- the read control unit 2106 If it is a read command, the read control unit 2106 reads the nickname from the nickname area 2105, reads the serial number from the serial number area 2107, and transmits it to the measurement data management device 104 through the infrared communication unit 617 and the cradle 103 (S2309). ). If the command is not a read command for blood glucose meter setting data 113 (NO in S2308), the read control unit 2106 and the write control unit 2104 perform corresponding processing when recognizing that the command is for itself (S2310).
- the blood glucose meter 102 performs a corresponding process on the command coming from the measurement data management device 104 until it is removed from the cradle 103.
- a command does not come from the measurement data management device 104, it waits for a command to come.
- a command related to a nickname is read or written to the nickname area 2105.
- FIG. 24 is a flowchart showing processing when the blood glucose meter 102 is powered on.
- the read control unit 2106 knows that the power is supplied from the power control unit 2103. Therefore, the reading control unit 2106 reads the nickname from the nickname area 2105 (S2402), and displays the nickname on the display unit 907 (S2403).
- a self-check operation is started.
- the self-check operation is an operation for verifying whether each functional part inside the blood glucose meter 102 operates normally.
- FIG. 25 is a schematic diagram showing a communication flow between the measurement data management device 104 and the blood glucose meter 102 through the cradle 103. In particular, an operation when an unregistered blood glucose meter 102 is connected to the measurement data management device 104 will be described.
- the measurement data management device 104 transmits a polling command to the cradle 103 every 100 msec (S2501).
- the measurement data management device 104 recognizes that the blood glucose meter 102 is placed on the cradle 103 by receiving the polling response command issued from the blood glucose meter 102. Then, the measurement data management device 104 transmits a state confirmation command to the blood glucose meter 102 in response to the polling response command (S2505). In response to the state confirmation command, the blood glucose meter 102 transmits the blood glucose meter setting data 113 to the measurement data management device 104 (S2506).
- the instrument setting transfer window 1902 in FIG. 19 is displayed on the display unit 907.
- the nickname described in the “nickname” field 1904 and the “function setting” field 1905 are entered from the measurement data management apparatus 104.
- the described setting items are transmitted to the blood glucose meter 102 as blood glucose meter basic data 117 (S2511).
- the same setting contents as the blood glucose meter basic data 117 are also recorded in the blood glucose meter individual setting table 1106.
- the blood glucose meter 102 records the received blood glucose meter basic data 117 in a predetermined area of the nonvolatile storage 614. Among them, the nickname is recorded in the nickname area 2105. When these recordings are completed, the blood glucose meter 102 returns a message indicating that the writing has been completed to the measurement data management device 104 (S2512). As described above, the nickname of the blood glucose meter 102 can be recorded only from the measurement data management device 104 based on the user's intention.
- the program can be configured so that the nickname display immediately after the power is turned on continues to be displayed even after the self-check is completed, and the nickname display is erased by pressing any key. In this case, the nickname continues to be displayed unless an arbitrary key is pressed. Therefore, the nickname can be displayed until immediately before use, and can be clearly distinguished from other blood glucose meters.
- the timing at which the blood glucose meter displays the nickname is not limited to when the power is turned on or when a specific key is operated. Even during an operation such as blood glucose level measurement or insulin dosage display, it is possible to always display a small font in one corner such as the lower left corner of the LCD 203 as the display unit 615.
- a blood glucose meter and a blood glucose measurement value management system using the blood glucose meter are disclosed.
- Blood glucose meters for wards are made assuming that multiple units are installed in one hospital. At that time, if a plurality of blood glucose meters of the same shape are arranged, it cannot be distinguished from the appearance which one is the blood glucose meter in charge. However, operations such as attaching a sticker are not preferable in terms of hygiene in view of the fact that the site to be used is a ward.
- the blood glucose meter of this embodiment is provided with a nickname area in the internal nonvolatile storage so that the nickname can be recorded there. Then, it is displayed on the LCD using the time of self-check that is performed when the power is turned on. By doing so, the blood glucose meter can be identified when the power is turned on.
- the blood glucose meter was configured to be turned off whenever it was removed from the cradle.
- the user is forced to operate the power switch to turn on the power when the blood glucose meter is taken out of the cradle and used.
- a nickname is displayed on the LCD. Therefore, when starting to use the blood glucose meter, the user can be forced to visually check the nickname, and an accident in which the blood glucose meter is mistaken can be prevented.
- a blood glucose meter program was configured so that the nickname can be displayed by performing a specific key operation such as simultaneous pressing of the cursor keys. Therefore, since the user can visually check the nickname even while using the blood glucose meter, an accident in which the blood glucose meter is mistaken can be prevented.
- This function also has an effect of giving a sense of security to a user such as a nurse who is busy working even during use.
- a nickname is written on the blood glucose meter from the blood glucose meter, it will cause a misunderstanding. Therefore, a program was constructed so that the nickname could be written to the blood glucose meter only from the measurement data management device. That is, the program for writing the nickname in the blood glucose meter is configured to be executed only by a command issued from the measurement data management device. Therefore, by restricting the writing of the nickname, it is possible to prevent an accident in which the blood glucose meter is mistaken.
- a blood glucose meter can be uniquely identified by its serial number, but it is not possible to ask the user to remember the serial number. Therefore, the measurement data management apparatus associates the serial number and the nickname and registers them in the blood glucose meter individual setting table together with the set values. After placing the blood glucose meter on the cradle and establishing communication between the blood glucose meter and the measurement data management device, the serial number is read from the blood glucose meter, the blood glucose meter individual setting table is searched by the serial number, and the nickname is Read and display on the display. By doing so, the blood glucose meter handled by the user on the measurement data management device can be easily identified. Moreover, when deleting the blood glucose meter record once registered in the measurement data management device, it can be easily identified by the presence of the nickname.

Abstract
Description

これらは周知のIrDA(アイアールディーエー: Infrared Data Association)規格に従う赤外線シリアル通信インターフェースを構成する。
その後、LCD203(表示部615)に測定した血糖値を表示する。
