  • the invention relates to a protective cover against hailstorm, which is particularly intended for motor vehicles.
  • the protective cover is composed of several layers and is for single use.

  • the expanded "FAVOR" superabsorbent has an even faster absorption rate and absorbs water up to 13 times its own mass within 5 seconds, a characteristic commonly used in baby diapers and sanitary napkins the fact that the volume of the superabsorbent in contact with water also grows analogously and correspondingly rapidly remains secondary.
  • the invention has for its object to design a protective cover intended for single use, which should serve to protect the vehicles against hailstorm and which can be easily ridden as car accessories.

At the end of 5 s, ice balls of 25 to 30 g were dropped from a height of 35 m onto the covered roof. It turned out that these ice balls had not damaged the shape and surface treatment of the roof in the least after 5 seconds from soaking the ceiling.

  • the operator removes the blanket from the vacuum package, partially widening it, exposing the adhesive tabs on one of the shorter sides and thereby securing the blanket to the front or rear bumper. Then he pulls the blanket over the car and tucks it to the other bumper. Then the ceiling is glued with its longer sides to the thresholds or wheels. Before the hailstorm comes, the blanket absorbs the rainwater, increasing in volume and mass, ready to withstand the hailstorm. It is also possible to water the ceiling in advance, preferably on the horizontal and sloping surfaces. After no more danger, the ceiling is removed and disposed of environmentally friendly.
