La présente invention concerne une chenille (20) supportée au niveau de son extrémité de racine par une partie de fixation (30) côté corps et au niveau de son extrémité d’embout par un élément tournant (33), qui est fixé de façon tournante sur une partie de fixation (50) côté porte. Cette partie de fixation (50) côté porte est équipée de moyens de polarisation (65) pour appliquer une force de rotation permettant de tirer l’extrémité d’embout de la chenille (20) dans la direction d’extension. Lorsqu’une porte coulissante (15) est dans une position entièrement fermée (A), l’élément tournant (33) est tourné contre la force de polarisation de sorte que la chenille (20) prend une position dans laquelle la chenille (20) s’étend sensiblement tout droit depuis l’extrémité de racine. Au début de l’ouverture de la porte coulissante (15), l’élément tournant (33) est amené, lorsque la chenille (20) se desserre légèrement, à tourner dans la direction pour tirer l’extrémité d’embout de la chenille (20) au moyen de la force de polarisation, de sorte que la position intermédiaire de la chenille (20) prend une forme saillant dans une direction prédéterminée de façon à entamer la déformation incurvée normale.
