L'invention concerne un emballage groupé destiné à contenir et à transporter un groupe de récipients qui se touchent à l'intérieur de l'emballage et qui présentent tous une fermeture qui déborde périphériquement du récipient, par exemple des capsules-couronnes de bouteilles ou des bords rabattus de canettes, l'emballage étant constitué d'un flan ou d'une ébauche plat(e), en particulier en carton ou en matière plastique, et comprenant une partie couvercle dans laquelle sont ménagées des ouvertures de réception et des entailles qui s'étendent radialement autour de ces dernières pour retenir les récipients directement en dessous des fermetures des récipients qui doivent être passées à travers les ouvertures de réception, et des parois latérales qui s'étendent face à face sur deux côtés de la partie couvercle. Dans la direction transversale par rapport à l'axe longitudinal (35) des récipients (36), les parois latérales (9) présentent en tout la longueur d'au moins la moitié de la périphérie du groupe (16) de récipients (36) et les parois latérales (9) sont reliées les unes aux autres de manière à former avec la partie de couvercle (7) un rabat (1) ouvert vers le bas dont la périphérie intérieure correspond à la périphérie du groupe (16) de récipients (36) au niveau de leur soutien assuré par les parois latérales (9), la zone marginale périphérique inférieure (12) des parois latérales (9) étant rabattue vers l'intérieur autour d'une ligne de rabat (18) et formant une zone marginale raidisseuse et de précontrainte (13) orientée vers l'intérieur.
