特に、図4及び図5を参照して、本発明の実施例1に係る電動歯ブラシ100の動作について説明する。
以上のように、本実施例に係る電動歯ブラシ100によれば、一端側に振動源10が設けられた振動体30は、振動体30の長手方向の中心よりも振動源10側に偏った位置で、その外周面が支持部材21によって支持されている。そのため、振動源10の振動によって、振動体30は支持部材21によって支持されている位置を支点として振動(本実施例においては、旋回)する。そして、上記の通り、L1>L2であることから、振動体30の他端は振動源10よりも大きく振動する。すなわち、振動源10による振動が増幅された状態で他端側に伝わる。このように、本実施例に係る振動体30によれば、その一端側に設けられた振動源10の振動を、増幅させて他端(ブラシ42付近)に伝えることができる。従って、振動源10による小さな振動で、ブラシ42を大きく振動させることができる。
図6及び図7には、本発明の実施例2が示されている。上記実施例1では、錘がモータの一端側に設けられる場合を示したが、本実施例では錘がモータの他端側に設けられる場合について示す。その他の構成および作用については実施例1と同一なので、同一の構成部分については同一の符号を付して、その説明は省略する。
図8及び図9には、本発明の実施例3が示されている。本実施例においては、上記実施例1における構成において、振動体と環状部材(位置規制部としての役割を担う部材)との間に、振動体の振動がケースに伝わるのを抑制する振動減衰体を付加した構成を示す。その他の構成および作用については実施例1と同一なので、同一の構成部分については同一の符号を付して、その説明は省略する。
図10には、本発明の実施例4が示されている。上記実施例3では、環状部材と振動体との間に振動減衰体を設けることで振動減衰構造を構成する場合を示したが、本実施例では、環状部材が振動減衰機能を有することで振動減衰構造を構成する場合を示す。その他の構成および作用については実施例1及び実施例3と同一なので、同一の構成部分については同一の符号を付して、その説明は省略する。
図11~図13には、本発明の実施例5が示されている。本実施例においては、上記実施例1における構成において、振動体の他端部を直接的に振動させる偏心軸を付加した構成を示す。その他の構成および作用については実施例1と同一なので、同一の構成部分については同一の符号を付して、その説明は省略する。
図14には、本発明の実施例6が示されている。上記実施例5では、錘がモータの一端側に設けられる場合を示したが、本実施例では錘がモータの他端側に設けられる場合について示す。その他の構成および作用については実施例5と同一なので、同一の構成部分については同一の符号を付して、その説明は省略する。
図15及び図16には、本発明の実施例7が示されている。本実施例においては、上記実施例5における構成において、振動体と環状部材(位置規制部としての役割を担う部材)との間に、振動体の振動がケースに伝わるのを抑制する振動減衰体を付加した構成を示す。その他の構成および作用については実施例5と同一なので、同一の構成部分については同一の符号を付して、その説明は省略する。

Claims (7)
- 筒状のケースと、
一端がケースの内部に位置し、他端がケース先端の開口部からケース外部に突き出るように設けられ、該他端付近に位置するブラシを振動させる振動体と、
を備える電動歯ブラシであって、
前記振動体の前記一端側には振動源が設けられており、かつ該振動体は該振動体の長手方向の中心よりも振動源側に偏った位置で、その外周面が支持されていることを特徴とする電動歯ブラシ。 - 前記振動源は、前記振動体の前記一端側に固定されたモータと、該モータの回転軸に取り付けられ、該回転軸の回転中心からずれた位置に重心を有する錘とから構成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電動歯ブラシ。
- 前記錘は、前記モータの前記一端側に取り付けられていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の電動歯ブラシ。
- 前記ケースの内部には、前記振動体の振動を許容しつつ該振動体の前記一端側への移動を規制する位置規制部が設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1,2または3に記載の電動歯ブラシ。
- 前記ケースの内部には、前記振動源の振動がケースに伝わるのを抑制する振動減衰構造が設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1~4のいずれか一つに記載の電動歯ブラシ。
- 軸本体、及びこの軸本体に固定され、重心が軸心からずれた位置に設けられた錘を有する偏心軸と、
該偏心軸を回転させる駆動源と、
を備えると共に、
前記振動体は、内部が中空の部材により構成され、かつ中空内部の前記他端側の先端付近に軸受が設けられており、前記偏心軸は該軸受により支持されていることを特徴とする請求項1~5のいずれか一つに記載の電動歯ブラシ。 - 前記偏心軸の錘の重心は、前記振動源を構成する錘の重心から回転中心に対して略180°ずれた位置に設けられていることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の電動歯ブラシ。
