- 複数の発光ダイオードを備えた1以上の細長状のLEDユニットと、
このLEDユニットの長手方向の両端部に取り付け可能とされており、外部から電源の供給を受けるための第1および第2の口金と、を備え、
上記LEDユニットは、複数個を直列に連結するための連結部を備える、LEDランプ。 - 上記LEDユニットは、上記複数の発光ダイオードを直列につなぐための第1の配線と、長手方向に延びる第2および第3の配線とを有しており、
上記第1および第2の口金は、それぞれ、交流電源に接続される外部接続端子と、上記第1ないし第3の配線にそれぞれ導通接続可能な第1ないし第3の電極と、これらの電極および上記外部接続端子の間に設けられ、交流を直流に変換する交流直流変換手段と、を備え、
上記第1の口金において、上記第1および第2の電極は正極である一方、上記第3の電極は負極であり、
上記第2の口金において、上記第1および第2の電極は負極である一方、上記第3の電極は正極であり、
上記第1の配線の両端部は、上記第1の口金の第1の電極および上記第2の口金の第1の電極に導通接続され、
上記第2の配線の両端部は、上記第1の口金の第2の電極および上記第2の口金の第3の電極に導通接続されるとともに、
上記第3の配線の両端部は、上記第1の口金の第3の電極および上記第2の口金の第2の電極に導通接続される、請求項1に記載のLEDランプ。 - 上記各LEDユニットは、上記複数の発光ダイオードを囲む円筒形のカバーを有し、全体として直管状とされている、請求項1に記載のLEDランプ。
