Definitions
- the present invention relates to a permanent magnet motor having a large number of permanent magnets in a rotor, and a washing machine using the permanent magnet motor.
- An inverter drive system that allows easy speed control is often employed for controlling a permanent magnet motor used in, for example, a drum-type washing machine.
- a magnetic sensor for detecting the magnetic pole position of a rotor having a permanent magnet as a magnetic pole is provided (for example, see Patent Document 1).
- the stator is driven according to the rotation of the drum, which is the load of the washing machine to be driven, at the time of low speed rotation (during the washing process and rinsing process) and high speed rotation (during the dehydration process). It is desired to properly adjust the amount of magnetic flux (induced voltage) of a permanent magnet interlinked with the stator coil.
- the permanent magnet provided in the rotor of the permanent magnet motor is generally constituted by one type. Therefore, the amount of magnetic flux of the permanent magnet is always constant. In this case, for example, if the rotor is composed only of a permanent magnet having a large coercive force, the induced voltage due to the permanent magnet at the time of high-speed rotation (during the dehydration process) becomes extremely high, which may cause dielectric breakdown of electronic components. On the other hand, if the rotor is composed only of permanent magnets having a small coercive force, the output during low-speed rotation (during the washing stroke and rinsing stroke) will be reduced.
- a permanent magnet motor that adjusts the amount of magnetic flux of the permanent magnet has been proposed (see, for example, Patent Document 2).
- this permanent magnet motor two types of permanent magnets having different coercive forces are arranged inside the rotor. Among them, the amount of magnetic flux of the permanent magnet is adjusted by demagnetizing or increasing the magnetization state of the low-coercivity permanent magnet with an external magnetic field (a magnetic field generated by a current flowing through the stator coil).
- both a permanent magnet having a large coercive force and a small permanent magnet are disposed in a portion constituting one magnetic pole inside the rotor. That is, one magnetic pole is formed by a plurality of types of permanent magnets. Therefore, the number of permanent magnets becomes extremely large, and the volume of each permanent magnet needs to be reduced, resulting in a complicated structure.
- a permanent magnet motor having a structure in which two types of permanent magnets having different coercive forces are arranged on the rotor at an appropriate ratio of one type per magnetic pole can be considered.
- the permanent magnet motor having this configuration is not publicly known.
- FIG. 10 shows a permanent magnet motor 100 based on the above idea.
- the permanent magnet motor 100 is an outer rotor type three-phase brushless DC motor, and includes a stator 101 and a rotor 102.
- the two poles of the stator 101 and the rotor 102 of the permanent magnet motor 100 are shown in a linear form.
- the stator 101 has a configuration in which a stator coil 104 (only one is shown) is wound around a stator core 103 having a large number of magnetic pole teeth 103a (only one is shown) in the circumferential direction.
- the rotor 102 has a configuration in which a permanent magnet is inserted into a rotor core 105 having a large number of magnet insertion holes 105a (only two are shown) in the circumferential direction.
- the permanent magnet is selected from two types of permanent magnets 106a and 106b having different coercive forces so that there is one type per magnetic pole.
- a permanent magnet 106a having a low coercive force is inserted into one (left side in the figure) magnet delivery hole 105a in a state where, for example, the stator 101 side has an N pole.
- a high coercivity permanent magnet 106b is inserted, for example, with the stator 101 side being an S pole.
- a protruding portion 105b (magnetic pole portion) protruding in an arc shape toward the stator 101 side is formed in a portion corresponding to the permanent magnets 106a and 106b.
- the concave portion 107 extending to between the adjacent permanent magnets 106a and 106b, more specifically, the radial direction of the permanent magnet motor 100 at the substantially central portion between the adjacent permanent magnets 106a and 106b.
- a recess 107 extending in the direction is formed.
- this recessed part 107 is located in the outer peripheral side rather than the center line 108 which connects the boundary line of the N pole and S pole of the permanent magnet 106a, and the boundary line of the N pole and S pole of the permanent magnet 106b. To do.
- the Hall ICs “H1”, “H2”, and “H3”, which are magnetic sensors for three phases, are arranged on one end face side in the axial direction of the rotor 102 and have an electrical angle of 120 degrees from each other.
- the Hall ICs “H1”, “H2”, and “H3” are connected to the line between the N pole and the S pole of the permanent magnet 106a (center line 108) and the N pole, and the N of the permanent magnet 106b. This corresponds to a trajectory 109 that is a line connecting a boundary line (center line 108) between the pole and the S pole and a line between the S pole.
- the permanent magnet motor 100 shown in FIG. 10 is a reference example and is not known.
- the Hall ICs “H1”, “H2”, and “H3” move relatively leftward on the locus 109 (in the direction opposite to the arrow X direction).
- the Hall ICs “H1”, “H2”, and “H3” output a high level detection signal corresponding to the magnetic pole position of the rotor 102. Based on these detection signals, the stator coils 104 of the respective phases are energized, whereby the rotor 102 rotates.
- the rotation speed of the drum is low during the washing process and the rinsing process in the washing operation, and the permanent magnet motor 100 requires a low-speed rotation and a high torque. Therefore, in order to increase the magnetic flux of the permanent magnet 106a, magnetization is performed. During the dehydration process, the rotation speed of the drum is high, and the permanent magnet motor 100 requires low torque and high speed rotation. Therefore, demagnetization is performed in order to reduce the magnetic flux of the permanent magnet 106a.
- the boundary line has an angle A (mechanical angle) toward the weak magnetic force Ma around the center point O.
- the boundary line La is shifted by a distance. Further, the boundary line La is shifted in the range of an angle B (mechanical angle) with respect to the boundary line La due to the influence of the magnetic force Mc from the stator coil 104, and changes like the boundary lines Lb and Lc, for example.
- the locus 109 of relative movement of the Hall ICs “H1”, “H2”, and “H3” passes through the above space (the space that is located closer to the stator 101 than the back of the recess 107). Pass through. For this reason, the detection signals of the Hall ICs “H1”, “H2”, and “H3” are shifted due to the difference in the strengths of the magnetic forces Ma and Mb of the permanent magnets 106a and 106b. Then, it is conceivable that the current waveform of each phase of the stator coil 104 energized based on these detection signals also shifts and torque ripple occurs.
- An object of the present invention is to provide a simple configuration using a permanent magnet selected from a plurality of types of permanent magnets having different coercive forces so that the amount of magnetic flux of the permanent magnet is adjusted to one type per magnetic pole. It is an object of the present invention to provide a permanent magnet motor capable of preventing the occurrence of torque ripple caused by the difference in magnetic force, and a washing machine equipped with the permanent magnet motor.
- a stator coil of each phase is wound around a stator core, and a magnetic pole tooth corresponding to the stator coil of each phase is formed, and a large number of magnet insertion holes are formed in the circumferential direction.
- a rotor in which a permanent magnet that forms a magnetic pole corresponding to the magnetic pole teeth of the stator is inserted in the magnet insertion hole, and a magnetic sensor that detects the magnetic pole position of the rotor, A plurality of types of permanent magnets having different coercive forces are selected and inserted so as to be one type per pole, and the stator side is positioned at a position located between two permanent magnets adjacent to each other and having different coercive forces.
- a magnetic flux flow path protruding into the magnetic field is formed, and the magnetic sensor relatively moves on a trajectory corresponding to the permanent magnet and the magnetic flux flow path according to the rotation of the rotor. Characterized in that it is configured to.

That is, the washing machine of the present invention is characterized in that the washing machine load is rotationally driven by the permanent magnet motor of the present invention.

Accordingly, the control device performs a washing operation for washing the laundry stored in the drum 3. The control device stops the drum 3 after performing the washing operation for a predetermined time.
- a water supply valve not shown
- a water supply operation for supplying and storing water in the water tank 2 and thus in the drum 3.
- the control device rotates the drum 3 forward and backward at a low rotation speed (for example, 50 to 60 rpm) by the motor 4 while the detergent is put in the water tank 2. Accordingly, the control device performs a washing operation for washing the laundry stored in
- the control device opens a drain valve (not shown) that is a washing machine load connected to the outlet of the water tank 2. Accordingly, the control device performs a draining operation for discharging the water in the water tank 2 (in the drum 3) to the outside of the apparatus.
- control device performs intermediate dehydration in the washing process.
- the control device rotates the drum 3 at a high speed (for example, 1500 rpm) in one direction by the motor 4.

- the control device performs a rinsing operation.
- the control device performs control similar to the washing operation except that no detergent is used. That is, the control device performs a rinsing operation of the laundry in the drum 3 for a predetermined time by rotating the drum 3 forward and backward at a low rotational speed (for example, 50 to 60 rpm) by the motor 4.
- the control device performs a draining operation similar to that described above.

- the control device rotates the drum 3 at a high speed (for example, 1000 rpm) in one direction by the motor 4.
- a high speed for example, 1000 rpm
- the laundry in the drum 3 is centrifugally dehydrated.
- Moisture discharged from the laundry is discharged from the outlet to the outside of the machine.
- the control device increases the magnetism in order to increase the magnetic flux of the permanent magnet 14 of the motor 4.
- the control device applies a voltage of, for example, +500 V to the stator coil 10 so that the magnetic flux of the permanent magnet 14 is increased to the maximum, and the magnetic flux is maintained even when the application of the voltage is canceled. To do. Thereby, the magnetic flux as the whole rotor 5 which acts with respect to the stator 7 increases.
- the control device rotates the drum 3 at a low speed by the motor 4 and executes a washing operation in the washing process.
- the motor 4 can exhibit high torque.
- the normal operating voltage to the stator coil 10 is in the range of about ⁇ 200V. Therefore, during normal operation, the magnetic flux does not change even with the low coercivity permanent magnet 14.
- the control device performs demagnetization in order to reduce the magnetic flux of the permanent magnet 14, for example, in the draining operation before intermediate dehydration. Specifically, the control device applies a voltage slightly higher than ⁇ 500 V, for example, to the stator coil 10 to reduce the magnetic flux of the permanent magnet 14 to near 0 (zero) and cancel the voltage application. The magnetic flux is maintained. As a result, the magnetic flux of the entire rotor 5 acting on the stator 7 is reduced. In this state, the control device rotates the drum 3 at a high speed by the motor 4 to perform intermediate dehydration.
- the motor 4 is suitable for low torque and high speed rotation.
- the normal operating voltage to the stator coil 10 is in the range of about ⁇ 200V. Therefore, during normal operation, the magnetic flux does not change even with the low coercivity permanent magnet 14.
- the rotation speed of the drum 3 (motor 4) is low (50 to 60 rpm), and the motor 4 requires low speed rotation and high torque, as in the washing operation of the rinsing process. . Therefore, for example, in the water supply operation before the rinsing operation, the control device performs the same magnetization as described above in order to increase the magnetic flux of the permanent magnet 14. In such a state where the magnetization is increased, the control device performs a rinsing operation.
- the control device performs demagnetization similar to that described above. In such a demagnetized state, the control device performs a dehydration process.

- the magnetic flux flow passage 22 protruding to the stator 7 side is formed in a portion located between the permanent magnets 14 and 15 of the rotor core 13. Therefore, the locus 21 along which the Hall ICs “H1”, “H2”, and “H3” move relatively passes through the magnetic flux flow path 22.
- the concave portion 19 between the projecting portions 18 and 18 corresponding to the adjacent permanent magnets 15 and 15 is also formed in the same manner.
- the magnetic force Ma of the low coercivity permanent magnet 14 is weaker than the magnetic force Mb of the high coercivity permanent magnet 15 (Ma ⁇ Mb) occurs.
- the boundary line Lo between the magnetic forces Ma and Mb is the center point O at the back of the recess 19 and the center point of the rotor 5.
- the saturation magnetic force is extremely large.
- the boundary line has an angle A (mechanical angle) around the center point O toward the weakly magnetic side Ma. ) Is shifted by a boundary line La.
- the boundary line La is affected by the magnetic force Mc from the stator coil 10 and is shifted in the range of an angle B (mechanical angle) with respect to the boundary line La.
- the boundary line La changes like the boundary lines Lb and Lc.
- the locus 21 of relative movement of the Hall ICs “H1”, “H2”, and “H3” passes through the space (the space located on the stator 7 side from the inner part of the recess 19). Instead, it passes over the magnetic flux flow path 22 located on the opposite side of the stator 7 from the back of the recess 19. Since the magnetic flux flow path 22 is a part of the rotor core 13, the magnetic permeability is high and the saturation magnetic force is small. Therefore, the magnetic flux flow path 22 is magnetically saturated and becomes constant regardless of the difference in strength between the magnetic forces Ma and Mb. That is, in this embodiment, the Hall ICs “H1”, “H2”, and “H3” are not affected by the boundary lines La, Lb, and Lc.
- FIG. 6 shows a waveform diagram of each part.
- (a) is a detection signal of the Hall IC “H1”
- (b) is a detection signal of the Hall IC “H2”
- (c) is a detection signal of the Hall IC “H3”.
- a voltage is applied to each U-phase, V-phase, and W-phase of the stator coil 10 during the high level periods of the detection signals of the Hall ICs “H1”, “H2”, and “H3”, and current flows (180). Degree energization method). Therefore, for example, a current flows in the U phase of the stator coil 10 as shown by the waveform shown in FIG.
- the Hall ICs “H1”, “H2”, and “H3” are not affected by the boundary lines La, Lb, and Lc caused by the difference in strength between the magnetic forces Ma and Mb. Therefore, the detection signals of the Hall ICs “H1”, “H2”, and “H3” are shifted from each other by 120 degrees in electrical angle as indicated by solid lines in FIGS. 6 (a), (b), and (c). In this state, it becomes high level for a period of 180 degrees. Therefore, for example, a positive (+) half-wave sine wave current flows in the U phase of the stator coil 10 as shown by a solid line in FIG. .
- the Hall ICs “H1”, “H2”, and “H3” are affected by the boundary lines La, Lb, and Lc. Therefore, for example, the U-phase Hall IC “H1” of the stator coil 104 has an angle A (mechanical angle) when the detection signal falls from a high level to a low level, as indicated by a broken line in FIG. ) By an angle C (electrical angle), and further by an angle D (electrical angle) corresponding to an angle B (mechanical angle). Accordingly, the current flowing in the U phase of the stator coil 104 does not become 0 (zero) but remains positive (+) at an electrical angle of 180 degrees as indicated by a broken line in FIG. This is a cause of torque ripple in the permanent magnet motor 100 of the reference example.
- the split cores 13 ⁇ / b> A and 13 ⁇ / b> B in the rotor 5 have a low-coercivity permanent magnet 14 that can be easily changed, and a permanent magnet 15 having a coercivity higher than that of the permanent magnet 14.
- a control apparatus magnetizes the permanent magnet 14 so that the magnetic flux of the rotor 5 which acts with respect to the stator 7 may increase at the time of a washing process and a rinse process. Further, the control device controls the permanent magnet 14 so that the magnetic flux of the rotor 5 acting on the stator 7 is reduced during the dehydration stroke and during the intermediate dehydration during the washing stroke as compared with the washing stroke and the rinsing stroke.
- the magnetic flux of the rotor 5 acting on the stator 7 can be increased, and the motor 4 that drives the washing machine load (drum 3) can rotate at a low speed necessary for washing and rinsing. High torque can be obtained. Further, in the dehydration stroke and the intermediate dehydration, the magnetic flux of the rotor 5 acting on the stator 7 can be reduced as compared with the washing stroke and the rinsing stroke, and the motor 4 driving the load (drum 3) Performance suitable for low torque and high-speed rotation required
- a magnetic flux flow passage 22 protruding toward the stator 7 is formed at a portion of the rotor core 13 located between the adjacent permanent magnets 14 and 15.
- the locus 21 along which the Hall ICs “H1”, “H2”, and “H3” move relatively passes through the magnetic flux flow path 22.
- the magnetic flux flow passage 22 is a part of the rotor core 13 and has a high magnetic permeability and a small saturation magnetic force. Therefore, the magnetic flux saturation passage 22 becomes magnetically saturated and becomes constant regardless of the difference in strength between the magnetic forces Ma and Mb. Therefore, the Hall ICs “H1”, “H2”, and “H3” can output normal detection signals without being affected by the boundaries La, Lb, and Lc. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the motor 4 from generating torque ripple due to the difference in strength between the magnetic forces Ma and Mb.
- the Hall ICs “H1”, “H2”, and “H3” are lines between the boundary line (center line 20) between the N pole and the S pole of the permanent magnet 14 and the S pole (the side opposite to the stator 7).
- a trajectory 21 that is a line connecting a boundary line (center line 20) between the N pole and S pole of the permanent magnet 15 and a line between the N pole (opposite side of the stator 7).
- the Hall ICs “H1”, “H2”, and “H3” pass through positions on the opposite side of the permanent magnets 14 and 15 from the stator 7 side. Therefore, the Hall ICs “H1”, “H2”, and “H3” are not affected by the magnetic force Mc from the stator coil 10 of the stator 7.
- (Second embodiment) 8 and 9 show a second embodiment of the present invention.
- the same parts as those in the first embodiment (see particularly FIG. 1) are denoted by the same reference numerals.
- the rotor core 13 is formed by laminating a large number of iron core materials.
- adjacent permanent magnets 14, 15 are disposed on the first iron core 131 located on one end face side of both end portions in the axial direction of the rotor core 13.
- a recess 19 and a magnetic flux flow path 22 are formed between them.
- the n-th iron core material 13 n located on the other end face side of the both axial end portions of the rotor core 13 is located between the adjacent permanent magnets 14, 15. 19 and a magnetic flux flow passage 22 are formed.
- a recess 23 similar to the recess 107 of the rotor core 105 of the reference example shown in FIG. 10 is formed on the second core core material 132 to the (n-1) th core material 13n-1.
- the concave portion 23 is formed so that the inner portion thereof is positioned on the outer peripheral side with respect to the locus 21 of the Hall ICs “H1”, “H2”, and “H3”. Therefore, the magnetic flux flow passage 22 is not formed in the iron core material 132 to the iron core material 13n-1.
- the magnetic flux flowing through the magnetic flux flow passage 22 becomes a leakage magnetic flux that does not act on the stator coil 10 of the stator 7.
- the first iron core 131 located on one end face side of both end parts in the axial direction of the rotor core 13 and the other end face side of both end parts in the axial direction are located.
- the magnetic flux flow passage 22 is provided only in the nth iron core material 13n. Therefore, there exists an advantage which can reduce the leakage magnetic flux by the magnetic flux flow path 22 as much as possible.
- this invention is not limited to each Example shown above and shown in drawing, The following deformation
- the concave portions 19 are also provided in the high coercivity permanent magnets 15, 15 adjacent in the rotor core 13.
- a recess 23 as shown in the second embodiment may be provided between the permanent magnets 15 and 15.
- the recesses 19 are provided in the first iron core 131 and the nth iron core 13n at both ends of the rotor core 13 in the axial direction.
- the concave portions 19 may be provided in a plurality of iron core materials respectively positioned at both end portions in the axial direction.
- the rotor core was composed of a combination of split cores. This configuration may be applied as necessary.
- the present invention can be applied not only to a drum type washing machine but also to all washing machines.
- the present invention is useful for a permanent magnet motor having a large number of permanent magnets in a rotor and a washing machine using the permanent magnet motor.
- 1 is a drum type washing machine (washing machine), 3 is a drum (washing machine load), 4 is a permanent magnet motor, 5 is a rotor, 7 is a stator, 8 is a magnetic pole tooth, 9 is a stator core, 9A is a divided core, 10 is A stator coil, 13 is a rotor core, 13A and 13B are split cores, 131 to 13n are iron cores, 14 is a low coercivity permanent magnet, 15 is a high coercivity permanent magnet, 17 is a magnet insertion hole, and 18 is a protrusion (magnetic pole). Abstract
