Abstract

Le décanteur (1) d'huile pour moteur à combustion interne, prévu pour séparer au moins partiellement l'huile des gaz sortant d'un carter de vilebrequin d'un moteur à combustion interne, comprend un carter (10) renfermant intérieurement : une chambre d'admission (2) des gaz chargés d'huile, une chambre de sortie (3) des gaz décantés, au moins une chambre d'aspiration intermédiaire (41, 42, 43), et une chambre de récupération d'huile (5) dans laquelle est prévu un orifice (50) de retour d'huile de décantation vers le moteur. L'interface de communication (53) entre la chambre de récupération d'huile (5) et la chambre de sortie (3) des gaz est dimensionnée (L1) pour que les pressions dans chacune de ces chambres (3; 5) soient sensiblement égales pendant l'utilisation du décanteur indépendamment du débit de circulation des gaz à l'intérieur dudit décanteur (1). L'invention trouve une application dans le domaine des véhicules automobiles.
