Definitions
- the present invention relates to a gluing method and apparatus that eliminates a gluing defect in a gluing portion and enables stable gluing in a gluing process of a box making machine that molds a corrugated cardboard sheet manufactured by a corrugator.
- Corrugated cardboard sheets produced by the corrugator are printed, creased and grooved on the box making machine line, and then the seam provided on one side plate is glued and folded in the other side plate.
- a cylindrical body part is formed by being polymerized and bonded to each other, and a bottom part and a top part are formed by flaps connected to the upper and lower sides of each side plate.
- FIG. 5 is an overall configuration diagram showing a box making line of a cardboard box.
- the right side is the starting end of the box making line, and the cardboard sheet S is conveyed along the direction of arrow “a” to perform the box making process.
- a corrugator line which is a pre-process of the box making line, is used to manufacture front and back liners, and corrugated sheets S formed of corrugated cores interposed between them, and are stacked up and down on the paper feeding unit A.
- the corrugated cardboard sheet S is a corrugator line that has already been cut to set dimensions in the longitudinal direction and the width direction, and has been subjected to ruled line processing (ruled line b) in the longitudinal direction.
- the paper feed section A to form a corrugated fiberboard sheet group G 1 of the corrugated sheet S is stacked in alignment in the same direction up and down.
- Corrugated cardboard sheets S are fed from the sheet feeding unit A to the flexographic printing unit B one by one from the lower layer side.
- the flexographic printing section B a total of four colors (at least two colors) are printed on the corrugated cardboard sheet S one by one, and the printed corrugated cardboard sheet S is sent to the slotter / creaser section C.
- the slotter / creaser portion C a plurality of crease lines and grooving lines are formed in the width direction (four positions in FIG. 7), and the width direction crease lines c and grooves d are inserted, and a seam portion f is formed.
- the die cutting part D is used for manual hole drilling and other drilling processes.

- Glue gun 012 has a built-in solenoid valve, and is configured to discharge glue from the glue gun by energizing this solenoid valve.
- the glue hitting timing sensor 013 detects the passage of the corrugated cardboard sheet S.
- the timing of the glue gun 012 is adjusted in accordance with the timing when the corrugated cardboard sheet S passes the glue gun 012.
- the solenoid valve is activated, and a plurality of pastes g are applied from the nozzle to the joint portion f.
- Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 10-156974 discloses such a glue gun type gluing device.
- This gluing device makes it possible to directly detect the seam without causing a malfunction of the detection device that detects the sheet edge of the corrugated cardboard sheet, thereby easily changing the gluing setting accompanying the change of the cardboard sheet order. This is done in a short time so that the productivity of the box making machine can be improved.
- glue guns There are two types of glue guns: a contact type glue gun in which the nozzle contacts the joint portion during gluing, and a non-contact type glue gun in which the nozzle does not contact the joint portion.
- a contact type glue gun in which the nozzle contacts the joint portion during gluing
- a non-contact type glue gun in which the nozzle does not contact the joint portion.
- the contact type glue gun comes into contact with the joint portion of the corrugated cardboard sheet, resistance against conveyance of the corrugated cardboard sheet works. Therefore, if the resistance force acts strongly, the corrugated cardboard sheet may be inclined in some cases.
- an air cylinder that applies a load in the opposite direction to the weight of the gluing device is provided to offset the weight of the gluing device added to the cardboard sheet, and excessive contact pressure due to the weight of the glue gun during gluing Is not granted.
- the air cylinder has a built-in spring that applies an elastic force in a direction that speeds up the return of the glue gun against an impact when the joint portion contacts the glue gun.
- the elastic force of the spring applied to the glue gun differs depending on the paper type (material, flute shape, basis weight, paper thickness, etc.) of the corrugated cardboard sheet, so the contact pressure of the glue gun 12 depends on the paper type of the cardboard sheet. Change. Therefore, there is a possibility that the amount of glue applied to the glued portion becomes unstable, or in some cases, an excessive contact pressure is applied to the joint portion and the corrugated cardboard sheet is inclined.
- the present invention has an excessively large joint portion at the time of gluing even if the paper type of the corrugated cardboard sheet changes due to order change in the gluing process of the box making machine line using the contact type glue gun.
- An object is to always enable stable gluing without applying contact pressure.
- the corrugated cardboard sheeting method of the present invention comprises: In the gluing method of the corrugated cardboard sheet in which the glue is applied to the gluing portion in the joint portion of the side end portion of the corrugated cardboard sheet running on the box making line using a contact type glue gun, Apply pressure in the direction to offset the self-weight of the glue gun loaded on the corrugated cardboard sheet by the first pressure device during gluing, Detecting the reaction force of the joint portion with a reaction force sensor provided on the corrugated sheet travel line upstream of the glue gun in the corrugated sheet travel direction; The second pressure device provided in the vicinity of the gluing position is glued with a glue gun while applying a pressure set according to the reaction force detection value to the joint portion of the corrugated cardboard sheet.
- the first pressurizing device applies a pressing force in a direction that cancels the weight of the glue gun.
- the contact pressure to the joint portion by the glue gun is minimized at the time of gluing.
- the reaction force sensor provided in the corrugated sheet travel line on the upstream side of the traveling direction of the glue gun is brought into contact with the corrugated sheet to detect the reaction force of the corrugated sheet, and from the detected reaction force value, Judge the paper type and paper thickness.
- a pressurizing force according to the paper type of the corrugated cardboard sheet is applied by a second pressurizing device provided near the gluing position according to the determination result.
- a reaction force sensor is provided downstream of the ruled line processing and grooving processing on the corrugated cardboard sheet, and the reaction force sensor detects the reaction force of the joint portion after the paper thickness is reduced. It is good to.
- the paper thickness of the glued part is increased by the joint allowance, so the slotting / grooving process of the slotter / creaser part in the box making process is performed simultaneously with the ruled line processing or grooving process.
- a process of reducing the thickness of the paper by compressing the side plate edge on the opposite side where the joint portion and the joint portion are glued is performed.
- a reaction force sensor is arranged downstream of the crease line processing and grooving processing, and the paper thickness of the joint portion at that position. Should be detected. Further, on the downstream side of the die-cut portion, the support of the corrugated cardboard sheet is not a support in the entire width direction but a two-point support, and thus there is a possibility that an accurate reaction force cannot be detected. Therefore, the reaction force sensor may be installed after ruled line processing or grooving processing and upstream of the die cut portion.
- the gluing device for corrugated cardboard sheets of the present invention for carrying out the method of the present invention comprises: In the corrugating device for corrugated cardboard sheet, which applies glue to the glued portion in the joint portion at the side edge of the corrugated cardboard sheet running on the box making line using a contact type glue gun, A first pressurizing device that applies pressure to the glue gun in a direction that cancels the weight of the glue gun; A reaction force sensor provided on a corrugated sheet traveling line upstream of the glue gun in the traveling direction of the corrugated cardboard and detecting a reaction force received from the corrugated sheet in contact with the corrugated sheet; A second pressurizing device that is disposed in the vicinity of the pasting position and applies a pressing force set according to the reaction force detection value at the time of pasting to the joint portion of the corrugated board sheet, The pressure is applied to the glued portion of the corrugated cardboard sheet by the second pressurizing device and glued with a glue gun.
- the first pressurizing device and the second pressurizing device may be constituted by air cylinders. Since the air cylinder can elastically receive the reaction force received from the joint portion due to the compressibility of air, it does not give a strong impact force to the joint portion. Therefore, there is no possibility of damaging the joint portion.
- a guide member that divides the traveling path is provided on one upstream side of the glue gun so that the traveling position of the corrugated cardboard sheet is tapered from the upper and lower sides toward the downstream side.
- the pressurizing terminal of the second pressurizing device may be connected, and the second pressurizing device may be configured to apply pressure to the joint portion of the corrugated cardboard sheet via the guide member.
- the pressurizing force of the second pressurizing device can be reliably applied to the joint portion, and the pressure force is applied to the joint portion via the guide member that tapers toward the downstream side in the running direction of the cardboard sheet. Therefore, the impact force applied to the joint portion can be reduced, and the joint portion is not damaged.
- the glue is applied to the glued portion in the joint portion of the side edge of the corrugated cardboard sheet traveling on the box making line using a contact type glue gun.
- a reaction force sensor provided in a corrugated sheet travel line upstream of the glue gun in the direction of travel of the corrugated cardboard sheet, applying pressure in a direction that cancels the weight of the glue gun loaded on the corrugated cardboard sheet by the first pressurizing device during gluing

- FIG. 2 is a side view of the same. 1 and 2
- a fixed platen 11 is erected so as to face the running line PL of the cardboard sheet S.
- a glue gun 12 is disposed vertically upward at a position where the joint portion f of the cardboard sheet S travels in front of the fixed platen 11.
- the glue g is supplied to the glue gun 12, and the nozzle 13 comes into contact with the glued portion of the joint portion f of the corrugated cardboard sheet S running on the cardboard sheet running line PL from a plurality of nozzles 13 provided at the tip of the glue gun 12. Then, the glue g is applied.
- the first air cylinder 15 is fixed to the fixed platen 11 via the bracket 16 in the vertical direction.
- the moving member 18 and the moving plate 19 integrated with the moving member 18 are attached to the fixed platen 11 so as to be movable in the vertical direction.
- the piston rod 17 of the first air cylinder 15 is attached to the moving member 18 and the moving plate 19.
- the glue gun 12 is fixed to a moving plate 19 that extends to the moving member 18. Therefore, the glue gun 12 can move in the vertical direction together with the moving member 18 and the moving plate 19.
- the second air cylinder 21 is attached to the stationary platen 11 via the bracket 22 in the vertical direction on the upstream side of the glue gun 12 in the direction of travel of the cardboard sheet.
- the piston rod 23 of the second air cylinder 21 is attached to an upper guide member 24 a integrated with the moving plate 19.
- the guide member 24 includes an upper guide member 24a and a lower guide member 24b, and the upper and lower guide members 24a and 24b are disposed so as to sandwich the corrugated cardboard travel line PL from above and below.
- the upper and lower guide members 24a and 24b are arranged at a position where the seam portion f of the corrugated cardboard sheet S passes through, and the distance between the upper and lower guide members 24a and 24b becomes narrower toward the downstream side and slightly narrower than the paper thickness of the corrugated cardboard sheet S at the most downstream end. Is arranged. For example, when the paper thickness of the cardboard sheet S is 5.0 mm, the narrowest part between the upper and lower guide members 24a and 24b is set to 4.8 mm.
- the upper guide member 24a can move in the vertical direction integrally with the moving plate 19, and is fixed to the lower guide member 24b fixed platen 11. Accordingly, when the joint portion f of the cardboard sheet S passes between the upper and lower guide members 24a and 24b, the upper guide member 24a receives a reaction force from the cardboard sheet S.

- the corrugated cardboard sheet S that has entered the slotter / creaser portion C from the direction of arrow a is first subjected to ruled line processing by passing between the upper and lower ruled line rolls 31a and 31b. Next, it passes between the upper and lower feed rolls 32a and 32b, reaches the upper and lower slotters 33a and 33b, and passes through between the upper and lower slotters, thereby grooving. Next, a punching process such as hand drilling is performed by entering the die cut portion D and passing between the upper and lower feed rolls 34a and 34b and passing through the upper and lower die cut rolls 35a and 35b.
- a reaction force sensor 36 is provided between the upper and lower feed rolls 34a and 34b and the upper and lower die cut rolls 35a and 35b.
- a load cell or the like is used as the reaction force sensor 36, and a guide rail 37 is connected to the reaction force sensor 36.
- the guide rail 37 is in contact with the cardboard sheet S, transmits the reaction force of the cardboard sheet S to the reaction force sensor 36, and the reaction force sensor 36 detects the reaction force.
- the cardboard sheet S varies in hardness and hardness depending on the material, and the paper thickness varies depending on the type. In the present embodiment, these differences are determined from the reaction force detection value of the reaction force sensor 36, and the stroke of the piston rod 23 of the second air cylinder 21 is adjusted based on the determination result with respect to the cardboard sheet S. It is designed to give the optimum pressure for gluing.
- the corrugated board sheet S is conveyed to the slotter / creaser section C to perform ruled line processing or grooving, and the paper thickness of the glued portion of the manufactured cardboard box is not increased.
- the joint portion f and the end edge portion of the side plate on the opposite side are compressed.
- drilling is performed at the die cut portion D, and the reaction force of the corrugated cardboard sheet S is detected by the reaction force sensor 36 disposed between the slotter / creaser portion C and the die cut portion D.
- the paper type of the corrugated cardboard sheet S is known in advance, but the paper thickness of the corrugated cardboard sheet S is slightly different depending on the storage period after manufacturing the corrugated cardboard sheet, the weather, humidity, temperature, etc. during the box making process. Therefore, the reaction force sensor 36 detects the reaction force of the cardboard sheet S, and detects the paper type of the cardboard sheet S and the paper thickness at the time of box making.
- the detected value is input to the control device 26, and the control device 26 controls the stroke of the second air cylinder 21 based on the detected value to adjust the interval between the upper and lower guide members 24a and 24b.
- the pressurizing force of the second air cylinder 21 may be set in advance based on the reaction force detection value of the cardboard sheet S carried in initially, for example, 1 to 10 cardboard sheets S. In this way, the initial setting of the pressurizing force of the second air cylinder 21 can be facilitated, and the optimum pressurizing force can be quickly brought close to.
- the corrugated cardboard sheet S exiting the die cut part D travels on the travel line PL from the direction of arrow a and reaches the gluing device 10.
- the first air cylinder 15 applies pressure to the glue gun 12 in a direction that cancels the weight of the glue gun 12 so that the weight of the glue gun 12 is not applied to the joint portion f of the corrugated cardboard sheet S when gluing.
- the contact pressure should be close to the weightless state.
- the first air cylinder 15 corresponds to the pressure P 1 applied to the glue gun 12 in order to cancel the weight of the glue gun 12 and the detected reaction force detected by the reaction force sensor 36.
- the applied pressure P 2 applied to the joint part f by the second air cylinder 21 is larger than the applied pressure P 1. Therefore, the applied pressures P 1 and P 2 are applied to the first air cylinder 15 and the second air cylinder 21. Therefore, the optimum pressure can be applied to the joint portion f at the time of gluing.
- the first air cylinder 15 responds to the paper type of the corrugated cardboard sheet S by the second air cylinder 21 while minimizing the contact pressure with respect to the joint portion f of the glue gun 12 at the time of gluing. Since the optimum pressing force is applied, it is possible to perform stable gluing that can apply the optimum gluing amount to the gluing portion of the joint portion f without causing the inclination of the corrugated cardboard sheet S during gluing. .
- the present invention in the corrugated cardboard box-making process, even if the paper type of the corrugated cardboard sheet is different, stable gluing can be performed without applying excessive contact pressure to the corrugated cardboard sheet.
