Abstract

Un dispositif de protection contre les courants de défaut doit avoir la capacité d’exécuter un test automatique. Le test automatique doit être exécuté uniquement dans des cas exceptionnels lorsqu'un fort courant circule dans le dispositif de protection contre les courants de défaut parce que le test automatique entraîne l’ouverture de contacts (20, 20') sur lesquels peut apparaître une usure. Des moyens (40) pour mesurer l’intensité du courant dans des lignes électriques (18, 44; 18', 44') permettent de mesurer l’intensité du courant et communiquent le résultat à une unité de commande (36) qui comporte une unité (48) dans laquelle il est décidé si un test automatique sera exécuté afin qu’une unité de test automatique (34) puisse provoquer l’exécution du test automatique. La décision tient compte du temps écoulé depuis le dernier test automatique ou de l’heure du jour.
