Abstract
La présente invention concerne des fibres de verre présentant une constante diélectrique inférieure ou égale à 6 et une viscosité vitreuse de 1 000 poises à une température n’étant pas supérieure à 2 250 °F (1 232,2 °C). Les fibres de verre comprennent un pourcentage compris entre 45 % en poids et 65 % en poids de SiO2; entre 15 % en poids et 25 % en poids de B2O3 ; entre 8 % en poids et 16 % en poids d’Al2O3 ; inférieur ou égal à 10 % en poids de CaO; inférieur ou égal à 10 % en poids de MgO; inférieur ou égal à 3 % en poids de Na2O; inférieur ou égal à 2 % en poids de K2O; inférieur ou égal à 2 % en poids de Li2O; inférieur ou égal à 5 % en poids de TiO2 ; inférieur ou égal à 2 % en poids de F2 ; et inférieur ou égal à 1 % en poids de Fe2O3. Les fibres de verre peuvent présenter un nombre inférieur ou égal à cinq fibres de verre creuses par centimètre cube de verre et sont prévues pour être utilisées dans une carte de circuits imprimés.
