Abstract

폭이 일정한 금속판을 길이 방향으로 연속 굽힘 가공하기 위한 것으로서, 금속관의 연속 제조에 이용될 수 있으며, 특히 롤 수는 최소화 하고 성형력은 극대화 하도록 롤 배치가 최적화된 된 금속관 성형장치가 제안되어 있다. 제안된 금속관 성형장치는 금속판의 관 바깥쪽이 되는 면에 대해 배치된 보조 벤딩 롤(2)과 관 안쪽이 되는 면에 대해 배치된 주 벤딩 롤(3)을 포함한다. 주 벤딩 롤은 보조 벤딩 롤 보다 지름이 작고 금속판과의 큰 접촉각을 가짐으로써 큰 성형력을 발휘하며, 각 롤의 상대 위치에 따라 그 접촉각을 변화시켜 성형력을 조절할 수 있다. 주 벤딩 롤은 직경을 크게 해도 충분한 성형력을 발휘하게 설계하는 것이 가능하여 축처짐 문제를 간단히 해결할 수 있다. 또한 목표한 금속관의 소재 재질과 두께 및 제관지름에 대응하여 용이하게 설계할 수 있다. 제안된 장치의 보조 벤딩 롤과 주 벤딩 롤에 의해 길이방향으로 굽힘 가공된 금속판은 이후에 스퀴즈 롤에 압착되어 용이하게 관 모양으로 성형된다.
