソニックなどの各種の熱溶着手段によってなされる。
　前ウエストパネル１６は、肌対向面に位置する第１内面シート２３と、非肌対向面に位置する第１外面シート２４とを有する。第１内面シート２３と第１外面シート２４とは、質量が１５～３０ｇ／ｍ２の不透液性のＳＭＳ不織布またはスパンボンド不織布、若しくはプラスチックシートやそれらのラミネートシートなどから形成されている。両シート２３，２４は少なくともいずれか一方のシートの内面に塗布されたホットメルト接着剤（図示せず）を介して接合されている。また、第１内面シート２３と第１外面シート２４との間には、横方向Ｘへ延びる複数条のストランド状又はストリング状からなる前ウエスト弾性要素２５が、ホットメルト接着剤（図示せず）を介して、横方向Ｘにおいて収縮可能に配設されており、前ウエストパネル１６は、少なくとも横方向Ｘにおいて弾性化されている。なお、第１内面シート２３と第１外面シート２４とは、前ウエスト弾性要素２５を構成する各弾性要素に塗布したホットメルト接着剤を介してのみ互いに接合されていてもよい。
　後ウエストパネル１７は、肌対向面に位置する第２内面シート２６と、非肌対向面に位置する第２外面シート２７とを有する。第２内面シート２６と第２外面シート２７とは、質量が１５～３０ｇ／ｍ２の不透液性のＳＭＳ不織布またはスパンボンド不織布、若しくはプラスチックシートやそれらのラミネートシートなどから形成されている。両シート２６，２７は、少なくともいずれか一方のシートの内面に塗布されたホットメルト接着剤（図示せず）を介して接合されている。また、第２内面シート２６と第２外面シート２７との間には、横方向Ｘへ延びる複数条のストランド状又はストリング状からなる後ウエスト弾性要素２８が、ホットメルト接着剤（図示せず）を介して、横方向Ｘにおいて収縮可能に配設されており、後ウエストパネル１７は、少なくとも横方向Ｘにおいて弾性化されている。なお、第２内面シート２６と第２外面シート２７とは、後ウエスト弾性要素２８を構成する各弾性要素に塗布したホットメルト接着剤を介してのみ互いに接合されていてもよい。
　クロッチ本体１２は、前ウエスト域１３において横方向Ｘに延びる前端縁３１と、前端縁３１と縦方向Ｙにおいて離間対向して、後ウエスト域１４において横方向Ｘに延びる後端縁３２と、前後端縁３１，３２間において互いに横方向Ｘに離間対向し、かつ、縦方向Ｙに延びる両側縁３３，３４とから画成されており、おむつ１０の展開状態において略縦長矩形を有している（図２参照）。
　また、クロッチ本体１２は、前ウエストパネル１６の外面に取り付けられた前端部３５と、後ウエストパネル１７の外面に取り付けられた後端部３６と、前後端部３５，３６間において縦方向Ｙに延びる中間部３７と、不透液性の内外面クロッチシート３８，３９と、内面クロッチシート３８の肌対向面に配置された吸液性構造体４０とを有する。内外面クロッチシート３８，３９は、両シート３８，３９のうちの少なくともいずれか一方のシートの内面に塗布されたホットメルト接着剤（図示せず）を介して互いに接合されており、それらの両側部は、内方へ折り曲げられ、吸液性構造体４０の内面において縦方向Ｙに延びる一対のサイド弾性部４１が形成されている。吸液性構造体４０は、少なくとも高吸収性ポリマー粒子とフラッフパルプとを混合してなり、前記各シートに比して剛性が高い半剛性の吸収性コアを透液性シートで被包することによって形成されている。
　各サイド弾性部４１は、内外面クロッチシート３８，３９の両側縁どうしが接合されてなる内側縁４２と、前後端縁４４，４５とを有し、おむつ１０の製造時において、内外面クロッチシート３８，３９の折曲ライン（クロッチ本体１２の両側縁３３，３４）に沿って内側へ折り返され、その結果、縦方向Ｙに延びる外側縁４３が形成されている。
　また、各サイド弾性部４１の前後端縁４４，４５では、各サイド弾性部４１を形成する内面クロッチシート３８の前後端縁と、外面クロッチシート３９の前後端縁とが、それぞれ、横方向Ｘに延びる接着域４８，４９を介して固定されている。このように、各サイド弾性部４１の前後端縁４４，４５が封止されていることによって、前後端縁４４，４５から各サイド弾性部４１に進入、浸透した排泄物が外部に漏れ出るおそれはない。また、図示していないが、サイド弾性部４１の前後端縁４４，４５は、クロッチ本体１２の前後端縁３１，３２を形成する内面クロッチシート３８に接着剤などの各種接着手段によって固定されている。このように、サイド弾性部４１の前後端縁４４，４５がクロッチ本体１２の前後端縁３１，３２に固定されているので、吸液性構造体４０上に排泄された排泄物が、サイド弾性部４１の前後端縁４４，４５とクロッチ本体１２の前後端縁３１，３２との間から外部に漏れ出ることはない。なお、接着域４８，４９は、内外面クロッチシート３８，３９の内面全体に塗布されたホットメルト接着剤と同種または異種のホットメルト接着剤等の各種接着剤、ヒートシール、ソニック等の接合手段またはそれらの組み合わせによって形成することができる。
　図２～５に示すとおり、サイド弾性部４１には、縦方向Ｙに延びる複数条のストランド状又はストリング状からなる第１レッグ弾性要素５０と第２レッグ弾性要素５１とが配設されており、少なくとも縦方向Ｙにおいて弾性化している。第１レッグ弾性要素５０は、サイド弾性部４１の内側縁に沿って縦方向Ｙに延びる３条の弾性要素から形成されており、第２レッグ弾性要素５１は、クロッチ域１５の中央部で内方へ凹曲し、前後ウエスト域１３，１４に向かって直状に延びる５本の弾性要素から形成されている。第１及び第レッグ弾性要素５０，５１は、内外面クロッチシート３８，３９の少なくともいずれか一方の内面に塗布されたホットメルト接着剤（図示せず）を介して両シート３８，３９間に縦方向Ｙに伸長状態で固定されている。
　図３及び４に示すとおり、サイド弾性部４１の内側縁４２において、内外面クロッチシート３８，３９は、それらの側縁部がほぼ一致した状態で一体的に接合されている。具体的には、ホットメルト接着剤を面状又は繊維状に塗布してシートどうしを一体化しており、これにより、サイド弾性部４１内部の密閉性が保持され、第１レッグ弾性要素５０が内側縁４２から外方に抜け出ることを確実に防止することができる。また、内外面クロッチシート３８，３９の側縁部がずれた状態で内側縁４２において接合されている場合には、内外面クロッチシート３８，３９の側縁部どうしの隙間から排泄物が外部に漏れ出るおそれがあるが、本実施形態では、それらがほぼほぼ一致した状態で一体的に接合されているので、かかる問題を生じるおそれはない。
　第１及び第２レッグ弾性要素５０，５１がサイド弾性部４１に固定されていることによって、サイド弾性部４１は、吸液性構造体４０から離間して着用者の鼠径部に当接し、おむつ１０の着用状態において、クロッチ本体１２は弾性ウエストパネル１１に吊持された袋状の形態を呈する（図１参照）。かかる着用状態において、排泄物が吸液性構造体４０上に排泄された場合には、その自重によって吸液性構造体４０が着用者の臀部から離間し、着用者と吸液性構造体４０との間に排泄物を保持するための、通常の使い捨ておむつに比べて比較的大容量の排泄物収容スペースを形成することができる。
　図２～６に示すとおり、クロッチ本体１２は、前端部３５及び後端部３６の肌対向面にホットメルト接着剤６０，６１を塗布してなる前接合域６２と後接合域６３とにおいて、前後ウエストパネル１６，１７の外面に取り付けられている。このように、前端部３５と後端部３６とが前後ウエストパネル１６，１７の外面に取り付けられていることによって、排泄物収容スペースをより大きく形成することができる。ただし、排泄物の収容スペースを拡大する効果を奏する限りにおいて、前端部３５または後端部３６のいずれか一方が対応するウエストパネル１６，１７の外面に取り付けられていてもよい。なお、後端部３６が後ウエストパネル１７の外面に取り付けられている場合には、着用者の臀部の形状に沿った排泄物収容スペースを形成することができ、おむつ１０の着用感を向上することができる。
　前接合域６２は、クロッチ域１５に向かって開口し、凹となる形状、いわゆる、コ字状の形状を有しており、サイド弾性部４１の前後端部にホットメルト接着剤が塗布された両側域６４と、両側域６４間において横方向Ｘに延びる中央域６５とを有する。両側域６４の内側縁は、サイド弾性部４１の内側縁４２よりもわずかに内方に位置しており、中央域６５は、吸液性構造体４０存在域の縦方向Ｙの外方に位置している。両側域６４と中央域６５との間には、ホットメルトメルト接着剤６０が塗布されていない前非接合域６６が画成されている。
　後接合域６３は、前接合域６２と同様に、クロッチ域１５に向かって開口し、凹となる、いわゆるコ字状の形状を有しており、サイド弾性部４１の前後端部にホットメルト接着剤が塗布された両側域６８と、両側域６８間において横方向Ｘに延びる中央域６９とを有する。両側域６８の内側縁は、サイド弾性部４１の内側縁４２よりもわずかに内方に位置しており、中央域６９は、吸液性構造体４０の存在域の縦方向Ｙの外方に位置している。両側域６８と中央域６９との間には、ホットメルト接着剤が塗布されていない後非接合域７０が画成されている。
　図５に示すとおり、クロッチ本体１２の前後端部３５，３６において非接合域６６，７０が画成されていることによって、クロッチ本体１２と前後ウエストパネル１６，１７との間にスペースが形成されている。かかるスペースは、排泄物の漏れを防止するとともに、排泄物を一時的に収容・保持するための排泄物収容部７３，７４として機能する。また、排泄物収容部７３，７４内には、吸液性構造体４０の前後端部が位置しているので、排泄物収容部７３，７４に流れ込んできた尿を速やかに吸収することができる。
　本実施形態では、前後接合域６２，６３の両方がコ字状を有し、非接合域６６，７０が画成されているが、前後接合域６２，６３のうちのいずれか一方のみがコ字状を有し、他方には非接合域による排泄物収容部が形成されていなくてもよい。また、前後接合域６２，６３は、排泄物収容部７３，７４が形成される限りにおいて、その内側縁が曲状のものであって、全体として曲状をなすものであってもよく、両側域６４，６８および／または中央域６５，６９とが段差状であったり、両側域６４，６８が三角形状を有していてもよい。
＜第２実施形態＞
　図７は、本発明の第２実施形態を示す、図６と同様の平面図である。なお、説明の便宜上、図７では、おむつ１０の弾性ウエストパネル１１とクロッチ本体１２との各構成部材（前後接合域６２，６３を除く）を仮想線で示している。また、本実施形態のおむつ１０の基本的構成態様は、第１実施形態のそれと同様であるので、相違する点についてのみ以下に述べる。
　本実施形態では、前後非接合域６６，７０の存在域に、該存在域よりもひとまわり大きく、かつ、不透液性のプラスチックシートまたは繊維不織布シートからなる防漏シート７５，７６が配置されている。
　具体的には、防漏シート７５，７６は、それぞれ、前ウエストパネル１６を形成する第１内面シート２３と第１外面シート２４と、後ウエストパネル１７を形成する第２内面シート２６と第２外面シート２７との間に介在されており、ホットメルト接着剤（図示せず）を介して両シート間に固定されている。このように、前後非接合域６６，７０の存在域に防漏シート７５，７６が配置されているので、排泄物収容部７３，７４に進入した尿が吸液性構造体４０に十分に吸収されず、クロッチ本体１２から滲出したとしても、前後ウエストパネル１６，１７から外部に漏れ出ることはない。なお、本実施形態では、防漏シート７５，７６は、第１内外面シート２３，２４と第２内外面シート２６，２７の間に配置されているが、ホットメルト接着剤を介して第１及び第２内面シート２３，２６の内面に貼付されていてもよい。
　本発明において、弾性ウエストパネル１１、クロッチ本体１２を構成する各構成部材の材料としては、この種の使い捨て着用物品に用いられる各種材料を制限なく用いることができる。また、本実施形態では、おむつ１０は、弾性ウエストパネル１１とクロッチ本体１２とが別々に形成されてなる、いわゆるパンツ型のおむつであるが、略砂時計状の２枚のシートの間に吸収性コアが介在されて形成されたものであってもよいし、いわゆる開放型のおむつであってもよい。

Claims (3)

  1. 　縦方向及びそれに直交する横方向と、前ウエスト域と、後ウエスト域と、前記前後ウエスト域間に位置するクロッチ域と、前記前後ウエスト域を画成する環状の弾性ウエストパネルと、前記弾性ウエストパネルに取り付けられた、前記前後ウエスト域の一部および前記クロッチ域を画成するクロッチ本体とを含む使い捨て着用物品において、
    　前記クロッチ本体が、前記前ウエスト域に位置する前端部と、前記後ウエスト域に位置する後端部とを有し、
    　前記前後端部のうちの少なくともいずれか一方が、前記クロッチ本体の前記横方向における中央領域に非接合域を画成し、前記クロッチ域へ向かって開口して凹となる接合域を介して前記弾性ウエストパネルの外面に取り付けられており、
    　前記非接合域の画成された領域において、前記弾性ウエストパネルと前記クロッチ本体との間に排泄物収容部が形成されていることを特徴とする前記着用物品。
  2. 　前記クロッチ本体が、前記クロッチ域の両側において前記縦方向に延びる一対のサイド弾性部を有し、前記クロッチ域の内面に前記縦方向に延びる吸液性構造体が配置されており、前記非接合域が、前記一対のサイド弾性部間における前記吸液性構造体の存在域に画成されている請求項１記載の着用物品。
  3. 　前記弾性ウエストパネルにおける前記非接合域の画成された領域には、不透液性で透湿性のプラスチックシート又は繊維不織布シートから形成された防漏シートが配置されている請求項１または２記載の着用物品。
