Le système comprend : un serveur de gestion d'administration de médicament qui transmet des informations concernant une prescription d'administration de médicament et reçoit des informations concernant l'administration de médicament comprenant au moins l'instant d'administration ; et un terminal de boîte de médicaments, qui sauvegarde les informations concernant une prescription d'administration de médicament transmise par le serveur de gestion d'administration de médicament, stocke les médicaments dans celui-ci, effectue une opération de contrôle pour garantir que les médicaments ne sont pris qu'à l'instant prédéterminé après que le temps d'administration de médicament a commencé, et transmet des informations d'administration de médicament mises à jour au serveur de gestion d'administration de médicament si un médicament a été administré pendant l'intervalle de temps prédéterminé après que le temps d'administration de médicament a commencé.
