Definitions
- the present invention relates to a large returnable container, a molding method and molding apparatus thereof, and a blow mold divided into heating zones.
- this type of large returnable container has been manufactured by injection-molding a preform made of polycarbonate (PC) and blow-molding the preform (Patent Document 1).
- a blow molding method for ensuring the heat resistance of a small and medium container having a capacity of several liters or less, for example, 500 cc to 2 liters.
- a heat-resistant container Patent Documents 3 to 5
- the strain generated during the stretch orientation can be removed to increase the crystallinity, thereby improving the heat resistance.
- JP-A-8-164557 JP 11-34152 A Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 10-286874 Japanese Patent No. 3777204 JP 2006-117289 A
- the preform for a large container becomes thick (in Patent Document 2, the thickness of the trunk is 8 to 10 mm), which is more than double the thickness of the preform for a small and medium container. Due to the necessity of using this thick preform, if the heat-resistant container molding method disclosed in Patent Documents 3 to 5 is used as it is, a relatively thick part (especially the shoulder) is heated even after blow molding. It was later found that it was gradually cooled and whitened by spherulite crystallization. When stress whitening occurs due to high stretching, such as in the body, even if it is possible to remove the strain by applying heat, whitening due to spherulite crystallization caused by the thick wall may be heated. It cannot be resolved and the transparency deteriorates. Moreover, if the shoulder is thin, the top load pressure resistance cannot be secured.
- some aspects of the present invention eliminate the drawbacks while utilizing the advantage of the thick part even after blow molding, and have a high top load withstand pressure balanced between heat resistance and transparency. It is an object of the present invention to provide a large returnable container, its molding method and molding apparatus, and a blow mold divided into heating zones.
- a method for forming a large returnable container is as follows.
- the preform or the primary blow-molded product is placed in a heat treatment mold, high-pressure air is introduced into the preform or the primary blow-molded product and pressurized, and a blow-molded shoulder portion and The body part is brought into close contact with the cavity surface of the heat treatment mold and heat-treated, and the blow-molded shoulder part is heated at a temperature lower than that of the body part.
- a polyester resin such as polyethylene terephthalate is used as a molding material in place of the polycarbonate containing bisphenol A.
- a thick preform for a large returnable container is used in place of a thin preform for a small and medium container of about 500 cc to 2 liters.
- a large returnable container is made from a thick-walled preform with at least two blow molding processes (intermediate blow molding process and final blow blow molding process) and two heat treatment processes (intermediate blow molding process and final blow molding process). Through the process).
- a thick-walled preform is subjected to primary blow molding, the preform body is highly stretched because the distance to the cavity surface of the primary blow mold is long, while the shoulder of the preform is the distance to the cavity surface of the primary blow mold. Is short, the stretching rate is small, and the wall becomes thicker than the body.
- a heated primary blow mold (intermediate blow mold) is used as a heat treatment mold, or a primary blow molded product taken out from the primary blow mold is a secondary blow mold (intermediate blow mold) different from the primary blow mold. Mold) as a heat treatment mold.
- a method for forming a large returnable container is as follows.
- Middle blow molded product having a shoulder and body stretched and oriented by primary blow molding from a thick polyester resin preform is subjected to secondary blow under heating to remove distortion during primary blow molding
- a heat treatment step for obtaining a molded article A final blow molding step of finally blowing the contracted intermediate molded product under heating to obtain a large returnable container;
- the primary blow-molded product is heat-treated by bringing the primary blow-molded product into close contact with the cavity surface of the heat treatment mold having substantially the same shape as the shoulder portion and the barrel portion, and the shoulder portion of the primary blow-molded product is more than the barrel portion. It is characterized by heating at a low temperature.
- the primary blow molding step and the first heat treatment step are separated, and thus the following acts. Since the preform is heated to a suitable temperature for blow and is primarily blown into the primary blow molded product, when heat treatment is performed in the primary blow mold, the shoulder and body of the primary blow molded product have the holding temperature, It moves on the cavity surface even after contact with the cavity surface.
- the primary blow mold and the heat treatment mold are separately provided, the primary blow mold does not need to be heated, and the shape stability of the primary blow molded product is improved.
- the shape stability of the final blow-molded product is also improved. Further, when primary blow molding is performed without heating, the body portion is extended thinner than that subjected to primary blow molding under heating, and the transparency and heat resistance of the body portion are improved.
- each heating zone for the shoulder portion and the body portion of the primary blow-molded product in the heat treatment step, can be insulated and divided by a heat insulating portion. If it carries out like this, setting temperature control becomes easy in each heating zone of a shoulder part and a trunk
- each of the heating zones can be divided by an air heat insulating layer. Since an air heat insulation layer can be formed by providing a clearance gap between each heating zone of a shoulder part and a body part, a heat insulation part can be formed easily.
- the heat treatment mold includes a pair of split molds in which a parting surface continuous with the cavity surface contacts each other, and each of the pair of split molds is formed on the cavity surface of the heat treatment mold. It includes a slit that is exposed and does not reach the parting surface. In the heat treatment step, the air heat insulating layer formed by the slit can divide each heating zone.
- the method includes a first exhaust process for exhausting the interior of the intermediate molded product after the heat treatment process, and a second exhaust process for exhausting the interior of the large returnable container after the final blow molding process.
- the exhaust speed in the first exhaust process can be made faster than the exhaust speed in the second exhaust process.
- the intermediate molded product can be freely heat-shrinked, and the intermediate molded product is prevented from being sandwiched between the final blow molds by shrinking to a size smaller than the final blow molded product.
- the bottom of the primary blow-molded product is cooled and solidified, so that even if the exhaust speed is increased, deformation such as overturning may occur in the process of shrinking the bottom of the intermediate molded product. Absent.
- the heat treatment mold further includes a bottom mold that contacts a bottom part of a raised bottom that closes one end of the body part of the primary blow-molded product, and in the heat treatment step, the pair of split molds First, the bottom mold is clamped, and the primary blow molded product can be centered by the bottom mold.
- the primary blow molded product Since the bottom of the primary blow molded product is cooled and solidified, the primary blow molded product is centered before the pair of split molds are clamped by bringing the bottom mold into contact with the raised bottom of the primary blow molded product. And can be positioned.
- the large returnable container is A mouth formed during injection molding of a thick polyester resin preform; A shoulder that is larger in diameter than the mouth; A trunk that follows the shoulder; A bottom portion for closing one end of the body portion; Have At least the shoulder part and the body part are blow-molded in a blow mold in which a shoulder zone thermally insulated by a slit exposed to a blow mold cavity surface is heated to a temperature lower than the body zone. By being stretched and oriented, the strain at the time of stretching orientation has been removed, The traces of the slits are formed along the circumferential direction and discontinuous lines are formed in the circumferential direction.
- the large returnable container according to still another aspect of the present invention is made of polyester, there is no precipitation of bisphenol A, and since the strain at the time of stretching is removed, it has heat resistance and the shoulder is heated at a low temperature. Therefore, whitening due to spherulite crystallization is also reduced or prevented. And since the trace of the slit used for heat insulation is formed as a discontinuous line in the peripheral direction, it can be discriminated whether it is a product of the present invention.
- the apparatus for forming a large returnable container is: A primary blow-molded product having a shoulder portion and a body portion stretched and oriented by primary blow molding from a thick-walled polyester resin preform having a mouth portion is subjected to secondary blow molding under heating.
- the final blow-molded part that obtains a large returnable container in which distortion during the final blow is removed by final blowing the heated intermediate molded product under heating, Have The heat treatment part

- Each of the pair of split molds of the heat treatment mold includes a heat insulating portion that insulates each heating zone with respect to the shoulder portion and the body portion of the intermediate molded product subjected to secondary blow molding, The shoulder portion is heated at a temperature lower than that of the trunk portion.
- a molding apparatus for a large returnable container includes a heat treatment section and a final blow molding section, and the heat treatment section includes a heat treatment mold including a pair of split molds and a blow air introduction member. Since the split mold has a heat insulating part, the method for forming a large returnable container according to another aspect of the present invention can be suitably implemented. Moreover, since the injection molding of the preform to the blow molding of the primary blow molded product can be carried out with an existing injection stretch blow molding apparatus, it has a heat treatment section and a final blow molding section for molding a large returnable container. It is only necessary to add a molding apparatus according to the apparatus of the present invention.
- the apparatus for forming a large returnable container includes: a transport member provided with the blow air introduction member that transports the primary blow-molded product in an inverted state in which the mouth portion faces downward; Provided in the heat treatment section, driven to contact with and away from the conveying member, sealed by contact, supplied with the high-pressure air to the blow air introducing member, and unsealed by non-contact to exhaust the inside of the intermediate molded product And a sealing piston.
- the seal on the mouth side can be released by the movement of the seal piston while the blow air introduction member is fitted in the mouth, the inside of the intermediate molded product can be exhausted at high speed. Thereby, the intermediate molded product can be freely heat-shrinked to be smaller than the final blow molded product, and the pinching in the final blow mold can be prevented.

- An article 40 is shown.
- the mouth portion 12 is provided in common for each of the molded products 10, 20, 30, and 40, and the shape below the mouth portion 12 is different.
- the preform 10 is injection molded using a polyester resin such as a PET resin.
- the preform 10 has an opening 12 that opens, a cylindrical body 14 that follows the opening 12, and a bottom 16 that closes one end of the body 14.
- the PET resin is a copolymer having a slow crystal acceleration (992 made by Kodak Co., Copolymer grade with cyclohexamethanol), but is not limited to this as long as it is a polyester resin.
- the inner diameter of the mouth portion 12 of the preform 10 is, for example, 40 mm to 60 mm, and the thickness of the body portion 14 is, for example, 6 to 9 mm, preferably 8 mm or less.
- the preform of a small and medium-sized container can suppress the body thickness of the preform to 4 mm or less by increasing the length of the vertical axis.
- the large-sized container preform 10 is required to have a considerable amount of resin (600 to 750 g) because it has a large capacity and secures a top load resistance.
- the maximum preform length for example, the total length of about 400 to 500 mm
- the draw ratio of the vertical axis is close to 1
- the thickness of the body portion of the preform 10 exceeds 9 mm, even if the above-described resin material (copolymer) is used, spherulite crystallizes and whitens during blowing.
- a primary blow-molded product 20 formed by performing primary blow molding of the body portion 14 and the bottom portion 16 of the preform 10 is followed by an injection-molded mouth 12, a shoulder 22 following the mouth 12, and a shoulder 22.

- the bottom portion 36 includes a raised bottom portion 37 provided at the center and a grounding portion 38 around the raised bottom portion 37.
- the intermediate molded product 30 is smaller in barrel diameter and shorter in length than the final blow molded product 40 because the primary blow molded product 20 (or the secondary blow molded product) is thermally contracted.
- the intermediate molded product 30 strain or residual stress generated by stretching and orientation by primary blow molding is removed by heat treatment (heat setting), and the crystallinity of the intermediate molded product 30 is increased. Further, since the intermediate molded product 30 is thermally contracted after the heat treatment, even if it is heated at a temperature lower than the heat treatment temperature thereafter, the intermediate molded product 30 hardly undergoes heat shrinkage. The heat treatment at the stage of the intermediate molded product 30 improves the shape stability at high temperatures.

It is rotated and conveyed at intervals.
- adopted with the injection stretch blow molding apparatus shown by FIG. 2 of patent document 2 can be implemented. That is, as shown in FIG. 3 of Patent Document 2, the injection-molded preform 10 is placed in a temperature control pot, and a temperature-controlled blow core mold is inserted into the mouth portion 12 of the preform 10. Then, the preform 10 is pre-blowed by the blow pressure and brought into contact with the inner surface of the temperature control pot, so that the temperature of the preform is adjusted to an appropriate temperature for blowing. If it carries out like this, the preform 10 preform 10 becomes large in outer diameter (up to about 90 mm in the maximum diameter of the body part), and as a result, the wall thickness becomes thinner. For this reason, in addition to increasing the temperature control efficiency, it is possible to lower the stretch ratio when primary blow molding is performed on the primary blow molded product 20, and it is possible to perform primary blow molding without stress whitening even at low temperatures.
- the primary blow molded product 20 taken out from the injection stretch blow molding apparatus 50 is supplied to the large returnable container molding apparatus 60 in-line or offline.

- the primary blow molding part 100, the heat treatment part 200, and the final blow molding part 300 are in an upright state with the mouth part 12 facing upward.
- An example of blow molding will be described.
- the molding apparatus 60 can perform blow molding in an inverted state with the mouth portion 12 facing downward. Since the molding apparatus 60 does not have an injection molding section, the molded product can be conveyed in an inverted state, and the mechanism is simplified because a neck mold that can be opened and closed is not used as will be described later.
- FIG. 3 is a schematic sectional view of the primary blow molding part 100.
- the preform 10 injection-molded by the injection-molding unit 52 is held by a neck mold 102 having a mouth portion 12 formed of a pair of split molds, and is carried into the primary blow molding unit 100 via a temperature control unit 53.

- a primary stretching rod 110 that passes through the primary blow core mold 108 and is disposed in the preform 10 is provided so as to be movable up and down. In the present embodiment, as shown in FIG. 3, the vertical axis stretching ratio of the preform 10 is nearly 1 time on the vertical axis center line of the preform 10. In addition to its longitudinal stretching function, the primary stretching rod 110 can position the preform between the primary bottom mold 106 and the primary stretching rod 110 to center the preform 10 during primary blow molding.
- the primary blow-molded part 100 is brought into the injection-molded preform 10 after the temperature of the preform 10 has been adjusted to the appropriate temperature.
- the primary blow molding may be a hot parison method (one-stage method) using a preform 10 that retains heat during injection molding, or a cold parison method in which the preform 10 that has returned to room temperature after injection molding is heated to an appropriate temperature for blow ( Any of the two-stage method may be adopted.
- Heat treatment part (secondary blow molding part)
- the heat treatment unit 200 performs secondary blow molding of the primary blow molded product 20 in a heated secondary blow mold, and obtains an intermediate molded product 30 that is thermally contracted after the secondary blow molding.
- this heat treatment part 200 is a secondary blow molding part, a neck mold 202 having the same function as each member provided in the primary blow molding part 100, a pair of secondary blow split molds 204, a secondary blow molding part It has a bottom mold 206, a secondary blow core mold (blow air introduction member) 208, and a secondary stretching rod 210.
- the cavity surface 204A of the pair of secondary blow split molds 204 and the cavity surface 206A of the secondary bottom mold 206 of the heat treatment section 200 are the cavity surfaces 104A and the primary bottom of the pair of primary blow split molds 104 of the primary blow molding section 100.
- the dimensions are substantially the same as the cavity surface 106A of the mold 106. This is because the purpose of the heat treatment part 200 is to remove the distortion generated in the primary blow-molded product, and therefore it is preferable that the primary blow-molded product 20 is not stretched and oriented in the secondary blow molding. Further, since it is hardly stretched in the secondary blow molding process, even the primary blow molded product 20 near room temperature taken out from the injection stretch blow molding apparatus 50 of FIG. There is no.
- the secondary bottom mold 206 is clamped prior to clamping the pair of secondary blow split molds 204, 204, as shown in FIG. Since the bottom portion 26 of the primary blow-molded product 20 is cooled and hard, the raised bottom-shaped bottom portion 26 of the primary blow-molded product 20 is centered by clamping the secondary bottom mold 206.
- High-pressure air is introduced into the primary blow molded product 20 centered by the secondary bottom mold 206 through the secondary blow core mold 208, and the secondary stretching rod 210 is driven in the vertical axis.
- drum 24, and the bottom part 26 of the primary blow molded product 20 are closely_contact
- the difference between the heat treatment mold 200 and the primary blow molding part 100 is that the pair of secondary blow split molds 204, 204 have a heating part. Since the role of the heat treatment part 200 is to remove the strain generated in the primary blow-molded product 20 during the primary blow molding by heat treatment, the heating part is arranged.
- this pair of secondary blow split molds 204 and 204 (blow mold in a broad sense) has zone heating sections that heat the shoulder portion 22 and the trunk portion 24 of the primary blow molded product 20 at different temperatures.
- the pair of secondary blow split molds 204, 204 are divided into a total of 12 pieces each having six split molds 204, 204.
- Vertical holes 212 for arranging rod-shaped heaters are formed so as to penetrate the cavity surfaces 204A and 204A at substantially equal intervals in the circumferential direction.
- Each of the twelve vertical holes 212 is provided with a heating portion such as a rod heater (not shown).
- the rod heater (not shown) has an effective heater length over the length range of the body portion 24 of the primary blow-molded product 20.
- a bottomed vertical hole 214 for arranging a thermocouple is provided in the vicinity of each of the twelve vertical holes 212.
- the temperature measuring element for example, the thermocouple 216 (see FIG. 4) is disposed in the twelve vertical holes 214, and the measured temperature is fed back, whereby the heating temperature of the body 24 can be controlled.
- These vertical holes 212 and 214, the heating part, and the temperature measuring element constitute a first temperature control part.
- the pair of secondary blow split molds 204, 204 have the shoulder portion 22 of the primary blow-molded product 20 and Heat medium passages 218 and 218 that are heating portions are formed at corresponding height positions that surround the shoulder portion 22.
- the shoulder portion 22 of the primary blow-molded product 20 is heated.
- a temperature measuring element for measuring a mold temperature set by the heat medium flowing through the heat medium passages 218 and 218 is provided, and the shoulder 22 is heated by feeding back the measured temperature. The temperature can be controlled.
- the heating unit 218 and the temperature measuring element constitute a second temperature adjustment unit.
- the 1st, 2nd temperature control part zone divides and heats the shoulder part 22 and the trunk
- the temperature of the shoulder portion 22 is heated to be lower than that of the trunk portion 24.
- the reason for providing this temperature difference is that there is a difference in the wall thickness between the shoulder portion 22 and the body portion 24 of the primary blow-molded product 20.
- the body portion 24 of the primary blow-molded product 20 has a high draw ratio and is sufficiently thin compared to the shoulder portion 22.
- the shoulder portion 22 of the primary blow-molded product 20 has a shorter distance from the side wall of the preform 10 to the primary cavity surface 104 ⁇ / b> A than the body portion 24, and the horizontal axis stretch ratio is small. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 4, the shoulder portion 22 of the primary blow-molded product 20 has a thick transition portion that is thick on the mouth portion 12 side and becomes thinner as it approaches the body portion 24 (see FIG. 4).
- This relatively thick shoulder 22 has a larger heat capacity than the body 24. Therefore, when the shoulder 22 is heated in contact with the cavity surface 204A by the blow pressure, the temperature is easily maintained.
- the primary blow-molded product 20 After the primary blow-molded product 20 is heated in contact with the cavity surface 204A by high-pressure air for a predetermined time, for example, 8 to 16 seconds, the air pressure is released, and the secondary blow core mold 208 is driven upward to perform primary blow. It is detached from the mouth 12 of the molded product 20. Thereby, the inside of the primary blow molded product 20 is exhausted at a stretch. As a result, the primary blow-molded product 20 is freely heat-shrinkable, and the intermediate molded product 30 is formed by heat shrinkage on the vertical and horizontal axes. The shrinkage is about 10 to 30% in capacity and about 5 to 15% in total height.
- the shoulder portion 32 of the intermediate molded product 30 is thicker than the body portion 34, it has a large heat capacity and is not cooled at a stretch. Therefore, the thick shoulder portion 32 is easily cooled and whitened by spherulite crystallization.
- the heating temperature of the shoulder portion 32 is lower than that of the body portion 34, this whitening crystallization can be reduced, and further, whitening crystallization can be prevented.
- the heating temperature of the body portion 24 of the primary blow-molded product 20 is set to 140 to 180 ° C., while the heating temperature of the shoulder portion 22 is set to a low value of 100 to 120 ° C. Is secured.
- lateral holes 220 and 220 are formed through the shoulder zones of the pair of secondary blow split dies 204 and 204.
- the slits 222 and 222 are exposed to the cavity surface 204A of the pair of secondary blow split dies 204 and 204, but are not exposed to the parting surface 204B. This is because when the slit 222 reaches the parting surface 204B, the pair of secondary blow split dies 204, 204 are separated vertically.
- the shoulder zone and the body zone can be thermally insulated. Thereby, it becomes easy to maintain each heating temperature of the shoulder zone and the trunk zone.
- the shoulder zone separated by the slit 222 has a small volume, so that it is shown in FIG. 4 in order to prevent movement within the gap of the slit 222.
- a bolt hole 224 is formed in the shoulder zone.
- the shoulder zone can be fixed via a bolt screwed into the bolt hole 224.
- lines 23 and 23 are formed as traces of the slits 222 and 222 along the circumferential direction and discontinuous in the circumferential direction.
- the lines 23 and 23 are each a wide-angle arc of less than 180 degrees in a plan view seen from above the mouth 12 side of the primary blow-molded product 20.
- the lines 23 and 23 also remain in the intermediate molded product 30 and the final blow molded product 40, and traces of the implementation of the present embodiment also remain in the final blow molded product 40. It should be noted that the regions 23 and 23 of the final blow-molded product 40 can be made difficult to see by subjecting the regions 23 and 23 to a fine uneven pattern during final blow molding.
- the exhaust speed is an important factor in forming the intermediate molded product 30 by freely heat-shrinking the primary blow molded product 20.
- the peripheral length of the body portion of the intermediate molded product 30 is 20 to 20 times compared to the exhaust speed when the exhaust time is 10 seconds.
- the overall height of the intermediate molded product 30 was shortened by 2 to 5 mm as short as 30 mm.
- the intermediate molded product 30 must be smaller in size than the final blow molded product 40, otherwise the intermediate molded product 30 will be sandwiched between final blow molds.
- the exhaust time in the heat treatment section 200 (the exhaust time in the first exhaust process) is set to a short time of 5 to 7 seconds, for example, 6 seconds, and the exhaust speed is increased.
- the exhaust time in the primary blow molding unit 100 and the final blow molding unit 300 (exhaust time in the second exhaust process) is 20 to 25 seconds
- the exhaust speed in the heat treatment unit 200 is the primary blow molding unit 100.
- the high-speed exhaust is 3 to 5 times the exhaust speed in the final blow molding unit 300. By this high-speed exhaust, the intermediate molded product 30 can be contracted so as to be smaller in size than the final blow molded product 40.
- the bottom part 26 is cooled and solidified. Therefore, even if the exhaust is performed at a high speed, there is no deformation such as the bottom portion 26 turning over in the process of contracting away from the secondary bottom mold 206.
- the primary blow molding unit 200 and the final blow molding unit 300 can be conveyed by an inverted conveyance with the mouth 12 as a lower end, unlike FIGS. 3 and 9.
- the primary blow molding unit 100 and the final blow molding unit 300 as shown in FIG. 7, the primary blow molded product 20, the intermediate molded product 30 or the final blow molded product 40 is transported by a transport member 62 for transporting them. It is placed upside down.
- the conveying member 62 has a cam follower 68 that is fixed to the conveying chain 64 and moves along the rail 66 in order to circulate and convey on the molding apparatus 60 shown in FIG.
- the conveyance member 62 includes a hollow conveyance pin 70 (blow air introduction member) that enters the mouths of the molded products 20, 30, and 40.
- a seal piston 72 for supplying blow air to the conveying pin 70 in the primary blow molding process or the final blow molding process, and the seal piston 72 rises toward the conveying member 62 and seals it. It has become.
- the primary blow molding part 100 and the final blow molding part 300 have a cooled neck guide member 74 for positioning the mouth part 12.
- a seal piston 72 that can be moved up and down is provided. Rather than detaching the primary blow core mold 108 from the mouth portion 12, it is possible to release the seal by lowering only the seal piston 72 while maintaining the transport pin 70 at the mouth portion 12, so that the exhaust speed can be increased. Become. In FIG. 7, the extending rod is omitted, but the extending rod can be disposed through the conveying member 62 and the seal piston 72.
- a final blow molding section 300 shown in FIG. 9 is for finally blowing the intermediate molded product 30 with a heated final blow mold to obtain a final blow molded product 40.
- the final blow molding unit 300 includes a pair of final blow split molds 304, a final bottom mold 306, a final blow core mold 308, and a final stretching rod 310 that have the same function as each member provided in the primary blow molding unit 100.
- the cavity surface 304A of the pair of final blow split molds 304 and the cavity surface 306A of the final bottom mold 306 of the final blow molded part 300 have the same shape as the outer wall of the body 44 and the bottom 46 of the final blow molded product 40.
- the cavity surface 304A of the pair of final blow split molds 304 is slightly larger than the outer shape of the intermediate molded product 30, and the cavity surface 306A of the final bottom mold 306 is the cavity surface 106A of the primary bottom mold 106 and the secondary bottom mold 206. It has the same shape as the cavity surface 206A. This is because the final blow-molded portion 300 may have a minimum draw ratio for drawing out the intermediate molded product 30 that has been deflated after the distortion has been removed, into the shape of the final blow-molded product 40.
- the intermediate blow product mold 308 (in the case of inverted conveyance, the seal piston 72 in FIG. 6) is inserted into the intermediate molded product 30 centered by the final stretching rod 310 and the final bottom mold 306. High pressure air is introduced. Thereby, the shoulder portion 32, the body portion 34, and the bottom portion 36 of the intermediate molded product 30 are set in close contact with the cavity surfaces 304A and 306A and set to the shape of the final blow molded product 40.
- the final blow time for shape formation is longer than the blow time in the heat treatment section 200, and is about 15 to 30 seconds.
- the final blow pressure may be the same as the secondary blow pressure, but may be higher than the secondary blow pressure for shaping.
- the intermediate molded product 30 is maintained at a relatively high temperature, and the stretch ratio is low because of the final shape. Therefore, it is considered that almost no distortion occurs in the final blow molded product 40 during the final blow molding. However, since a new distortion may occur in the final blow-molded product 40 due to stretching at the time of final blow molding, the final blow-molded unit 300 is also provided with a heating unit.
- the pair of final blow split molds 304 and 304 of the final blow molding section 300 has a total of eight vertical holes, four in each split mold 304 at equal intervals in the circumferential direction. 312 is formed through.
- two sets of two vertical holes 312 and 312 are closed at the ends, for example, the upper end side, and are formed into bottomed horizontal holes 314. Communicated.
- a heat medium is supplied from the lower end side of the left vertical hole 312, and this heat medium flows into the adjacent vertical hole 312 through the horizontal hole 314.
- the lower end of the adjacent vertical hole 312 communicates with the adjacent vertical hole 312 via a mold mounting plate (not shown). Therefore, in each of the pair of final blow split dies 304 and 304, the four vertical holes 312 and the two horizontal holes 314 are communicated to form a heat medium passage.
- a pair of final blow split molds 304 and 304 can be heated by circulating and supplying the heat medium to the heat medium passage.
- thermocouples 318 are arranged in the eight vertical holes 316, and the heating temperature of the body 44 of the final blow-molded product 40 can be controlled by feeding back the measured temperature. it can.
- the heating temperature may be lower than the heating temperature in the heat treatment section 200, for example, 80 to 110 ° C. be able to. If the washing temperature of the large returnable container 40, which is the final blow-molded product, is 60 to 70 ° C., the heating temperature may be higher than the washing temperature, and may be 100 ° C. or less.
- the final blow molded product 40 was evacuated and taken out and allowed to stand for 40 hours.
- the final blow molded product 40 had no change in overall height or capacity.
- the exhaust speed in the final blow molding section 300 may be sufficiently slower than the exhaust speed in the heat treatment mold 200.
- the intermediate molded product 30 is also supplied to the final blow molding unit 300 by being inverted.
- the final blow molding unit 300 also uses the transport mechanism of FIG. However, in the final blow molding unit 300, the seal release operation of the seal piston 72 is performed at a low speed.
- a primary blow molding part (heat treatment part) 100A shown in FIG. 12 is provided instead of the primary blow molding part 100 shown in FIG. 3 and the heat treatment part 200 shown in FIG.
- the primary blow molding part (heat treatment part) 100A shown in FIG. 12 is added with the structures 212 to 224 for the heating part shown in FIGS. 4 to 6 in addition to all the structures of the primary blow molding part 100 shown in FIG. ing.
- the primary blow molded part 100A heat-sets the shoulder part 22 and the body part 24 of the primary blow molded article 20 through the cavity surface 102A at the same time as the preform 10 is blow molded to form the primary blow molded article 20.
- the shoulder zone and the trunk zone are thermally insulated to heat the shoulder at a temperature lower than that of the trunk.
- the highly stretched body is heat-set at a high temperature, the distortion generated during the primary blow molding is removed, and the thick shoulder at a relatively low stretch is heated at a low temperature.
- whitening due to spherulite crystallization can also be prevented.
- the intermediate blow molded product 30 having a size smaller than that of the final blow molded product 40 is formed by exhausting the primary blow molded product in the primary blow molded part (heat treatment part) 100A shown in FIG. Although the bottom portion 26 of the primary blow-molded product 20 immediately after the primary blow molding is warm, it is preferable that high-speed exhaust is performed at an exhaust speed at which the bottom portion 26 does not turn over.
- This intermediate molded product 30 is subjected to final blow molding in a final blow molding unit 300 shown in FIG. 9 to form a final blow molded product 40.
- the final blow molded article 40 obtained in the second embodiment is also a container in which heat resistance and transparency are balanced.
- the second embodiment is realized by supplying a preform from an existing preform injection molding machine to a molding machine that is equipped with a primary blow molding unit 100A and a final blow molding unit 300. It can. Or you may implement
- the second embodiment is different from the first embodiment in that the primary blow molding process and the heat treatment process are performed in the same mold as described above. For this reason, the temperature of the resin of the primary blow-molded product 20 is higher than that of the first embodiment due to the heat retained by the preform 10. For this reason, a container different from the first embodiment in terms of thickness adjustment, molding stability, and the like can be molded.
- the shoulder portion 22 and the bottom portion 26 of the primary blow molded product 20 of the second embodiment are more easily stretched than the secondary blow molding of the first embodiment due to the retained heat. Since the shoulder portion 22 and the bottom portion 26 of the primary blow-molded product 20 are easily extended, the body portion 24 is not excessively extended. Therefore, the thickness of the primary blow molded product 20 at the time of heat treatment in the second embodiment is different from the thickness of the secondary blow molded product 30 at the time of heat treatment in the first embodiment. Different characteristics of sex.
- the molding stability of the primary blow-molded product is better in the first embodiment than in the second embodiment.
- blow mold can be reduced by one as compared with the first embodiment. There is an advantage that does not increase in size.
- the first and second embodiments can be used properly depending on whether the user attaches importance to heat resistance or transparency, or whether the user can tolerate an increase in size of the apparatus.
- the secondary bottom mold 206 in FIG. 4 and the primary bottom mold 106 in FIG. 12 are not provided with a heating unit. Since the bottom part 26 of the primary blow-molded product 20 is also thick, it may be heated at a temperature lower than that of the body part 24 as with the shoulder part 26. In this way, whitening due to spherulite crystallization of the bottom portion 36 of the intermediate molded product 30 can be reduced or prevented.
- heating units disposed in the heat treatment units 100A and 200 and the final blow molding unit 300 may be changed to other various means capable of heating the molded product in the blow mold in addition to the rod heater and the heat medium passage. .
