Description
(第一の実施形態)
図1は、第一の携帯機器のハードウェア構成の一例を示す図である。本実施形態の携帯機器100は、それぞれバスBで相互に接続されている入力装置11、出力装置12、ドライブ装置13、補助記憶装置14、メモリ装置15、演算処理装置16、通信装置17及び通知装置18を含み、それらはそれぞれバスBで相互に接続されている。
以下に図8を参照して本発明の第二の実施形態について説明する。本発明の第二の実施形態による携帯機器は、消費電流算出部120と処理量算出部130とが電池パックの監視ICの機能である点が第一の実施形態による形態機器と相違する。図8は、第二の実施形態による携帯機器の機能構成を示すブロック図である。図8において、図2に示す構成部品と同等な部品には同じ符号を付し、その説明は省略する。
以下に図9を参照して本発明の第三の実施形態について説明する。本発明の第三の実施形態による携帯機器は、監視ICが電池パック200の外部に設けられている点が第二の実施形態と相違する。図9は、第三の実施形態による携帯機器の機能構成を示すブロック図である。図9において、図2に示す構成部品と同等な部品には同じ符号を付し、その説明は省略する。

以下に本発明の第七の実施形態について説明する。本発明の第七の実施形態は、第一ないし第四の実施形態をDVD(Digital Versatile Disc)プレイヤー100Dに適用した形態である。
以下に本発明の第八の実施形態について説明する。本発明の第八の実施形態は、第一ないし第四の実施形態を音楽データ再生装置に適用した形態である。
以下に本発明の第九の実施形態について説明する。本発明の第九の実施形態は、第一ないし第四の実施形態を携帯型ナビゲーション装置に適用した形態である。
以下に本発明の第十の実施形態について説明する。本発明の第十の実施形態は、第一ないし第四の実施形態をゲーム機のコントローラに適用した形態である。
本実施形態では、第一の実施形態の携帯機器をコントローラ100Fに適用したが、第二の実施形態ないし第四の実施形態も同様にコントローラ100Fに適用することができる。

- 二次電池により駆動され、所定の処理を実行する携帯機器であって、
前記二次電池の電池残量を検出する残量検出部と、
前記所定の処理を実行するために消費される消費電流の平均値を算出する消費電流算出部と、
前記残量検出部により検出された電池残量と、前記消費電流算出部により算出された消費電流の平均値とに基づき、前記所定の処理の実行可能処理量を算出する処理量算出部と、
前記処理量算出部により算出された前記所定の処理の実行可能処理量を前記携帯機器の利用者へ通知する通知部と
を有する携帯機器。 - 請求項1記載の携帯機器であって、
前記通知部は、前記所定の処理の実行可能処理量を音声により通知する携帯機器。 - 請求項1記載の携帯機器であって、
前記通知部は、前記所定の処理の実行可能処理量を表示装置に表示する携帯機器。 - 二次電池により駆動され、所定の処理を実行する携帯機器により行なわれる通知方法であって、
前記二次電池の電池残量を検出する残量検出ステップと、
前記所定の処理を実行することにより消費される消費電流の平均値を算出する消費電流算出ステップと、
検出された電池残量と算出された消費電流の平均値とに基づき、前記所定の処理の実行可能処理量を算出する処理量算出ステップと、
前記所定の処理の実行可能処理量を前記携帯機器の利用者へ通知する通知ステップと
を有する通知方法。 - 請求項4記載の通知方法であって、
前記通知ステップは、前記所定の処理の実行可能処理量を音声により通知する通知方法。 - 請求項4記載の通知方法であって、
前記通知ステップは、前記所定の処理の実行可能処理量を表示装置に表示する通知方法。 - 二次電池により駆動され、所定の処理を実行する携帯機器において実行されるコンピュータ読み取り可能な通知プログラムであって、
前記携帯機器に、
前記二次電池の電池残量を検出する残量検出ステップと、
前記所定の処理の実行により消費される消費電流の平均値を算出する消費電流算出ステップと、
検出された電池残量と算出された消費電流の平均値とに基づき、前記所定の処理の実行可能処理量を算出する処理量算出ステップと、
前記所定の処理の実行可能処理量を前記携帯機器の利用者へ通知する通知ステップと
を実行させる通知プログラム。
