Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a device for enclosing at least one product, such as a box, a packaged product or a product per se, with at least three corners, in a substantially resiliently stretchable and tubular film, comprising: grippers, one of which is arranged at each of the corners of the product for together engaging at least a free peripheral edge of the tubular film; moving means which co-act with the grippers to selectively move the grippers one of toward each other and away from each other; and displacing means which co-act with the grippers for displacement thereof at least along the product in a position moved apart relative to each other, therein arranging the tubular film round the product.
