Description

강판의 소둔장치, 이를 포함한 도금강판의 제조장치 및 이를 이용한 도금강판의 제조방법
고강도의 용융아연도금강판 및 합금화 용융아연도금강판과 같은 도금강판을 제조하기 위한 강판의 소둔장치, 이를 포함한 도금강판의 제조장치 및 이를 이용한 도금강판의 제조방법이 제공된다. 보다 상세하게는 용융도금 처리 공정에서 소둔장치의 가스 분위기를 제어함으로써 도금강판의 도금 품질을 대폭 향상시킬 수 있는 용융아연도금강판 및 합금화 용융아연도금 강판과 같은 용융도금강판을 제조하기 위한 강판의 소둔장치, 이를 포함한 도금강판의 제조장치 및 이를 이용한 도금강판의 제조방법이 제공된다.
최근 환경 문제가 중요시 됨에 따라 자동차의 연비 규제도 강화되고, 연비 향상을 위한 대응 방안으로 자동차의 경량화 방법이 다각도로 모색되고 있다. 이를 위하여 철강사에서는 자동차의 소재로 사용되는 강판의 중량을 저감시키면서 아울러 안전성의 보증을 위한 고강도화에 많은 노력을 기울이는 추세이다.
이러한 추세에 맞추어 최근 자동차 차체용 고강도 용융아연도금 강판의 수요가 크게 증가하고 있다. 그러나 통상적으로 P, Mn 등의 고용강화 원소를 이용하는 고강도강 제조방법은 강도 및 경량화에는 어느 정도 도움이 되지만, 다양한 형태를 필요로 하는 자동차용 부품으로 가공하기에는 한계가 있다.
따라서, 성형시에는 가공성이 우수하여 복잡한 형태의 자동차 부품 성형도 가능하면서, 성형이 끝난 이후에는 높은 강도를 나타내는 특성을 가진 강이 요구된다. 이러한 강종으로는, 최근에 개발되었고 일부 상용화되고 있는 이상조직강(Dual Phase Steel, DP강), 변태 유기 소성강(Transformation Induced Plasticity Steel: TRIP강) 등의 신고강도강(Advanced High Strength Steel: AHSS)이 있다. 이러한 신고강도강은 Si, Mn, Al 등의 원소를 다량 함유하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는데, Si는 강의 강도를 크게 감소시키지 않고 연성을 유지시킬 수 있는 원소로 작용하기 때문에 이러한 특성을 얻기 위하여 자주 첨가된다.
그러나 강의 합금원소로 Si이 약 0.1wt% 이상 첨가되면, 통상적인 방법으로 제조된 용융아연도금 강판은 미도금(bare spot)이나 외관 불량이 쉽게 발생하는 문제점을 나타낸다. 이는 용융아연도금 강판의 제조 공정 중 하나인 소둔 공정의 분위기에서 기인한다. 소둔 공정은 5vol% 이상의 수소와 나머지 질소를 함유한 환원성 분위기를 유지한 채 약 800℃ 수준의 고온으로 열처리를 실시하는데(JP1999-323443 및 US 5137586 참고), 이러한 고온 열처리 과정에서 Si는 강판의 표면으로 확산된다. 따라서 강 표면의 Si 농도는 강 전체의 평균적인 Si 농도보다 10~100배 정도 높아지게 되고, 강판의 표면에 농화된 Si는 로내 분위기 중의 수분이나 불순물과 반응하여 SiO2산화물 피막을 형성하게 된다.
용융아연도금 공정에서 강판의 표면에 형성된 SiO2 산화물 피막은 강판의 용융아연도금성(Wettability, 젖음성)을 크게 저하시키고, 결국 우수한 도금성의 확보는 곤란할 수 밖에 없다. 이는 표면에 다발적인 미도금 현상을 일으키거나, 도금이 되더라도 도금밀착성을 크게 열화시켜 부품으로 가공시 도금층이 떨어져 나가는 도금 박리 현상의 원인으로 작용하게 된다.
참고로 Si, Mn 등에 의한 표면 농화는 다음과 같은 반응식에 의해 일어나게 된다.
Fe2O3 + 3H2 -> 2Fe + 3H2O
Si + 2H2O -> SiO2 + 2H2
Mn + H2O -> MnO + H2
(단, Fe2O3 : FeO, Fe3O4, Fe(OH)x, O 및 기타 산화물)
Si, Mn 등으로 인한 고강도강의 도금성 문제를 해결하기 위하여 기존에 다양한 종래 기술이 나타난 바 있다. 예컨대, 용융아연도금욕의 Al 첨가량을 증가시켜 소지철과 도금층 계면에 Zn-Fe-Al-Si계 및 Fe-Al-Si계의 합금층 생성량을 증가시키는 기술이다. 이러한 합금층은 합금 원소의 산화층을 환원시키므로 계면에서 합금 원소의 산화 피막으로 인한 용융도금 젖음성 저하를 억제할 수 있다고 한다. 그러나 도금욕내 Al을 무조건 증가시키는 것은 곤란한데, 그 이유는 Al의 증가는 미니스팡글 강판의 제조시, 도금욕에 불가피하게 불순물로 첨가되는 Pb함께 입계 부식의 원인이 될 수 있기 때문이다. 입계 부식은 도금 박리를 일으킬 수 있으며, 나아가 도금욕내 Al의 증가는 강판 가공시 용접성에 좋지 않기 때문에, 본 종래기술은 실제로 적용하기에는 곤란한 점이 많다.
또한, 다른 종래 기술로는 Si 첨가강의 도금성을 향상하기 위해 직화로(Direct Fired Furnace)에서 과잉의 공기를 투입하여 산화 피막을 형성한 후, 10vol%H2-90vol%H2 환원분위기의 가열로(RTS)에서 환원처리를 함으로써 도금성을 크게 향상시키는 기술이 나타난 바 있다. 일례로, 직화로에서 공기비를 통상의 0.9에서 1.05로 증가시켜 철산화물 두께를 증가시킨 후, 환원 열처리하면 순수한 철층이 강판표면에 형성되므로 안정적인 도금성 확보가 가능하다는 것이다. 그러나, 본 종래 기술 역시 문제점이 존재하는데, 만일 산화 피막의 두께를 정밀하게 조절하지 못하면 두꺼워진 피막층에 의하여 오히려 도금 박리가 발생할 수 있다는 것이다. 반대로, 산화 피막이 얇아 환원 처리에 의해 완전 환원되면, Si는 강판 표면에 그대로 농화되어 아연도금층이 강판 표면에 강하게 밀착되지 못하거나 미도금이 발생하게 된다. 따라서, 직화로에서 철산화물의 두께를 매우 정밀하게 조절하여야 한다.
이러한 산화-환원 열처리에 대한 종래 기술 중 하나가 JP2001-226742이다. 상기 종래 기술에서는 산화열처리 과정에서 산화 피막을 0.02~1㎛ 두께로 형성한 후, 환원 공정에서 이를 완전 환원시켜 도금성을 확보하는 것을 내용으로 한다. 또한 JP1994-172953 및 JP1994-172954에서는 환원 열처리 후 산화 피막이 0.02~0.2㎛ 두께로 잔존하나, 도금욕 내 Al에 의해서 완전 환원되는 것으로 나타나 있다.
그러나 산화-환원법에 대한 상기 특허 기술들은 산화열처리시 형성되는 철산화물의 조성, 두께, 환원 열처리에 잔류하는 철산화피막의 조성, 기공율(porosity) 등을 정밀하게 제어하는 것이 쉽지 않은바, 조업 조건이나 기타 외부적인 요인에 의하여 도금성이 크게 차이를 보일 수 밖에 없다는 문제점이 존재한다.
따라서, 본 발명자들은 상술한 바와 같은 종래 기술들의 문제점을 해결하면서 추가적인 비용이나 설비 없이도 안정적이고 우수한 도금층을 확보할 수 있는 획기적인 용융도금강판 및 합금화 용융아연도금강판을 제공하기 위한 소둔장치, 이를 포함한 도금강판의 제조장치 및 이를 이용한 도금강판의 제조방법을 제공하고자 한다.
본 발명의 일 견지에 의하면, 1 이상의 섹션을 포함하는 소둔장치에 있어서, 상기 1 이상의 섹션에 비환원성 분위기 또는 약환원성 분위기의 가스가 충진된 소둔장치 및 이를 포함하는 도금강판의 제조장치가 제공된다. 이 경우, 상기 가스는 100vol% 질소(N2) 또는 3vol% 이하의 수소(H2) 및 97vol% 이상의 질소를 포함하는 약환원성 가스일 수 있으며, 상기 소둔장치는 예열 섹션, 가열 섹션, 소킹 섹션, 서냉 섹션, 급냉 섹션, 오버 에이징 섹션, 재가열 섹션, 최종 냉각 섹션 중 1 이상을 포함할 수 있다. 또한, 상기 가스는 예열 섹션, 가열 섹션, 소킹 섹션, 서냉 섹션, 급냉 섹션, 오버 에이징 섹션, 재가열 섹션, 최종 냉각 섹션 중 1 이상의 섹션에 충진될 수 있다.
나아가, 본 발명의 다른 견지에 의하면, 1 이상의 섹션을 포함하는 소둔장치내의 비환원성 분위기 또는 약환화성 분위기의 가스를 포함하는 1 이상의 섹션에서 소둔 처리하여 용융도금강판 또는 합금화 용융도금강판으로 제조하는 일련의 단계를 포함하는 도금강판의 제조방법이 제공된다. 또한 상기 1 이상의 섹션은 열처리 또는 냉각방식에 따라 구분되며, 상기 소둔장치에서 비환원성 분위기 또는 약환원성 분위기의 가스를 포함하는 1 이상의 섹션을 갖는 연속소둔라인(CAL, Continuous Annealing Line)에서 생산된 용융도금용 소재강판의 제조방법이 제공된다. 이 경우, 상기 소둔처리는 예열 단계, 가열 단계, 소킹 단계, 서냉 단계, 급냉 단계, 오버 에이징 단계, 재가열 단계, 최종냉각 단계 가운데 1개 이상을 포함하는 일련의 단계일 수 있으며, 상기 가스는 100vol%의 질소 가스이거나 3vol% 이하의 수소(H2) 및 97vol% 이상의 질소(N2)를 포함하는 가스일 수 있다.
본 발명에 의하면, 추가적인 산화-환원 열처리 공정이나 고가의 합금원소를 추가적으로 첨가하지 않아도 기존의 소둔설비 및 열처리 사이클을 이용하여 용융도금강판에 대한 도금성, 합금화성, 내픽업성, 도금밀착성, 내플레이킹성(Anti-flaking), 내크레이터성(Anti-crater), 내애쉬성(Anti-ash) 등의 도금 품질이 대폭 향상될 수 있다. 또한 우수한 품질을 경제적이고 용이하게 확보할 수 있어 그 용도가 다양하며 비용 절감 측면에서 효과적이다.

용융도금강판 또는 합금화 용융도금강판을 제조하는 장치 및 공정, 또는 용융도금용 소재를 공급하기 위한 연속소둔장치 및 공정 또는 용융도금장치 또는 공정에 포함되는 소둔장치의 각 섹션 중 적어도 한 섹션을 기술적으로 제어하여 소둔 장치 내부 분위기를 비환원성 분위기 또는 약환화성 분위기로 유지하여 강판을 소둔시키며, 이하, 본 발명의 구체적인 실시 형태를 첨부된 도면을 참고하여 보다 상세히 설명한다.
용융도금라인 및 연속소둔라인의 소둔공정은 강판을 열처리하여 재질 특성을 확보하고 강판의 표면을 환원시켜 도금성을 확보하기 위한 공정 중 하나로 널리 사용되고 있다.
통상의 소둔공정에서 강판의 열처리는 주로 5vol% 이상의 수소(H2) 및 잔부 질소(N2)인 환원성 분위기에서 수행된다. 즉, 도 1의 예열 섹션(PHS, Pre Heating Section, 101)부터 최종 냉각 섹션(FCS, Final Cooling Section, 106)까지 강판이 연속적으로 통과할 때, 각 섹션은 환원성 분위기로 유지되면서 예열 단계, 가열 단계, 소킹 단계, 서냉 단계, 급냉 단계 및 최종 냉각 단계 중 일부 또는 전부를 거치게 되며, 이러한 일련의 단계에서 각각의 역할에 따라 강판을 가열하거나 냉각하여 연속적인 소둔처리가 된다.
그러나 본 발명자들의 연구에 의하면, 상기 소둔공정의 열처리가 실시되는 환원성 분위기에서는 산화된 Fe가 환원되면서 수분이 발생하고, 발생한 수분이 강의 합금 원소로 첨가된 Si, Mn, Al, B 등과 반응을 일으키게 되는 사실을 발견하였다. 수분과 반응한 합금원소들은 강판의 표면에 SiO2, MnO, MnO2, Mn2SiO4, B2O3, Al2O3 등과 같은 산화물 피막을 형성하게 되고, 이러한 산화물 피막은 용융아연도금 공정에서 용융아연과의 도금성 또는 젖음성(Wettability)을 크게 저하시킨다는 사실을 알게 되었다.
결국 통상의 소둔공정은 산화된 강판의 표면과 그 표면에 존재하는 오염물을 환원시킴으로써 강판 표면의 도금성을 향상시키는 것이 목적이었으나, 이러한 수소 분위기에서의 소둔이 오히려 강 내부에 존재하는 Si, Mn, Al, B 등의 강산화성 원소들을 강판 극 표면으로 확산(도5(a), (b) 및 (c) 참고)시키고, 극 표면으로 이동한 이들 합금 원소들의 농도가 높아짐에 따라 표면의 산화가 가속되는 결과를 가져오는 것이다. 이러한 극 표면에 산화물 피막이 형성되어 도금성이 저해되는 역효과가 나타나고 도6에 나타난 (c) 및 (d)와 같이 도금강판의 품질 향상도 어느 수준 이상은 곤란하게 된다.
따라서 본 발명자들은 연속 용융도금 장치 및 연속 소둔 장치로 소둔공정을 수행하는 일련의 공정 및 장치에서 소재를 열처리하는 경우, 소둔장치 내부를 전부 또는 일부 비환원성 분위기(도 5 (a) 및 (b) 참고)로 조성하여 열처리를 실시하는 경우에 대한 연구를 하였고, 이러한 방법으로 도금성이 우수한 도금 강판을 제조할 수 있는 장치 및 방법을 완성하기에 이르렀다. 적용이 가능한 강판은 특별히 제한되지 않으며, 바람직하게는 GI 강판(Zn-0.2%Al, 용융아연도금강판), GA 강판(Zn-0.2%Al, 합금화 용융아연도금강판), GL 강판(Zn-55%Al, 갈바늄도금강판), AL 강판(Al-5%Si, 알루미늄도금강판) 및 MG 강판(Zn-3%Mg-2%Al, 아연마그네슘계도금강판) 중 하나일 수 있다.
즉, 1 이상의 섹션을 포함하는 소둔 장치 내부를 각 섹션마다 다양한 분위기를 형성하여 도금성이 우수한 강판을 제조하는 방법을 실험한 결과, 소둔시 분위기를 100vol% 질소로 구비된 비환원성 분위기 또는 3vol% 이하의 수소 및 97vol% 이상의 질소로 구성된 약환원성 분위기로 조성하면 가장 우수한 도금성을 구비한 도금 강판을 제조할 수 있다는 결론을 얻었다.
소둔로 내부의 수소 농도는 3vol% 이하로 유지하고, 바람직하게는 0vol%로 제어하는 경우, 강판의 표면에 산화물의 피복율이 현저하게 감소하였다. 수소 농도가 3vol%를 초과하고 질소농도가 97vol% 미만으로 낮아지면 소둔 열처리를 실시한 강판의 표면에 산화물의 피복율이 증가하여 용융도금을 실시할 경우 도금성이 불량해질 수 있다.
또한 소둔 설비의 열처리 또는 냉각 방식에 따라 구분되는 각 섹션을 강판이 연속적으로 통과하면서 열처리가 이루어질 때, 각 섹션 중 적어도 1 섹션에서 비환원성 또는 약환원성 분위기가 적용된다. 다수의 섹션에서 비환원성 또는 약환원성 분위기를 적용하는 것은 효율면에서는 우수하지만, 극심하게 산화된 소재 강판을 소둔하거나, 소둔로 내부의 산화성 분위기 형성 방지 또는 내애쉬성(Anti-ash) 등의 조업적 측면을 고려하여 도금 공정, 규모 등에 맞추어 어느 1 이상의 연속 또는 단절된 섹션에서 부분적으로 적용하는 것도 가능하다.
보다 바람직하게는 도1에 나타난 소둔로를 기준으로, 예열 섹션(101)~서냉 섹션(SCS, Slow Cooling Section, 104) 중 1 이상의 섹션에서 적용되는 것이 급냉 섹션(RCS, Rapid Cooling Section, 105)~최종 냉각 섹션(106)에서 적용하는 것보다 우수한 결과를 나타냈다.
나아가 도1과 같은 일반적인 연속 소둔 라인 이외에도, 도3에 나타난 바와 같이 급냉 섹션(105) 및 최종 냉각 섹션(106) 사이에 오버 에이징 섹션(OAS, Over Aging Section, 309), 재가열 섹션(RHS, Re-Heating Section, 310) 또는 가열 기능, 유지 기능 및 냉각 기능을 갖는 다른 종류의 섹션이 추가로 포함되어 있는 공정에 대해서도 적용이 가능하다. 또한, 연속 소둔 라인의 각 섹션별로 가열, 유지 및 냉각하는 장치와 방법이 다양할 수 있고, 필요에 따라서 추가적인 섹션이 더 존재할 수도 있지만, 그 효과에는 큰 차이가 없다. 즉, 도 1에 나타나지 않은 추가된 섹션에서 비환원성 또는 약환원성 분위기를 적용하는 것도 가능하며, 도1에 나타난 6가지 섹션 중 일부가 제외된 소둔로라도 문제가 되지 않는다.
예열 섹션(101), 가열 섹션(HS, Heating Section, 102), 재가열 섹션(310) 등과 같은 가열장치는 유도 가열로(Induction Heater), 적외선 가열로(Infrared Heater), 복사관 가열로(Radiant Tube Burner), 초음파 가열로 기타 어떠한 종류의 가열 장치라도 무관하며, 또는 이들이 혼합된 장치를 사용할 수 있다. 또한, 서냉 섹션(104), 급냉 섹션(105), 최종 냉각 섹션(106) 등에 사용될 수 있는 냉각물질은 질소, 액체 질소 및 수소가 함유된 질소 등 어떠한 물질을 이용하는 경우라도 적용이 가능하며, 또는 이들이 1종 이상 혼합된 냉각 방식을 사용할 수 있다.
이하, 본 발명을 하기 실시예를 통해 보다 상세히 설명한다.
(실시예 1)
두께 1.0mm, 인장 강도 590MPa급 TRIP(1.5% Si, 1.6% Mn, 0.08% C, 0.02% Sb 등을 주요 합금원소로 포함) 미소둔 냉연 강판(Full Hard Steel Sheet: F/H)을 사용하여 도1의 섹션을 포함하는 소둔 장치에서 열처리를 실시하였다. 그리고 일부 시편은 합금화 용융아연도금 처리를 통해 합금화 용융아연도금강판(Galvannealed Steel Sheet)을 제조하였다.
이 때, 소둔 조건은 수소, 질소 및 로점(Dewpoint)의 분위기 가스를 변화시켰으며, 열처리 사이클은 도2와 같은 예열-가열-소킹-서냉-급냉-최종 냉각 사이클 (이하, A 사이클)을 원칙으로 하였으나, 발명예 5에 대해서는 도3과 같은 예열-가열-소킹-서냉-급냉-오버 에이징-재가열-최종 냉각 사이클 (이하, B 사이클)의 조건으로 실시하였다.
소둔을 마친 시편의 일부는 내픽업성(Anti-pickup)을 평가하였고, 나머지에 대해서는 합금화 용융아연도금을 실시하여 소둔조건별로 도금성(Wettability)과 합금화성(Alloying reactivity)을 평가하였으며, 그 결과를 하기 표 1 및 도 4에 나타내었다.

단, 본 실시예에서 도금품질(도금성, 합금화성 및 내픽업성)을 평가한 방법 및 기준은 다음과 같다.
*도금성(Wettability): 용융도금 물질이 소재 강판에 잘 코팅되는 성질로써, 본 실시예에서는 육안으로 도금강판의 외관을 관찰하였으며 평가기준은 다음과 같다.
1등급(Grade 1): 미도금(Bare spot) 전혀 없음, 자동차 외판용 수준
2등급(Grade 2): 미도금 극 미세 관찰, 자동차 내판용 수준
3등급(Grade 3): 미도금 약간 관찰, 자동차 외 일반용 수준
4등급(Grade 4): 미도금 다소 많이 관찰, 제품 불가 수준
5등급(Grade 5): 미도금 다량 관찰, 제품 불가 수준
**합금화성(Alloying reactivity): 용융아연도금강판을 급속 재가열 시키면 모재의 Fe가 아연도금층으로 확산되어 Fe-Zn 합금도금층이 균일하게 형성되는 정도로써, 육안으로 도금강판의 외관을 관찰하였으며 평가기준은 다음과 같다.
1등급(Grade 1): 합금층 표면이 아주 균일, 자동차 외판용 수준
2등급(Grade 2): 합금층 표면이 균일, 자동차 내판용 수준
3등급(Grade 3): 합금층 표면이 비교적 균일, 자동차 외 일반용 수준
4등급(Grade 4): 합금층 표면이 비교적 불균일, 제품 불가 수준
5등급(Grade 5): 합금층 표면이 불균일, 제품 불가 수준
***내픽업성(Anti-pickup): 소둔산화물이 소둔 장치의 허쓰롤(Hearth Roll) 표면에 픽업되지 않도록 하는 특성으로써, 소둔 장치에서 강판을 고온으로 열처리하는 과정에서 강성분 원소인 Si, Mn, Al 등이 강판의 표면으로 확산해서 형성된 소둔산화물이 허쓰롤 표면에 픽업되면 강판에 덴트(Dent) 결함을 유발하게 된다. 따라서 내픽업성은 강판 표면에 확산해서 형성된 소둔산화물의 피복율(Covering percentage)이 적을수록 우수하다. 소둔산화물의 피복율은 소둔처리를 마친 시료의 표면을 편광주사 전자현미경(Field Emission-SEM)을 이용하여 30,000배로 촬영한 후, 입자분석기(Image Analyzer)를 사용하여 피복율로 나타내었다. 또한 분광 광전 스펙트로미터(Glow Discharge Spectrometer: GDS)를 사용하여 소둔산화물 피막의 두께도 참고적으로 측정하여 본 평가에 참조하였으며, 그 평가기준은 다음과 같다.
1등급(Grade 1): 소둔산화물 피복율 5%이하
2등급(Grade 2): 소둔산화물 피복율 20%이하
3등급(Grade 3): 소둔산화물 피복율 35%이하
4등급(Grade 4): 소둔산화물 피복율 45%이하
5등급(Grade 5): 소둔산화물 피복율 45%이상
상기 표 1에서 알 수 있듯이, 본 발명의 조건에 따른 발명예 1 내지 7은 모두 도금품질이 1~3 등급을 기록하여 제품으로 사용이 충분한 품질을 나타내었다. 이러한 결과는 도 7의 (a) 및 (b)에도 나타나 있다. 특히 발명예 1과 같이 수소가 전혀 함유되지 않은 상태에서 가장 우수한 도금 품질을 나타내었다.
또한, 수소는 함유되지 않을수록 유리하나 3vol% 수준까지는 존재해도 제품 생산은 가능한 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 가스 분위기가 만족된다면, 열처리 사이클을 도 3의 사이클 형태로 변화하여 실험한 경우(발명예 5)나, 로점을 -10℃ 및 -50℃로 다양하게 변화시켜 실험한 경우(발명예 6 및 7)에도 우수한 도금 품질이 나타나, 다른 외부 요인에 의하더라도 가스 분위기를 제어하여 좋은 효과를 얻을 수 있다는 사실을 알 수 있었다.
반면, 비교예 1~8은 도금성, 합금화성 및 내픽업성 가운데 한가지 이상의 품질 특성에서 4등급 또는 5등급의 좋지 않은 도금 품질을 나타냈다. 특히, 수소 농도가 20vol% 이상으로 대폭 높은 경우에서는 수소 농도가 증가할수록 도금성이 3등급 수준까지 다소 우수하게 나타났으나, 합금화성과 내픽업성이 대폭 저하되어 뚜렷한 품질 향상 효과를 기대할 수 없었다.
(실시예 2)
두께 1.0mm인 TRIP(1.5%Si, 1.6% Mn, 0.08% C, 0.02% Sb 등을 주요 합금 원소로 포함) 미소둔 냉연강판 F/H(Full Hard)재를 도 2의 열처리 사이클로 소둔 처리하였다. 특히 본 실시예에서는 도 1에 나타난 6개의 소둔로 섹션 중 임의의 섹션을 선택해 당해 섹션에만 질소 100vol% 및 로점 -30℃인 비환원성 분위기 가스를 충진시키고 열처리를 실시하였다. 그리고 열처리된 강판에 합금화 용융아연도금을 실시하여 도금성(Wettability), 합금화성(Alloying reactivity) 및 내픽업성(Anti-pickup)을 평가하였고, 그 결과를 하기 표 2의 발명예 8~12로 나타냈다.
또한, 소재와 도금 조건에 따라 본 발명의 방법을 적용할 수 있는지 여부를 알아보기 위하여, 도 1의 소둔로 섹션에 질소 100vol% 및 로점 -30℃인 비환원성 분위기 가스를 충진시킨 상태에서 소재 강종, 소재 종류 및 도금욕 종류를 변화시키면서 열처리를 실시한 후, 합금화 용융아연도금을 실시하여 도금성(Wettability), 합금화성(Alloying reactivity) 및 내픽업성(Anti-pickup)을 평가하였다. 그리고 그 결과를 하기 표 2의 발명예 13~21로 나타내었다.
그리고 비교예 9~15는 동일한 도 1 형태의 소둔 장치 섹션 전체에 5vol%의 수소를 포함하는 분위기로 충진하고 소둔 및 도금을 실시하여 제조한 것으로 각각의 결과를 하기 표 2 에 나타내었다.

** 소재 종류는 미소둔 냉연 강판(Full Hard Steel Sheets: F/H), 냉연 강판(Cold Rolled Steel Sheet: CR) 및 열연 강판(Hot Rolled Steel Sheet: HR)을 의미함.
*** 도금욕 종류는 GI(Zn-0.2%Al), GL(Zn-55%Al), AL(Al-5%Si) 및 MG(Zn-3%Mg-2%Al)에 대하여 각각 소둔 및 도금을 실시한 것을 의미한다.
**** 본 실시예에서 도금 품질을 평가하는 방법 및 기준은 상기 실시예 1과 동일하다.
표 2에 나타난 결과를 분석해보면, 각 섹션 중 최소 1곳 이상의 섹션에서 상기 본 발명의 비환원성 분위기를 적용하여 열처리를 실시한 발명예 8~12는 도금성, 합금화성 및 내픽업성이 각각 1~3등급으로 우수하게 나타났다.
그리고 비환원성 분위기를 적용한 섹션이 많은 발명예 8이 상대적으로 적은 발명예 12에 비해 도금 품질은 우수하게 나타났으며, 냉각 처리 섹션에 적용한 경우보다 가열 처리 섹션을 수행하는 101~104의 섹션 가운데 1곳 이상을 선정해서 적용한 경우가 미세하지만 더 우수한 도금 품질을 나타냈다.
또한, 소재의 종류를 기존의 F/H에서 냉연 강판(CR)과 열연 강판(HR)으로 변화시키면 도금 품질이 더 향상되었으나(발명예 13 및 14), 종래의 환원성 분위기에서는 도금 품질 가운에 한가지 이상의 품질특성에서 4등급 이상의 저하된 도금 품질을 나타냈다(비교예 9 및 10).
강종의 종류를 TWIP, DP 및 DQ로 변화시킨 경우라도 본 발명에 의한 단계를 거치면 도금품질이 각각 3등급 이내로 우수하게 나타난 반면(발명예 15~17), 종래의 환원성 분위기에서는 도금 품질 가운에 한가지 이상의 품질 특성에서 본 발명의 품질 특성보다 상대적으로 열화된 도금품질을 나타냈다(비교예 11~12).
그리고 TRIP강 소재를 사용하여 GI재를 제조한 경우도 본 발명은 도금 품질이 모두 1등급으로 우수하게 나타났으나(발명예 18), 종래의 환원성 분위기에서는 도금 품질 가운에 도금성이 5등급으로 본 발명보다 크게 열화되었다(비교예 13). DQ강 소재를 사용하여 도금욕을 GL, AL 및 MG로 변화시킨 경우(발명예 19~21 및 비교예 14~16)에도, 본 발명에 의하면 도금 품질이 각각 1~3등급으로 우수한 반면, 종래의 환원성 분위기에서는 도금 품질 중 한가지 이상의 품질 특성에서 본 발명의 품질 특성보다 상대적으로 낮은 도금 품질을 나타냈다.

Claims (17)

1 이상의 섹션을 포함하는 강판의 소둔장치에 있어서,
상기 1 이상의 섹션에 비환원성 분위기 또는 약환원성 분위기의 가스가 충진된 강판의 소둔장치.
제1항에 있어서, 상기 강판은 Si, Mn, Al 및 B 중 1종 이상을 포함하는 강판의 소둔장치.
제1항에 있어서, 상기 강판은 열연강판, 미소둔 냉연강판 및 냉연강판 중 하나인 강판의 소둔장치.
제1항에 있어서, 상기 가스는 3vol% 이하의 수소(H2) 및 97vol% 이상의 질소(N2)를 포함하는 강판의 소둔장치.
제1항에 있어서, 상기 소둔장치는 예열 섹션, 가열 섹션, 소킹 섹션, 서냉 섹션, 급냉 섹션 및 최종 냉각 섹션 중 1종 또는 2종 이상을 포함하는 강판의 소둔장치.
제1항에 있어서, 상기 소둔 장치는 오버 에이징 섹션(Over Aging Section), 재가열 섹션(Re-Heating Section) 중 1 이상을 추가적으로 포함하는 강판의 소둔 장치.
제5항에 있어서, 상기 예열 섹션 또는 가열 섹션은 유도 가열로, 적외선 가열로, 복사관 가열로, 초음파 가열로 또는 이들이 혼합된 장치인 강판의 소둔장치.
제6항에 있어서, 상기 재가열 섹션은 유도 가열로, 적외선 가열로, 복사관 가열로, 초음파 가열로 또는 이들이 혼합된 장치인 강판의 소둔장치.
제1항 내지 제8항 중 어느 한 항의 강판의 소둔장치를 포함한 도금강판의 제조장치.
강판을 소둔 장치에서 소둔 처리하여 도금 강판으로 제조하는 일련의 단계를 포함하는 도금 강판의 제조방법에 있어서,
상기 소둔 장치는 1 이상의 섹션을 포함하며,
상기 소둔 처리는 상기 소둔 장치에 포함된 비환원성 분위기 또는 약환원성 분위기의 가스를 포함하는 1 이상의 섹션에서 이루어지는 도금강판의 제조방법.
제10항에 있어서, 상기 소둔처리는 예열 단계, 가열 단계, 소킹 단계, 서냉 단계, 급냉 단계 및 최종 냉각 단계 중 1 또는 2 이상을 포함하는 일련의 단계인 도금강판의 제조방법.
제11항에 있어서, 상기 소둔처리는 오버 에이징 단계 및 재가열 단계 중 1 이상의 단계를 추가적으로 포함하는 도금강판의 제조방법.
제11항에 있어서, 상기 예열 단계 또는 상기 가열 단계는 유도 가열 방식, 적외선 가열 방식, 복사관 가열 방식, 초음파 가열 방식 또는 이들이 혼합 방식인 도금강판의 제조방법.
제12항에 있어서, 상기 재가열 단계는 유도 가열 방식, 적외선 가열 방식, 복사관 가열 방식, 초음파 가열 방식 또는 이들이 혼합 방식인 도금강판의 제조방법.
제11항에 있어서, 상기 서냉 단계, 상기 급냉 단계 및 상기 최종 냉각 단계 중 1 또는 2 이상의 냉각 단계는 질소, 액체 질소 및 수소가 함유된 질소 중 1종 이상을 이용한 냉각 방식인 도금강판의 제조방법.
제10항에 있어서, 상기 가스는 3vol% 이하의 수소(H2) 및 97vol% 이상의 질소(N2)를 포함하는 도금강판의 제조방법.
