Abstract

본 발명은 전지모듈 및 전지모듈을 냉각시키는 방법을 제공한다. 전지모듈은, 전지셀과 상기 전지셀에 인접하여 배치되어 있는 냉각 핀을 포함하고 있다. 상기 냉각 핀은 고체 플레이트와, 상기 고체 플레이트의 제 1 및 제 2 모서리로부터 각각 연장되어 있는 제 1 및 제 2 탭 부위들을 포함하고 있다. 상기 제 1 및 제 2 탭 부위들은 전지셀의 전면에 대해 수직으로 절곡된 구조로 이루어져 있다. 상기 냉각 핀은 전지셀로부터의 열 에너지를 냉각 핀으로 추출한다. 전지모듈은 또한 상기 냉각 핀의 제 1 탭 부위와 접촉해 있는 제 1 냉각 매니폴드를 포함하고 있다. 제 1 냉각 매니폴드는 유체를 수령하고 그것을 통해 연장되어 있는 적어도 하나의 유로 채널을 가지고 있다. 제 1 냉각 매니폴드는 전지셀을 냉각시키기 위해 냉각 핀으로부터의 열 에너지를 제 1 냉각 매니폴드를 통해 흐르는 유체로 전도한다.
