Abstract

 ユニバーサルジョイントにおける十字形スパイダ110の軸部111の外周面に嵌着される金属環11と、これに一体に設けられたゴム状弾性材料からなる複数のシールリップ12~14とを備え、シールリップ12~14は、軸部111を相対回転可能に支持するベアリング120の外輪121の端部内周面に摺動可能に密接される内側シールリップ12,13と、金属環11の嵌着位置より外側で軸部111からその外径方向へ立ち上がる十字形スパイダ110のボス部112の立ち上がり面112aに摺動可能に密接される外側シールリップ14とからなり、装着過程でのシールリップの損傷等を防止でき、かつ泥水シール性に優れたユニバーサルジョイント用密封装置である。
