Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'un dispositif d'affichage d'images. Selon l'invention, une plaque de polarisation (11), utilisant un film en polyester en tant que film protecteur pour polarisateur, est collée de manière précise sur une unité d'affichage optique (W) telle qu'une cellule à cristaux liquides. Le procédé de fabrication comporte les opérations suivantes dans l'ordre suivant : une opération de transfert destinée à transférer la plaque de polarisation (11), qui est temporairement collée sur un film de démoulage (12) possédant une force de traction, vers une position faisant face à l'unité d'affichage optique (W), une première opération d'adhésion pendant laquelle une partie d'extrémité de la plaque de polarisation (11) est retirée du film de démoulage (12) et au moins une partie de la plaque de polarisation (11) retirée du film de démoulage (12) est collée sur une surface de l'unité d'affichage optique (W), et une seconde opération de collage destinée à coller le reste des parties de la plaque de polarisation (11) à l'unité d'affichage optique (W), tout en retirant le film de démoulage (12) du reste de la plaque de polarisation (11), qui est laissée temporairement collée au film de démoulage (12) au cours de la première opération de collage.
