Abstract

Métodos para la produccion de plantas híbridas intergenéricas y plantas producidas así. En ciertos aspectos, las plantas híbridas intergenéricas son producidas por cruzamiento de una planta progenitora de sorgo que comprende un alelo mutante de sorgo iap con una segunda planta monocotiledonea. También se proveen métodos para el uso de dichas plantas y productos así obtenidos. Reivindicacion 1: Una planta híbrida intergenérica producida por cruzamiento de una planta progenitora de sorgo con una planta progenitora de Saccharum, en donde la planta progenitora de sorgo es homocigota para un alelo recesivo iap.
