 パワー変換回路のDC母線電圧が変動する場合でも、常に最大電圧で運転し高効率化したモータ制御装置とその制御方法を提供する。  d、q軸電流指令演算部(1、2)と、dq変換部(9)と、電流制御部(3)と、変調波指令演算部(5)と、PWM生成部(6)と、を備えたモータ制御装置において、第1変調波指令を制限して第2変調波指令を生成する変調波指令制限部と(13)、第1変調波指令と変調波指令制限部の制限値から変調率飽和度を求める変調率飽和度演算部(14)と、変調率飽和度に基づいてd軸電流指令値を補正する弱め界磁制御部(4)と、を備えた。
