Definitions
- the invention relates to a sealing profile for a sliding window pane of a motor vehicle, a sealing arrangement for a displaceable window pane of a motor vehicle and a motor vehicle door with a sealing arrangement according to the invention.
- Sliding window panes can be found today in all types of motor vehicles. Either with the aid of purely mechanical or electrical aids, a movable window pane is movable in a guide frame of a motor vehicle door. There are various requirements for the storage of the window pane in its guide frame. This relates to a smooth mobility when moving the window in the form of opening and closing the window. On the other hand, however, this also applies to a good sound, heat and moisture insulation between the vehicle interior and the external vehicle environment. In a third aspect, windows require a so-called good "acoustic performance.” This means that a disc must be supported against vibration in order to prevent vibration of the vehicle resulting in rattling noises of the window pane.
- DE 103 13 601 A1 discloses a sealing arrangement for sealing and guiding a movable window pane, wherein the sealing base is formed by a hollow chamber.
- the US 630 18 34 discloses a holder for a window, which is arranged movably in a provided with sealing lips guide rail.
- the sealing base of the guide rail is pressed by springs elastically to the holder.
- WO 97/25218 describes a sealing lip arrangement for a window pane, wherein a fold is provided as the sealing base, which has a cavity.
- DE 103 02 429 A1 discloses a power window assembly for a motor vehicle with a sliding window, in which case a stop of an elastic material is provided as a sealing base.
- US 6 286 841 B1 describes a seal for a movable window pane, the sealing base being reinforced by a material, such as metal.
- JP 08318740 A discloses a sealing profile for a window pane of a motor vehicle, wherein a cavity is formed in the sealing base, in which project rib-shaped elements.
- the invention is the object of the invention to provide an improved sealing profile for a sliding window pane of a motor vehicle, an improved sealing arrangement for a sliding window pane of a motor vehicle and an improved motor vehicle door with a sealing arrangement.
- a sealing profile for a displaceable window pane of a motor vehicle, wherein the sealing profile has a base and two legs, wherein the two legs are designed to resiliently enclose two opposite side surfaces of the window pane.
- the base has a contact surface with the end face of the window pane for guiding the end face of the window pane in the longitudinal direction of the sealing profile.
- the cavity has means for ventilation.
- at least one Strengthening rib arranged, wherein the reinforcing rib extends substantially in the longitudinal direction of the sealing profile, wherein the reinforcing rib extends in the cavity.
- the means for ventilation are designed so that a quantity of air contained in the cavity acts as a spring element. This is an optimal vibration damped mounting of the window in the sealing profile given.
- the sealing profile according to the invention also has the advantage that a moving window pane, in particular due to the movement of the disc corner over the base of the sealing profile, does not deform the base. It should be noted here that commonly the base is also referred to as a "seal bottom".
- any type of deformation of the sealing lip causes the smooth running of a window pane to be impaired by a deformation of the sealing basis, i. significantly degrades the base, which may result in damage to the mechanical components used to move the window, as well as the window itself.
- the sealing profile according to the present invention combines both the acoustic comfort of a seal with a sealing lip in the base and the mechanical requirements with regard to the stability with regard to deformability of the sealing base.
- the reinforcing rib contributes significantly to the fact that a corrugation of the base is avoided by a moving along front side of a window pane.
- the linear seal ground on the back is stiffened by the ribbing, thus increasing the flexural rigidity of the linear guide member. This increases the bending stiffness of the linear guide element about the y-axis and thus effectively prevents a "dipping" of the disc in the seal and thus the sliding of the seal, so that situations with increased friction losses can be avoided.
- the reinforcing rib further comprises a stiffening insert.
- a stiffening insert may for example be a material with a higher hardness (EPDM or TPE), a metal insert or a plastic insert. This stiffening insert now leads to a further increase in the bending stiffness of the base, so that a bulging of the sealing base is almost completely avoided.
- the base and / or the legs and / or the reinforcing rib are formed integrally with each other.
- the cavity has an elastic foam see filling.
- an open-pored foam is used.
- the cavity is only filled with air, wherein generally the means for ventilation and play an important role:
- the same applies to the opening of a window pane in which case removal of the front side of the window pane from the base of the pane relieves the load on the cavity so that it again tries to expand due to its elastic configuration.
- the means for ventilating the cavity now have the task of supplying the cavity with the necessary air.
- the sealing profile on at least two of the reinforcing ribs wherein the two reinforcing ribs are each arranged laterally from the contact surface of the base.
- Such an arrangement of at least two of the reinforcing ribs has the advantage that an additional guiding function of the window pane in the sealing profile in the transverse direction to the sealing profile is provided.
- a friction-reducing layer is arranged on the contact surface.
- the elastically deformable cavity for vibration damping of the window pane is formed.
- the cavity is formed in the base itself.
- the base encloses the cavity and has for the ventilation of the cavity corresponding means.
- the sealing profile is provided for receiving by a guide frame, wherein the cavity is formed by the base and the guide frame itself.
- the cavity tapers in the direction of a longitudinal end of the sealing profile towards the bottom.
- a tapering of the cavity has the advantage that the shape of the sealing profile thus expiring at this end facilitates retraction and extension of the disc into the sealing profile itself.
- the invention relates to a sealing arrangement for a sliding window pane of a motor vehicle with a sealing profile, wherein the guide frame has at least one longitudinal shape for receiving the at least one reinforcing rib, wherein the reinforcing rib by a force on the contact surface in the molding is einpressbar.
- the invention relates to a motor vehicle door with a sealing arrangement according to the invention.

- FIG. 1 shows a schematic illustration of a cross section of a seal arrangement according to the invention.
- the seal assembly consists of a leg 102, a leg 104 and the base 108.
- the legs 102 and 104 are thereby sealing lips.
- the legs 104 and 102 are formed for elastic surround of two opposite side surfaces of the window pane 100, whereby a seal between the vehicle exterior, the window pane 100 and the vehicle interior takes place.
- the windowpane 100 contacts the base 108 at the contact surface 110.
- the contact surface 110 may be machined in a special way, for example a layer of a friction reducing material, e.g. have a flock coating, paint coating or film coating.
- This cavity 120 has a valve 124, with which a ventilation of the cavity is possible.
- At least one reinforcing rib 112 which faces the opposite surface of the guide frame 122, is disposed on the base 108.
- this reinforcing rib is arranged so as to be substantially longitudinally, i. in the z-direction of the sealing profile, runs.
- the reinforcing rib 112 extends in the cavity.
- a stiffening insert 118 which is arranged to further reinforce the reinforcing rib 112. Both the reinforcing rib 112 and the stiffening insert 118 are T-shaped, wherein the stiffening insert 118 extends within the reinforcing rib 112.
- valve 124 is a preferred embodiment of the invention.
- a waiver of the valve would indeed be the basic feature of the not prevent sealing profile according to the invention, but the damping properties of the sealing profile could not be controlled so easily.
- the reinforcing rib 112 it is also appropriate to use two reinforcing ribs 114 and 116 which are respectively arranged on the left and right of the contact surface 110 and of the window pane 100.
- the two reinforcing ribs 114 and 116 rest against the lower edge 121 of the U-shaped channel of the guide frame 122. This leads to a slight concavity of the base 108 in the direction of the cavity 120, but this concavity takes place only in the middle of the base between the two reinforcing ribs 114 and 116.
- the reinforcing ribs 114 and 116 have a guiding function in the y-direction, which reliably prevents twisting of the sealing base.
- FIG. 2 shows a further schematic illustration of a cross section of a sealing arrangement according to the invention with a shaping of the guide frame.
- dashed lines various deformations of the base 108 are indicated.
- the reinforcing rib 112 can be pressed into a receptacle 200 of the guide frame with maximum deformation of the base 108.
- FIG. 3 shows a further schematic representation of a cross section of a seal arrangement according to the invention with a shape 200 of the guide frame 122.
- the base in the undeformed state of the base 108, the base is deformed slightly upwards towards the front side of the window pane 100, whereas In FIG. 2, a deformation of the guide frame 122 from the front side of the window pane 100 is technological. In both cases, however, the goal is to create a cavity 120 which has a vibration damping function via corresponding, not shown here, ventilation elements.
- FIG. 4 shows a further schematic illustration of a cross section of a seal arrangement according to the invention with a filled one Cavity 108.
- the cavity 108 is now an example open-pore foam, which can be compensated by compression of the foam pressure fluctuations again through the valve 124 or correspondingly formed pores.
- the reinforcing rib 112 which in this case projects into the filled cavity, ie into the foam 400. Again, such a reinforcing rib is helpful in order to avoid any deformations of the base 108 in the z-direction when closing the windowpane 100.
- intelligent foams 400 may also be used.
- foams have the property to adapt their deformation behavior as a function of the applied deformation force or deformation rate.
- Such a foam provides virtually no resistance to a "smoothly" sliding glass sheet 100 on the base 108, whereas spontaneous forces upon the occurrence of a residence result in solidification of the foam, which immediately stops the whirl therewith, thereby again making it soft Sliding the window pane 100 in the sealing profile to ensure.
- FIG. 5 shows a schematic representation of a cross section of a sealing arrangement according to the invention.
- the cavity 120 in which the reinforcing rib 112 protrudes.
- two valves 124 which are each provided for ventilation of the cavity 120.
- Characteristic for the figure 5 is that the cavity 120 is completely formed in the base 108. That is, the base in this case consists of the face 500 which faces the end face of the window glass 100 and the face 501 which faces the face.
- the sealing profile as shown in Figure 5 it is advisable to form the base, legs and the reinforcing rib in one piece from a material.
- FIG. 6 shows a schematic representation of a longitudinal section of a sealing arrangement according to the invention.
- the guide frame 122 is shown in the figure 6 and the base 108, which together enclose the cavity 120 analogous to the figures 1 to 3.
- the cavity tapers in the direction of the longitudinal end of the sealing profile downwards. This leads to an expiring form 600 of the base 108.
- Such an outflowing shape is particularly advantageous when the window pane 100 is itself sunk in the motor vehicle door in the open state in a motor vehicle.
- it when closing the window pane 100, it is inserted from below in the z-direction into the guide frame 122 and thus into the sealing profile.
- the geometric outflowing shape 600 of the base shown in FIG. 6 is particularly advantageous since here the window pane 100 is inserted in a targeted manner into the sealing profile, whereby the outflowing Form the contact pressure of the window glass 100 to the base 108 increases steadily with increasing z-direction. This ensures a clean guidance of the window.
- gaskets are preferably manufactured as an endless profile, the profile must be shortened, cut to length or cut to length to suit a suitable length Surfaces 108 and 501 glued or welded together, so that a mold 600 as shown in Fig. 6, arises.
- FIG. 7 shows a schematic representation of a cross section of a further sealing arrangement according to the invention.
- the cavity 120 in which the reinforcing rib 112 protrudes.
- Characteristic for the figure 7 is that the base and the legs are each connected to each other via an S-shaped transition piece 700, wherein the transition pieces are mutually arranged substantially mirror-symmetrically.
- the reinforcing rib 112 protrudes into a constriction 702 formed by the mutually associated transition pieces protrudes.
- the base is stored so that rotation of the base is completely prevented.
- the s-shape of the transition pieces 700 has the effect of achieving another spring action for moving the windowpane 100 in the direction 704 (x-direction).
