- An emulsion composition wherein the weight ratio of 1,3-dimethyl-2-imidazolidinone to the ether compound is from 1: 0.05 to 1: 1.5.
- the emulsion composition is prepared by, for example, subjecting a mixture of an aromatic hydrocarbon solvent, the ether compound and 1,3-dimethyl-2-imidazolidinone to a hydrophobic solvent under heating (approximately 70 or less) as necessary. It can be produced by adding an active compound, a surfactant and an auxiliary agent for formulation added as necessary, stirring until uniform, and further filtering if necessary.
- the emulsion composition is a homogeneous liquid consisting essentially of one continuous phase.
- the emulsion composition is used after diluted with water. Usually 10 ⁇ for this emulsion composition
- the water used at that time may be either hard water or soft water, and if necessary, a spreading agent or the like. It may be water to which an auxiliary agent is added.
- Anionic surfactant A Calcium dodecylbenzenesulfonate (Wi t cona te P-1220 EH, manufactured by Akzo Nobel);
- Nonionic surfactant A Polyoxyethylene polyoxypropylene block polymer (Tox imu l 8320, manufactured by Stepan);
- Aromatic hydrocarbon solvent A S o l v e s so o 200ND (mainly C 10—C 14 alkyl naphthalenes, manufactured by Exxon Mob i 1 Chemi cal);

The mixture was stirred under heating (approximately 70 at a certain degree) until uniform, and the emulsion composition of Example 1 (present emulsion composition 1) was prepared. Production Examples 2 to 42
- emulsion compositions of Examples 2 to 42 were prepared at the ratios of reagents described in Table 1 to Table 12.
- Example 1 Example 2
- Example 3 Example 4
- Bactericidal compound 58 5.0 5.0 Anionic surfactant A 3.0 3.0 3.0 3.0
- Nonionic surfactant A 3.0 3.0 3.0 3.0 "
- the ingredients were added in the amounts shown in the table so that the total volume was 100 ml.
- Example 23 Example 24
- Example 25 Example 26
- Herbicidal compound 2 5.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 Anionic surfactant A 6.0 6.0 6.0 6.0
- Test example 1 low temperature storage stability test
- the emulsion compositions 1-42 were each sealed in 20 ml glass ampules with 10 ml of the emulsion, stored at Ot: for 1 week, and changes in appearance were visually observed. Emulsions 1 to 42 were all yellow transparent and clear liquids after storage, and no precipitates were observed.
- Test example 2 emulsification stability
- each of this emulsion composition 1 to 42 is diluted 100 times with CI PAC standard water A (total concentration of calcium ions and magnesium ions 20 ppm) in a measuring cylinder with one 10 Om cap. After that, it was left at 30 "for 0.5 hour, and the state was visually observed. All of the water dilutions maintained a stable emulsified state.
- Test Example 3 (Emulsification Stability)
- Emulsion composition 1 to 42 Each lm 1 is 100 times each using CI PAC standard water D (total concentration of calcium ions and magnesium ions 342 ppm) in a 100 m 1 stoppered graduated cylinder. After dilution, it was left at 30 for 0.5 hour, and the state was visually observed. All of the water dilutions maintained a stable emulsified state. Industrial applicability
- the emulsion composition is excellent in storage stability in a preparation under low temperature conditions, and has good stability in an emulsified state in a water-diluted solution, and is useful as a preparation containing an agrochemically active compound.
