Abstract

L'invention concerne une fibre optique multimode comprenant un cœur central comportant un profil alpha; une gaine en creux qui comporte une partie en continuité avec le profil alpha du coeur central et une partie en gradin; et une gaine extérieure. Le profil alpha est obtenu par le codopage d'au moins deux dopants. La variation de concentration de chaque dopant et sa dérivée par rapport au rayon de la fibre sont continues. On obtient ainsi une fibre multimode pour système optique Ethernet qui présente largeur de bande améliorée.
