Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'une particule de nanodiamant dispersible dans un solvant organique, qui comprend le chauffage d'une particule de nanodiamant hydrophile produite par un procédé de compactage par choc ou analogue (un agrégat de nanodiamant ayant un diamètre de particule primaire de 3 à 5 nm) dans une atmosphère d'hydrogène à une température par exemple de 300 à 800 °C. L'invention concerne également un procédé de fabrication d'une dispersion qui comprend des particules individuelles de nanodiamant de taille nanométrique dispersées de manière stable dans un solvant organique, ledit procédé comprenant la désagrégation d'un agrégat des particules de diamant produites par le procédé susmentionné par un traitement de dispersion tel qu'une technique de broyage à billes ou analogue dans un solvant organique, notamment un solvant organique polaire. La dispersion des particules de nanodiamant dans le solvant organique ne donne lieu à aucune agrégation, précipitation ou analogue, même après six mois et est capable de maintenir son état de dispersion stable.
