次に、スクリーンセーバ処理部のタイマ動作を最初に中断(非起動を含む)しておくことを前提にして、映像表示装置2がサーバ1からスクリーンセーバ制御のスクリプトを取得して、このスクリプトに基づいて、映像表示装置2においてスクリーンセーバ制御を行うシステムの構成の一例を図5に示す。実施の形態1、実施の形態2と異なる部分を中心に説明する。
次に、映像表示装置2が内部にコンテンツ情報を記憶しており、その一部分の処理をサーバ1において行うようにしたスクリーンセーバ制御システムの構成の一例を図7に示す。以下、上記各実施の形態と異なる部分を中心に説明する。
上記実施の形態3では、映像表示装置2が備えているスクリーンセーバ処理部20の描画部23がスクリーンセーバ画面の生成を行うようにしたが、本実施の形態5のように、スクリプト処理部32が、スクリーンセーバ処理部20によらずに、直接描画処理を行わせるようにしてもよい。
上記実施の形態4では、映像表示装置2が備えているスクリーンセーバ処理部20の描画部23がスクリーンセーバ画面の生成を行うようにしたが、スクリプト処理部32が、スクリーンセーバ処理部20によらずに、直接描画処理を行わせるようにしてもよい。

- 符号化されたビデオストリーム情報を蓄積し、送信するサーバと、前記サーバから前記ビデオストリーム情報を得て復号し、映像を出力する映像表示装置とを備えた映像表示システムにおいて、
前記映像表示装置は、
スクリーンセーバタイマを有し、それを利用して、スクリーンセーバ映像を生成するスクリーンセーバ処理部と、
前記スクリーンセーバ処理部のスクリーンセーバ映像の生成を制御する映像制御部及び前記ビデオストリーム情報を処理するストリーム処理部を有する映像制御処理部と、
前記ビデオストリーム情報の映像及び前記スクリーンセーバ映像を出力する映像出力部とを備え、
前記映像制御処理部は、自ら生成した又は前記サーバから得た、前記スクリーンセーバ処理部のスクリーンセーバ映像の生成を制御するスクリーンセーバ制御情報を利用して、前記スクリーンセーバ処理部を制御し、
前記スクリーンセーバ処理部のスクリーンセーバタイマの動作は、前記スクリーンセーバ制御情報を介して、前記ストリーム処理部の処理の状態に関連づけられているとともに、その他の所定のイベントにも関連づけられている、映像システム。 - 符号化されたビデオストリーム情報を蓄積し、送信するサーバから前記ビデオストリーム情報を得て復号し、映像を出力する映像表示装置において、
スクリーンセーバタイマを有し、それを利用して、スクリーンセーバ映像を生成するスクリーンセーバ処理部と、
前記スクリーンセーバ処理部のスクリーンセーバ映像の生成を制御する映像制御部及び前記ビデオストリーム情報を処理するストリーム処理部を有する映像制御処理部と、
前記ビデオストリーム情報の映像及び前記スクリーンセーバ映像を出力する映像出力部とを備え、
前記映像制御処理部は、自ら生成した又は前記サーバから得た、前記スクリーンセーバ処理部のスクリーンセーバ映像の生成を制御するスクリーンセーバ制御情報を利用して、前記スクリーンセーバ処理部を制御し、
前記スクリーンセーバ処理部のスクリーンセーバタイマの動作は、前記スクリーンセーバ制御情報を介して、前記ストリーム処理部の処理の状態に関連づけられているとともに、その他の所定のイベントにも関連づけられている、映像表示装置。 - 前記スクリーンセーバ処理部において、スクリーンセーバを起動するまでの時間をカウントするスクリーンセーバタイマのカウント動作へのリセットは、前記ストリーム処理部の再生処理の終了に応じて、停止する、請求項2記載の映像表示装置。
- 前記映像制御部は、前記サーバから、周期Trでリセットを行うプログラムを受け取り解釈し、それに基づいて、自ら有するタイマを利用して、前記スクリーンセーバタイマへのリセット指示を前記スクリーンセーバ情報として、前記スクリーンセーバ処理部へ送信し、
前記映像制御部は、前記ストリーム処理部における再生処理の終了に応じて、前記スクリーンセーバタイマへのリセット指示を前記スクリーンセーバ情報として前記スクリーンセーバ処理部へ送信することを、停止する、請求項3記載の映像表示装置。 - 前記サーバは、自ら有するタイマを利用して、所定の周期Tr毎に、タイマーリセットメッセージを前記映像制御部へ送信し、
前記映像制御部は前記タイマーリセットメッセージを受け取り、それに基づいて、前記スクリーンセーバタイマへのリセット指示を前記スクリーンセーバ情報として、前記スクリーンセーバ処理部へ送信し、
前記映像制御部は、前記ストリーム処理部における再生処理の終了に応じて、前記サーバへスクリーンセーバ制御終了メッセージを送り、
前記サーバは前記スクリーンセーバ制御終了メッセージを受け取ると、前記自ら有するタイマのカウントを停止し、前記タイマーリセットメッセージの送信を停止し、
前記映像制御部は、前記タイマーリセットメッセージの送信停止に応じて、前記スクリーンセーバタイマへのリセット指示を前記スクリーンセーバ情報として前記スクリーンセーバ処理部へ送信することを、停止する、請求項3記載の映像表示装置。 - 前記その他の所定のイベントとは、前記ビデオストリーム情報の映像再生処理以外の所定のアプリケーション処理を実行するイベントである、請求項2~5のいずれかに記載の映像表示装置。
- 請求項2記載の映像表示装置の、前記スクリーンセーバタイマを有し、それを利用して、スクリーンセーバ映像を生成するスクリーンセーバ処理部と、前記スクリーンセーバ処理部のスクリーンセーバ映像の生成を制御する映像制御部及び前記ビデオストリーム情報を処理するストリーム処理部を有する映像制御処理部として、コンピュータを機能させるプログラム。
- 符号化されたビデオストリーム情報を蓄積し、送信するサーバと、前記サーバから前記ビデオストリーム情報を得て復号し、映像を出力する映像表示装置とを備えた映像システムにおいて、
前記映像表示装置は、
第1のスクリーンセーバタイマを有し、それを利用して、スクリーンセーバ映像を生成するスクリーンセーバ処理部と、
第2のスクリーンセーバタイマを有し、前記スクリーンセーバ処理部のスクリーンセーバ映像の生成を制御する映像制御部及び、前記ビデオストリーム情報を処理するストリーム処理部を有する映像制御処理部と、を備え、
前記映像制御処理部は、自ら生成した又は前記サーバから得た、前記第2のスクリーンセーバタイマ及び前記スクリーンセーバ処理部を制御するスクリーンセーバ制御情報を利用して、前記第2のスクリーンセーバタイマ及び前記スクリーンセーバ処理部を制御し、
前記スクリーンセーバ処理部の第1のスクリーンセーバタイマの動作は、前記スクリーンセーバ制御情報を介して、前記ストリーム処理部の処理の状態に関連づけられているとともに、その他の所定のイベントにも関連づけられており、
前記第2のスクリーンセーバタイマの動作は、前記ストリーム処理部の処理の状態に関連づけられている、映像システム。 - 符号化されたビデオストリーム情報を蓄積し、送信するサーバから前記ビデオストリーム情報を得て復号し、映像を出力する映像表示装置において、
第1のスクリーンセーバタイマを有し、それを利用して、スクリーンセーバ映像を生成するスクリーンセーバ処理部と、

前記映像制御処理部は、自ら生成した又は前記サーバから得た、前記第2のスクリーンセーバタイマ及び前記スクリーンセーバ処理部を制御するスクリーンセーバ制御情報を利用して、前記第2のスクリーンセーバタイマ及び前記スクリーンセーバ処理部を制御し、
前記スクリーンセーバ処理部の第1のスクリーンセーバタイマの動作は、前記スクリーンセーバ制御情報を介して、前記ストリーム処理部の処理の状態に関連づけられているとともに、その他の所定のイベントにも関連づけられており、
前記第2のスクリーンセーバタイマの動作は、前記ストリーム処理部の処理の状態に関連づけられている、映像表示装置。 - 前記第1のスクリーンセーバタイマは、少なくともストリーム処理部の映像再生中は動作を中断しており、前記スクリーンセーバ制御情報である映像再生終了通知により、その動作を再開する、請求項9記載の映像表示装置。
- 前記映像制御部は、前記サーバから、周期Trでリセットを行うプログラムを受け取り解釈し、それに基づいて、自ら有する前記第2のスクリーンセーバタイマに対して、前記スクリーンセーバ情報としてのリセット指示を出してリセットを行い、
前記映像制御部は、前記ストリーム処理部34からの前記映像再生終了通知に応じて、前記第2のスクリーンセーバタイマへのリセット指示を停止し、さらに、前記第1のスクリーンセーバタイマの動作を再開させる、請求項10記載の映像表示装置。 - 前記映像制御部は、前記第2のスクリーンセーバタイマを自ら有する構成に代えて、前記サーバから前記第2のスクリーンセーバタイマのプログラムを得て解釈して生成する、請求項11記載の映像表示装置。
- 前記サーバは、自ら有するタイマを利用して、所定の周期Tr毎に、タイマーリセットメッセージを前記映像制御部へ送信し、
前記映像制御部は前記タイマーリセットメッセージを受け取り、それに基づいて、前記第2のスクリーンセーバタイマに対して、前記スクリーンセーバ情報としてのリセット指示を出してリセットを行い、
前記映像制御部は、前記ストリーム処理部からの前記映像再生終了通知に応じて、前記第2のスクリーンセーバタイマへのリセット指示を停止し、さらに、前記第1のスクリーンセーバタイマの動作を再開させ、
前記映像制御部は、前記ストリーム処理部からの前記映像再生終了通知に応じて、前記サーバへスクリーンセーバ制御終了メッセージを送り、
前記サーバは前記スクリーンセーバ制御終了メッセージを受け取ると、前記自ら有するタイマのカウントを停止し、前記タイマーリセットメッセージの送信を停止する、請求項10記載の映像表示装置。 - 前記その他の所定のイベントとは、前記ビデオストリーム情報の映像再生処理以外の所定のアプリケーション処理を実行するイベントである、請求項9~13のいずれかに記載の映像表示装置。
- 請求項9記載の映像表示装置の、前記第1のスクリーンセーバタイマを有し、それを利用して、スクリーンセーバ映像を生成するスクリーンセーバ処理部と、前記第2のスクリーンセーバタイマを有し、前記スクリーンセーバ処理部のスクリーンセーバ映像の生成を制御する映像制御部及び、前記ビデオストリーム情報を処理するストリーム処理部を有する映像制御処理部として、コンピュータを機能させるプログラム。
- 符号化されたビデオストリーム情報を蓄積し、送信するサーバと、前記サーバから前記ビデオストリーム情報を得て復号し、映像を出力する映像表示装置とを備えた映像システムにおいて、
前記映像表示装置は、

スクリーンセーバ映像を生成する描画部及び、第2のスクリーンセーバタイマを有して前記描画部を制御し、前記スクリーンセーバ処理部を制御する映像制御部及び、前記ビデオストリーム情報を処理するストリーム処理部を有する映像制御処理部と、を備え、
前記映像制御処理部は、自ら生成した又は前記サーバから得た、前記第2のスクリーンセーバタイマを制御するスクリーンセーバ制御情報を利用して、前記第2のスクリーンセーバタイマを制御し、
前記スクリーンセーバ処理部の第1のスクリーンセーバタイマの動作は、前記スクリーンセーバ制御情報を介して制御されているとともに、その他の所定のイベントにも関連づけられており、
前記第2のスクリーンセーバタイマは、前記スクリーンセーバ制御情報を介して、前記ストリーム処理部34の処理の状態に関連づけられている、映像システム。 - 符号化されたビデオストリーム情報を蓄積し、送信するサーバから前記ビデオストリーム情報を得て復号し、映像を出力する映像表示装置において、

スクリーンセーバ映像を生成する描画部及び、第2のスクリーンセーバタイマを有して前記描画部を制御し、前記スクリーンセーバ処理部を制御する映像制御部及び、前記ビデオストリーム情報を処理するストリーム処理部を有する映像制御処理部と、を備え、
前記映像制御処理部は、自ら生成した又は前記サーバから得た、前記第2のスクリーンセーバタイマを制御するスクリーンセーバ制御情報を利用して、前記第2のスクリーンセーバタイマを制御し、
前記スクリーンセーバ処理部の第1のスクリーンセーバタイマの動作は、前記スクリーンセーバ制御情報を介して制御されているとともに、その他の所定のイベントにも関連づけられており、
前記第2のスクリーンセーバタイマは、前記スクリーンセーバ制御情報を介して、前記ストリーム処理部の処理の状態に関連づけられている、映像表示装置。 - 前記描画部が前記映像制御部に設けられ利用される代わりに、前記スクリーンセーバ処理部に設けられた描画部が利用される、請求項17記載の映像表示装置。
- 前記第1のスクリーンセーバタイマは、少なくともストリーム処理部の映像再生中は動作を中断しており、前記第2のスクリーンセーバタイマは、映像再生終了後に動作を再開する、請求項17記載の映像表示装置。
- 前記映像制御部は、前記サーバから、周期Trでリセットを行うプログラムを受け取り解釈し、それに基づいて、自ら有する前記第2のスクリーンセーバタイマに対して、前記スクリーンセーバ情報としてのリセット指示を出してリセットを行い、
前記映像制御部は、前記ストリーム処理部からの前記映像再生終了通知に応じて、前記第2のスクリーンセーバタイマへのリセット指示を停止し、さらに、前記第2のスクリーンセーバタイマのカウントに基づいて、前記描画部を制御する、請求項19記載の映像表示装置。 - 前記映像制御部は、前記第2のスクリーンセーバタイマを自ら有する構成に代えて、前記サーバから前記第2のスクリーンセーバタイマのプログラムを得て解釈して生成する、請求項20記載の映像表示装置。
- 前記サーバは、自ら有するタイマを利用して、所定の周期Tr毎に、タイマーリセットメッセージを前記映像制御部へ送信し、
前記映像制御部は前記タイマーリセットメッセージを受け取り、それに基づいて、前記第2のスクリーンセーバタイマに対して、前記スクリーンセーバ情報としてのリセット指示を出してリセットを行い、
前記映像制御部は、前記ストリーム処理部からの前記映像再生終了通知に応じて、前記第2のスクリーンセーバタイマへのリセット指示を停止し、さらに、前記第2のスクリーンセーバタイマのカウントに基づいて、前記描画部を制御し、
前記映像制御部は、前記ストリーム処理部からの前記映像再生終了通知に応じて、前記サーバへスクリーンセーバ制御終了メッセージを送り、
前記サーバは前記スクリーンセーバ制御終了メッセージを受け取ると、前記自ら有するタイマのカウントを停止し、前記タイマーリセットメッセージの送信を停止する、請求項19記載の映像表示装置。 - 前記その他の所定のイベントとは、前記ビデオストリーム情報の映像再生処理以外の所定のアプリケーション処理を実行するイベントである、請求項17~22のいずれかに記載の映像表示装置。
- 請求項17記載の映像表示装置の、前記第1のスクリーンセーバタイマを有し、それを利用して、スクリーンセーバ映像を生成するスクリーンセーバ処理部と、前記スクリーンセーバ映像を生成する描画部及び、第2のスクリーンセーバタイマを有して前記描画部を制御し、前記スクリーンセーバ処理部を制御する映像制御部及び、前記ビデオストリーム情報を処理するストリーム処理部を有する映像制御処理部として、コンピュータを機能させるプログラム。
- 前記映像制御部は、スクリプト処理部を有し、
前記スクリプト処理部は、前記サーバからプログラム形式のコンテンツ情報を得て実行し、前記スクリーン制御情報を生成する、請求項4、11又は20記載の映像表示装置。 - 前記サーバは、スクリーンセーバ画面の生成開始時刻のタイミングを制御するスクリプト形式のプログラムを実行し、前記タイマーリセットメッセージを送信する、請求項5、13又は22記載の映像表示装置。
- 請求項7、15又は24記載のプログラムを記録した、コンピュータ読み取り可能な記録媒体。
